Hatomi sensed something was wrong and looked over at Rosuto. "You ok?" He asked softly his eyes showing concern and his eyebrows knitted together to fully show the emotion flit across his face. Then he heard their voices and he stiffened. Blinking a few times he turned his head slowly and his features paled. He wasn't ready for confrontation from his gang yet. He had made all his preperations to be done in front of everyone at school. 's**t,' his mind cursed as he turned his head quickly back to the table trying to drown them out. "Sorry about this Rosuto," He said faintly as to not draw attention to them.
Shadow laughed loudly, but otherwise seemed to be very serious about something as he spoke to Kyo, "But don't you feel bad?"
Kyo shrugged, "Once a bully always a bullie I say. Though I hate to be the bringer of pain it's like I can't help it. Like it's a moral imperative."
"The only thing Moral about you is your galent talents for Hatomi to use at his every whim," Tanya chuckled, "Even the bigger bullies find him intimidating and find themselves following him. Even if he was or is gay he seems to exude that air that no one can touch him. I often wonder if something happened to him in his past to make him that way."
The two nodded and Hatomi had a confused look on his face now. He had picked up on everything they were so loudly talking about. He had no idea what to think since he always thought they thought he was straight as an arrow. Shows how naive he was about that. At that moment Raneeta choose to appear with their orders. "Okay Hatomi here's your order," She turned to Rosuto and winked, "Enjoy yours as well Hun." She giggled and walked over to his gangs table and at first she seemed confused on why they were sitting seperately and that's when she asked. "Why you guys not sitting with Hatomi? Don't you always sit together?" It went deathly silent then.

Rosuto was suddenly thrown into a world of fear and confusion. The gang now knew they were here. He wanted nothing more than to just run away. Unconsciously, he scratched a little at the slits despite how much they hurt. They would probably bleed again, but that didn't matter. In some way, they were able to drown out his fear. Pain mattered nothing to him, since he was so used to it. Right now, he was just trying to calm down and act as if nothing happened. It didn't take long before he felt some kind of moisture on his fingers, and there was a bit of red that appeared on the bandages.

Hatomi cursed under his breath and looked at Rosuto. He sent an appologetic look and heard as the others approached their table. Shadow was the first to speak and he sat down directly next to Rosuto. "What's up you two," He smirked knowing full well that neither had come here either to be bullied or be the bullie.
Tanya ran her fingers through her dark pixie hair, "But freakin time damn your thick H."
Kyo looked befuddled and confused, "You mean..." he trailed off and a blush ran across his face, "Your not really.... are you?"
Hatomi looked utterly confused now, blinking he looked at Rosuto and then shadow then the other two who were either fighting over who sat next to Hatomi and who was going to get a chair. Kyo ended up with the chair. Swallowing Hatomi looked at them. There didn't seem to be a threat in the air aimed at Rosuto or him. It was actually a friendly air, "If you mean Gay Kyo then yes I am...." He looked away his voice wavered cutely at the end out of his nervousness and Tnaya giggled at it. At that point his face decided the blood to rudsh to his cheeks and the darkened color of his skin made Shadow and Tanya both laugh.

At first, Rosuto was really freaked out when the gang approached the table, but seeing that they weren't going to torment him or anything, he calmed down quite a bit. Even so, he was still very much uncomfortable and wanted nothing more than to leave. As calmly as he could, he just tried to continue eating his breakfast, but it seemed that nothing would go down his throat. Now all that's in his mouth was a bunch of stuff that he couldn't really identify. Perhaps it was a result of his nervousness, but anyone would be scared if they were now with a group that had unintentionally pushed them to attempt suicide, right?
Once more he scratched at the bandaged slit wounds that seemed to be reopened now. He didn't know why he kept this up, but he was sure that if he didn't stop he'd be losing a lot of blood, and that was something he really didn't need. Slowly, he was beginning to feel weak, since he had already lost a lot of blood the day before and now he had been still in the middle of recovering it all. He tried to stay awake, but apparently he just wasn't able to. By now he had stopped scratching the bandaged slits, but it was already too late. He was probably going to fall unconscious right now.

