Blood feeds us all in one way or another
Eliza followed Eva quietly down the hallway, sensing few teachers still wandering the halls. Okay, she she wasn't perfect. Only a handful still walked around, and they had minds of jello. They'll be back to normal tomorrow, or the next time they lay down. A success-ish night, if i don't say so myself. The sooner we drop these off, the soon I can get to bed and recoup.

Conrad's instincts were buzzing like hornets and it was driving him insane. Hey, you people addicted to coffee? Want an alternative? Get signed up for an abusive prison-like academy and walk around in plain sight with illegally obtained weapons when you're supposed to be in bed. Your nerves will be on spike mode in no time. When the finally reached the armory, Conrad put his swords very carefully exactly as he had found them. He turned to the girls. "I'm going to my dorm and getting a sufficient amount of sleep. Call me if you need me." He turned to go.

In truth that she learned, or the times that he cried After the weapons were dropped off, Eva returned to her dorm. She pulled off her dress and put on her pajamas. She lie in her little school bed and sleep slowly overtook her. Some strange nightmare made the sleep restless, but when she tried to remember in the morning, she could not.

Sleep? One of the best rewards after a long, weary night. It was a night to remember, though no one would. None but the three of them. It's almost depressed. If the students knew what the Defiant was capable of, they would line up to join in. But it wasn't possible.
Eliza sat on her bed with a book in her hand, winding herself down. As she left the room of Abby, her stolen energies returned until she was back to the high he had had before. Pity, she was facing yet another All nighter.

Conrad opened his eyes the next morning and took five minutes to figure out why his neck hurt so much. Then it came back to him, piece by piece: the Defiant, the girl he carried on his back, the long minutes spent dodging zombie teachers in the halls... Conrad stretched and prepared himself for the day. The stars had told him something huge was going to happen...

Blood feeds us all in one way or another
Sun rise, oh joy.Eliza thought to herself and she closed her book and turned off her reading light. A long night of fighting and drama, and that's just inside the book. She closed her eyes before snapping them open and getting off her bed, before walking over and closing the binds. As much as she loved the idea of sun, the idea didn't really like her. Though she wasn't a full-fledged vampire, the sun left a nasty burn that bothered her for days.
Shower, clean clothes, a different book and she was out and about before most students. Teachers were awake, with no knowledge of what happened, she hoped, as she walked into the dining room and sat down, and waited for the line to open up to students. And so another long day begins...She sighed, not even knowing the half of it.

Eliza was always the first one in the dining room, so Conrad wasn't surprised to see her there when he walked in. Partly because he didn't want to eat breakfast surrounded by complete idiots again and partly for confirmation that last night had really happened, Conrad walked over to her table. "Morning, Eliza."

"Good Morning, Conrad." Eliza said pleasantly. "Did you rest well?" She asked, quietly, as to not set off alarms in the minds of the teachers. "I'm sure it was quite restless; sleep always is this close to School starting." She covered with a little laugh. "Would you like to sit?"

Everyone is changing There's no one left that's real To make up your own ending And let me know just how you feel
Silas Rigger looked disdainfully at the students. He could not place it, but they all seemed far too normal. Nobody was sending sprays of ice at someone else. Nobody creating miniature tornadoes to pass themselves the pancakes. Far too normal indeed. He felt as though he was missing something, or forgotten something important from the night before. He had the pleasant remnant of a dream however, of torturing a student.

[[Pleasant dream? Good Gog, thank heavens I'm in the defiant...]] Conrad did sit with Eliza. There were a lot of odd looks at him, but it wasn't in Conrad's nature to blush. He gave a cold hard stare to sniggering teenagers and set his tray down next to Eliza. "Have you noticed?" he asked her. "People aren't using their powers so often this morning." He himself didn't notice that he was feeling similarly to how he felt while in the cell with Abby.

"I have, actually. It's really weird." She said. "Usually I've gotten something that's meant to be insulting and demeaning by those telekinetic jocks over there." She laughed as she motioned over her shoulder to where the "popular crowd" sat. It was just like high school, though she'd never been. It was human nature to stereotype.
"Maybe something's going down that we don't know about. I'll probably search around during Break. Wanna join?"

They painted up your secrets With the lies they told to youAnd the least they ever gave you Was the most you ever knew
Abby managed to dress herself and stumble into the cafeteria. Something had obviously happened last night because all of her crystals were drained and they were all blank of memories for several hours worth. She was ready to fall over.
Abby only grabbed an apple but chomped into it. If it were not for the fact that she was ready to sleep some more at the table, it would have been a delightful apple.
And I wonder where these dreams go When the world gets in your way What's the point in all this screaming? No one's listening anyway

Conrad tapped Eliza's breakfast tray. "Hey, there's Abby. Does she look okay to you?" To Conrad she looked completely wiped - and he didn't just mean her memory. Gazing around the cafeteria, Conrad realized that everyone was looking differently. "Um... Eliza? What exactly do your powers consist of?" Conrad knew the question was out of line, but something was starting to bother him. He was starting to feel like he didn't have enough answers. Was Eliza feeling a change in her powers, too?

"She does look tired. Maybe whatever is going on is affecting her as well."She said quietly. She wasn't used to this quiet morning thing and she was beginning to feel on edge. What do your powers consist of? Well, if that wasn't the question of all questions...Eliza thought as she put her hands in her lap. "Whatever is going on, it's not because of me. I can't change powers. All I can do is drain energy from the ones I touch. And change into a house cat, but that certainly wouldn't cause this." She said as she readjusted her gloves, pulling them higher on her arms. "You think Eva would have any idea?"

In truth that she learned, or the times that he cried Evangeline walked into the cafeteria and immediately felt uneasy. Generally she had to dodge someone's muffin and someone else's milk carton. She slipped into the seat next to Eliza. "Anyone else notice how everyone is dead?" she asked them as she glanced around for muffin grenades. In a magical school, it was a real possibility.
A loud thunk drew her attention as Abby's head slammed onto a table. The small girl looked around to see if anyone had noticed. Eva turned away quickly and looked at her friends. "Any ideas?" she asked them, not realizing that they were curious of her ideas just before she entered.
