Ghaunkah did not pay any attention over at the money that he held to show how profitable he was doing but she geld her look at the female behind him. Merely taking the bag from his hand, she placed it on the shelf nearby then she met his stare showing more of a scowl, listening to his defense for the female behind him. "So her hair changed color and a little mark is on her body. That does not change the fact that you brought her without passing through my permission first. You think I am some sort of push over that you can use my House name to your whim to allow random vermin from the surface to move about freely? She probably have not even been cleansed through the flames of the abyss! Not even blessed at all! Just one dirty little consort you brought along for your own personal tastes is that it?!" Each moment her tone was rising higher as her fury showed more and the serpents hissed in agreement while they writhed at her waist. "And after doing all this on your own you expect to have me respect you? It is earned demon, not something i toss about so lightly" She took a small step back wanting to discuss other matters. "Tell me now what this proposal you have and it better be good." She was starting to feel slightly nauseous seeing the female behind him and she looked away keeping her stand near the doorway, in case the elven girl wanted to leave.


Gazing down from the small corner, the enchanted spider had already made a small egg that was in the center of the webbing. It cracked open revealing another similar spider only this one was smaller then it began to lower itself downward towards the raven haired female resting lightly on top of her head.

The tiny arachnid moved unnoticed over the female's hair unti it rested over the back of her neck, emitting a harsh pinch over the skin beffore melting into the female's neck, leaving a burning sensation that felt like someone placed a match over her skin for a few seconds.


"If you want to remember Naki.. that this business and all that happens within.. is my business. If she is not blessed through Lloth's grace then she is not blessed at all!. She could be a spy for that retard of a surface god from above or worse off, that weak handicapped daughter of hiss!" Ghaunkah was shaking with fury that he had challenged her authority by meeting her stare with his own and she did not like it once bit. this wolf was going to have to be taught his place. "Even if she is tending to the slave work that goblins do around here that holds the business to continue at its rate then that makes it my business!" The small ring over Ghaunkah's index finger emitted a small reddish tinge before falling still and she became less tense. "I will let her stay on the condition that from now on, i want NO secrets kept from em and when i say non, I mean none." She fell silent as she considered his idea of expanding the tavern int something more larger. She then glared once more at the girl before speaking once again. "Use the funds from the purse to proceed and get that creature fixed. I do not want to see any moon halflings in ulorbbath or else I will toss you into the Demonweb Pits and ues her body parts for decoration to a new altar to Lloth. Understand?"

Ghaunkah turned to depart but then paused as she remembered one more matter and turned to glance at him. "There is one more thing Naki" She used his name as she looked back to him. "The Book you were sent to retrieve. "Do you have it?" She took a step away from the door, taking a seat on one of the stools, crossing her arms under her chest. The whips moved across her lap in a caressing manner showing that she was calm once again.

Naki blinked. Once. It never crossed his mind that House Auvrea'mitore were behind the book assignment. Or maybe it wasn't and the High Priestess had found out somehow, thus trying to beat a rival to the punch.

"I am expecting payment before delivery is made", he replied simply. He couldn't care less about the Drow and their pathetic schemes, as long as he got his pay. Of course, that raised the question of how he would deal with the rightful owner if and when she arrived, but he figured he could leave that to the soldiers in charge of guarding the tavern.

Naki twisted his lips in a faint smile. "Indeed I do not forget the terms of the arrangement". He turned around and with a tilt of his head he signaled his pet to leave into the chamber beyond the door opposite the one leading to the bar. As she complied, Naki moved over in the same direction, going into the room right behind her and closing the door. A few heartbeats later, he emerged with the book that matched the description given.

"Those tanarukks also didn't knock me around hard enough to make me forget the face of the customer I made the arrangement with", he said as he held up the book showing it to the High Priestess. It wasn't an attempt to withhold the book from her. It was merely a statement, and the message was clear. Give the money, the book is yours, no questions asked.

Naki did not move, holding her piercing and potentially hypnotic glare with wild, steely eyes. When her hand reached the book, he loosened his grip on the tome and lowered his arm once she withdrew hers.

"For the proper fee", was his straightforward answer. He did not blink, his voice did not quiver in the least. The slow, pendulum-like movement of his wolven tail was the only hint at his awareness from her gestures with the whip. The proposal was attractive, getting to bash some skulls in. But he still needed cash that would not leave his pocket and go straight to the Auvrea'mitore treasure, unlike the proceeds from the tavern.

The demon's wolven tail lashed to the side abruptly when the High Priestess caressed his cheek, but the expression on his face was unreadable. It was impossible to tell whether he was falling for her or he was simply on edge, alert. His breath didn't change, his heart was beating slightly faster and with more force. But that was it.

"Name a place and time. I'll be there". A straightforward response that was still fairly open for interpretation.