Hatmi looked at Rosuto and his face paled. He noted the way the other looked and how he looked to be almost able to pass out without thinking he rose from his seat and went to Rasuto's side. Shadow stepped away after noticing it as well. Hatomi grabbed Rosuto's arm and looked at it. Saddness flickered through his features and he touched the side of his face. "Why are you doing this Rosuto?" He said calmly, "I told you I would protect you so please don't do this anymore." The others were completely silent as they watched the display of affection Hatomi was giving to Rosuto freely.

Rosuto made no answer. He just looked up at Hatomi, who was holding his arm. There was definitely red all over the place and it was inching down the arm toward the elbow. The excess of it was dripping fromt he arm and just landing in various places. Though Rosuto wanted to tell his senpai that he didn't have to worry, it probably wouldn't convince Hatomi anyway.
"I'm sorry," he said, trying to resist the urge to further scratch the slits. Strangely enough, it was probably going to turn into a new bad habit, since they kept getting itchy every time he was nervous. Maybe he should quit it while he can before it actually turns into a normal part of his daily life.

Hatomi turned to Kyo, "Get me a wet wash rag now and find some bandages." Kyo did as told rushing off and not thinking twice about it. Eventually Shadow came out of his stupor and sighed slightly.
"He hurt himself didn't he?" Shadow looked at Hatomi's who's eyes went wide.
"You knew?" His face went pale and Shadow nodded.
Tanya squeeked, "We didn't tell you because we didn't know what you would do if you ever found out we were the reason why people were vanishing. Me, Kyo, and Shadow worked through it by ourselves and kept it from you. We're not proud of what we did or what had happened, but what was in the past stays in the past there is no way to undo what has been done." She sighed, "We are sorry though. Sorry to hurt you too Rosuto." She looked at him and smiled softly.

"Don't worry about it," Rosuto replied, attempting to smile, but failing miserably. "I probably deserved it anyway. Serves me right for swinging the wrong way." A small and very painful laugh was forced out of him. His body still ached from yesterday's beating, and it was very difficult to even sit up straight. It was probably just the result of the reopened wound. He had been almost perfectly okay yesterday when Hatomi had found him. It was no big deal.

Hatomi flinched at that his eyes saddened and the others went completely quiet. Kyo returned and Hatomi silently tended to the wound and didn't once look up to Rosuto's face. After he was finished he spoke softly, "Don't do it anymore ok?" He sighed and he stood up, "Excuse me for a moment okay guys?" He walked away shoving his hands in his pockets as he walked outside and leaned against the side of the building. His face hidden by his bangs as he looked up at the sky as it kept on raining.
Kyo sighed, "Damn....Hatomi is taking this harder then I thought he would."
Tanya nodded as Shadow stayed silent watching Hatomi from where he sat. Ready to bolt if the other tried anything stupid himself. Tanya looked at Rosuto and she spoke softly, "Rosuto hun. You didn't deserve what happened to you. We knew it yet we never told him. You probably didn't see it, but each time he hurt you it tore him up inside and he only got angrier because he didn't know why." She sighed softly and looked at where Hatomi was, "He's probably been hurting and hurting more now then we ever thought possible....he regrets every little thing he's done to you and what you've done to yourself.....not to mention all the lives he had taken without even knowing it. It's the most mind wretching thing he's probably ever indured in one day alone."

"I wish there was something I can do to help him," Rosuto said, trying not to scratch his wrists. "I don't think he should beat himself up. It wasn't like he intended to have things turn out this way. It's just all a confusion, isn't it?" Looking toward Hatomi, Rosuto wanted very much to go over to him and try to convince him that it wasn't his fault. Hatomi should never be blamed. He never did anything wrong, or at least on purpose. Why did he feel that he had to beat himself up for something that was out of his control? At least he rescued someone from going down that same road as the past victims.
'It's not his fault,' Rosuto tried to convince himself. 'He never meant to let anyone die. Besides, I just heard that he unconsciously was hurt just by hurting me. That had to be something, right?' Unfortunately, his opposing side was trying to tell him that it was still just a prank, that Hatomi as never hurt. There was that inner war again, and only Hatomi would be able to stop it. If only Rosuto knew how long it would take...

