Can become a great hurricane"  Akira didn't know what he would be doing next after his brother left. He figured that he would have to go home and deliver the news, not something he was looking forward to. Just as he was preparing to leave, however, he noticed two people not too far away watching him. One was a white-haired man, and the other a blonde girl. As the man approached, there was a look of confusion on Akira's face. He didn't very well know who these people were, or why the man was writing something down on a note and giving it to him. "Umm...yeah, I am Kazeryu Akira... Do the two of you need me for something?"

Within every illusion, there is reality"  "Kazeryu Akira? Well, at least your name is slightly less annoying than your hairstyle. This here is Regimaru-sensei, and he's going to be our instructor... We're heading to Cloud on a mission. Well, more like sparring than a mission from what Kazekage-sama said."Akeru supposed the guy looked like he could handle himself in a fight. However, she still think he looked really tough at all. At least he was somebody who could distract enemies while she cast her genjutsu; hopefully he wasn't an idiot that wouldn't follow orders. Akeru crossed her arms as she looked towards Akira, really just wanting to hurry up and get on the road. "So, let me help speed things along here so Regimaru-sensei doesn't have to get a cramp or something from writing. Our sensei can't speak but writes everything down on paper. He hates smart-a** people who try to steal his paper and pencil to be funny, so don't try it unless you want to lose an arm. And as for me, I'm Sukami Akeru, resident genjutsu specialist. Follow my lead and stay out of my way, and we'll be fine. Annoy me, and I'll make sure you don't have a good night's sleep for the entire trip there and back, got it?"Akeru turned towards Regimaru, waiting impatiently with a hand on her hip. Hopefully they were done now and could get on their way. She was anxious to have a real test of her abilities. "He's filled in, sensei, are we ready to leave yet?"

Can become a great hurricane" "Hey, there's nothing wrong with my hair..."Akira could already tell this Akeru was going to be one of those bossy girls, specifically the type he tried to avoid. And having a teacher that couldn't speak was also going to be strange. He wanted to ask why he couldn't speak, but right now the last thing he wanted to do was annoy the two of them. Regimaru looked powerful and like he had a low tolerance for annoyance, and Akeru had already threatened to use genjutsu on him, and how he hated genjutsu. "Alright...well, it's a pleasure to meet the two of you, Sukami-san, Regimaru-sensei. I'll try my hardest not to be a hinderance upon the two of you."

 Regimaru raised an eye at the girl and shrugged, noting that there wasn't much interaction between the two, other than the fact that the girl had more back bone than he thought.
Better than him writing down and explaining things, that's for sure.
He then nodded and showed Akira what he had written,
'Just don't be a smart-a**. The only thing I hate more than a dumb-a** is
a smart-a**. Like Akeru here. Now I'm sure you'll two will get along fine. Just stay in line and I won't have to decapitate you.'

Can become a great hurricane" Most people would be a little frightened of this threat of decapitation, especially from someone that carried around a sword like Regimaru. Akira couldn't tell if it was a joke or serious, but he didn't seem the least bit shaken by it. Instead he smiled a little: this guy reminded him a little of his father. "I understand, Regimaru-sensei. I've been taught by my father to be respectful, so I shouldn't be a problem for you. If he saw me being a smart-a**, he'd make me wish he would just decapitate me! Anyway, I'm ready to leave whenever you two are."Regimaru might have noticed that Akira did not carry a pouch on him for kunai and had no kunai or shuriken on his person. If he had done some research into the Kazeryu clan, he would know that this wasn't unusual for one of them, even when they knew they would be going into combat. They were known for going out with only a few medicinal items and their swords.

Within every illusion, there is reality" It was clearly apparent to Akeru that she and Akira didn't make a good team. But she'd admit it was mostly her own fault. She had been kind of mean to him, and she didn't really give him a chance. So, for both of their benefit, she decided that they should find out which one of them was better. She figured she'd show Akira she was the stronger one and he'd learn to fall in line. It was a team building exercise; she'd kick his a** to show him just who the team leader was. "So, are you sure you don't just want to back down now, Akira? You can save yourself the embarrassment. Just admit that I'm far superior to you, and everything will be pretty much settled..."The taunting may have seemed like she was trying to dissuade him from fighting, but in truth she was just trying to rile him up. If he did back down, she'd completely lose all respect for him.

