"Or you need your own guard," He mumbled quietly as he let go of her.

"Hmm? What was that? I didn't hear you?" She asked looking back at him.

She looked at him for a moment longer, not really believing that. "Okay then." She shrugged and continued on. It didn't take too long for them to get through the pass and into the valley.

Krystelle hesitate and then shook her head. "I don't need help getting it. As for where it is.... I left it at the place I was staying at."

Errdegahar felt torn. He didn't want to leave her by herself, but she was the superior one...and if she said she didn't need his help...then she shouldn't need it..."I do not like the idea of leaving you by yourself..."

Kyrstelle looked at him and shook her head. "You may not like it but you don't have a choice. You have to return to your home. And I don't want you to meet who I was staying with. It's just better that way." She said tilting her head, "Besides, you'll see me again when you can get away. I'll be back by the Lake of Sparkles... Well by the time you can get away I'll be closer to the pass but you know what I mean."

Err frowned and bowed, something close to hurt in his heart. "As you wish, my lady..." He turned and melted into the woods, working his way stealthily back to the Drow caves.

Krystelle noticed the frown and frowned herself. Did she say something wrong? Even though it was the truth? Hearing him call her my lady once again made her wince mentally. Clearly she had done something to upset him. "Good bye....." She whispered as he disappeared. She headed off to where she had stayed, praying that the residents weren't home. She didn't want any trouble as she got her crystals.

Errdegahar flinched as he moved through the brambles the next night. His sister was not overly happy with her best guard disappearing, and had shown him the brunt of her anger. The small lacerations and bruises throbbed still, not helped by the prodding and poking of the briars and the branches.

Having had no trouble getting her crystals, Krystelle had quickly left the area and gone back to the Lake of Sparkles. As the next night fell she made her way back towards the pass. Errdegahar had to be on his way. Pausing to nibble on some grass she pondered what exactly she had done to upset him the other day.

Errdegehar stealthily moved through the forests, coming out of the brush near the lake and looking for Krystelle. "There you are."

Looking up she smiled at the male. "Good evening, Errdegehar." She said. She walked over to him still smiling. "Ready to go explore a bit?" She asked finally noticing the bruises and lacerations, "Are you alright!? What happened?" She looked up at him with large eyes that held concern.

"My sister is not overly fond of my time spent away from her. It seems that my brother Ramoth is not an adequate guard..." He looked down at the ground, ashamed, "I was shown what it would be like if I continued my pattern of absences."