Hatomi was greatful for the rain. He could hide his pain, his sarrow, and his regret as those same tears that held those feelings fell down his face. He was glad the others had stayed put and not followed him outside. He could feel himself falling apart. The questions in his head felt as though they were tearung at his heart and destroying who he was and used to be. Shivering and without much thought he walked off into the middle of the parking lot letting the rain soak him. Letting the rain wash away all the pain he felt inside.
Mean while Kyo had stood up when Hatomi walked out of veiwe. Kyo placed a hand on the window. "Hatomi's crying.....he's letting out the pain.....I know he is. Hatomi's not afraid to cry. He's never been afraid of anything his whole life. But letting others see that pain scares him the most, and it runs hand in hand with watching others hurt themselves." He looked at Rosuto and poked his forehead, "I can see what your thinking, it's as plain as the nose on your face. Hatomi's always the opposite of what people think. They see a stronge handsom boy who fears nothing causes pain, regrets nothing, and shows no mercy. Yet deep down....he's...." Kyo trailed off and Tanya picked up the lost scentence.
"He's brave, yet tender, caring and kind, he's filled with more pain then should be possible, filled with dark secrets he tells no one, he regrets, he has fears, he's fragile. Yes he causes pain, but in turn he hurts himself even more when it's some he cares about that he's inflicting pain too. He stronge physically, but in every other aspect he's not. He's just a hurt child trying to act tough and stirving to stay alive his way," Tanya was looking at her hands now. She had always seen this side of him even though he didn't want people close. Even though he shoved everyone who tried away. His biggest fear out of all his fears was getting hurt by the ones who were closest to him. That had happened more then once to him in his life, not jsut by friends, but by his family as well.
Shadow looked at Rosuto, "Did he ever tell you why he lives by himself now?" Shadow in quired and willing to give that story to the other booy if he was curious enough to ask.

Rosuto shook his head, a bit curious. "No, he didn't say anything about it," he answered, "but I don't want to butt in on his private life. I'll just wait for him to tell the story." Besides, he didn't want to add more sadness to this day. It was a new day, and thus a chance to start all over. The past was the past, it couldn't be changed. Of course, he knew Hatomi would change the past if he could, but that would be a miracle, and miracles don't happen very often. In fact, sometimes they only happen every few lifetimes if not less. They were very rare.
"Well, people are going to think differently of Senpai starting today, right?" he asked. "He promised he would change, so nobody will think of him as someone who's merciless and regrets nothing." Unfortunately, Rosuto was mainly trying to convince himself. Even he didn't trust Hatomi, despite all those promises he had made and how guilty and sincere he sounded. It seemed much like a hypocrite's words as the words left Rosuto's mouth. He had been talking about other people's views of Hatomi when he himself didn't trust his senpai.

"Fine," Kyo growled, "If you want to think they will think that way then go ahead Rosuto, but your just as much as a hypocrit just saying that. you know what forget it, i'm going to Hatomi. I can't sit here and take this you and Shadow may be able to since you two just found out you were just gay too," Kyo walked outside and went to Hatomi. Hatomi didn't even looked at him as he shoved his hands in his pockets and just watched him.
Tanya sighed, "You don't get it Rosuto. Someone like Hatomi would become more of an outcast then you are. They won't accept him as he is now. He has no one left not even family." She looked at Rosuto. He was in so much unknown pain it killed me just to see him hurt others when unconciously it hurt him just as much if not more. He lashed out on people and that happened to be People like you and now us."
Shadow placed a hand on his shoulder and sighed, "We were going to quit the gang today. Though we weren't expecting to see you two together." He sighed, "but hay think what you want of Hatomi. He probably already thinks himself to be what ever you think he is so why bother. We're going to head to school with our heads held high and proud for what we learned about our selves before we got to deep in it like Hatomi has. See ya kid." He scruffled his hair and got up with Tanya and litteraly dragged Kyo away from Hatomi as they were walking in.
Hatomi watched them leave as he stood there. He sat down his cloths litteraly soaked through to the bone. He turned to his food said nothing and finished what ever he had left on the plate he had ordered.