Can become a great hurricane" Akira chuckled as Akeru taunted him. That seemed to be her normal mode of conversation, and he had gotten used to it in the short amount of time they had been a team. He never really looked forward to fighting women, but for Akeru he could make an exception. It wasn't exactly revenge he was looking for, it was more of wanting to show her what he was made of, to show that he deserved her respect. "You must not understand the distinct advantage I have over you. I know you use genjutsu so I'll be ready for it, and because of my swords, you won't get close enough to be able to hit me. I'd tell you to surrender before you get yourself hurt, but I've been around you long enough to know you wouldn't listen anyway."Akira drew one of his swords and pointed it towards Akeru, goading her to attack while reminding her she couldn't get close. Starting the battle with an advantage, he couldn't help but have a confident smirk on his face. "So, ladies first. Let's see what first move you can make..."

Within every illusion, there is reality" "Heh heh, this shows how much you know. Just because you know that I'll try to use genjutsu doesn't mean you'll know when I'm going to. All I need to do is distract you for a second, and I win."It was always easier when people didn't expect the genjutsu, of course. But even when they were expecting it, all you needed to do was get them to have a single moment of weakness and you would have them in your trap. Or, the fact of having genjutsu could be enough of an illusion in itself. Most shinobi, especially those without adequate genjutsu defense, were wary of having genjutsu cast on them in battle. The longer you went without doing it, the more they expect it, and the more they try to prepare for it. It was simple to let them defeat themselves by mentally preparing to defend a genjutsu while she focused on taijutsu the whole fight. It was how all fights went, either they would eventually slip up and she'd catch them, or they'd be so worried about being caught they'd leave themselves open. Either way, Akeru wins. "Plus, you're severely overestimating you advantage. You see, it might be difficult for me to get close, but that's why we ninja carry these..."Akeru reached into her pouch and pulled out four kunai, two in each hand. She quickly tossed them towards Akira, bgving a smug smile. Two were headed towards his upper body, and two were heading towards his lower body. He wouldn't have been able to deflect all four, especially since he only had one sword out. Plus, she doubted a mere genin would have those kind of skills anyway. She figured he'd dodge, and in dodging, he'd leave an opening where she could close in and attack. Once she was close in to him, it would be difficult for him to use his swords if she kept pressing her attack.

Can become a great hurricane" As Akira saw the kunai flying towards him, he didn't move his sword from its position. With his other hand, he made a few seals, activating his technique, turbulence. The wind around him began to swirl violently in random directions, all of which pointed away from his body. When the four kunai entered this turbulence field, they began to veer off in different directions. To an untrained observer, it looked almost as if Akira repelled the weapons, that they veered out of the way just to avoid hitting him. The smirk never left his face. Heh, I'm beating her and I haven't even attacked yet. Lets see what she says after this!Akeru had to have seen the disadvantage now. Her taijutsu was all but useless, and she couldn't break his concentration to effect him with the genjutsu if she couldn't attack him at all. Now it was time for him to go on the offensive. He drew his other sword and rushed towards Akeru, aiming his slashes for her abdomen. He was using the flat of the blades, so as long as he didn't try to stab her, he wouldn't risk actually cutting her.

Akeru couldn't believe her attack was completely useless. How could he be immune to projectile attacks? How was she going to even get close to him now. For now she was stuck on the defensive. She drew another kunai, keeping this one in hand. As Akira swung his swords at her, she held the kunai to block the attack. Akira was much stronger than she had taken him for, and the force of the two swords made her stumble back a little. As she stumbled, however, Akeru reached her foot into the sand and kicked it up, trying to kick it in his eye. However, his wind barrier seemed to still be active and the sands just blew away.
"Oh come on! You've got to be kidding me!"It was clear that Akeru was getting frustrated now. Once she regained her footing, she jumped back, putting as much distance between herself and Akira. She needed to think of some kind of plan, something she could do to beat him. She couldn't let him win, she was the superior one here! Then, it finally hit her; she sighed, lowering her head and dropping the Kunai in her hand. Her long bangs covered her face, but she seemed saddened, as if there was nothing left for her to do but admit defeat.

Can become a great hurricane" Akira saw Akeru put her head down in defeat and drop her weapon. Could she really be admitting defeat? No, this could easily be some sort of trick. She just needed him to drop his mental guard, and it would be over. He couldn't take the chance, not with her. He wasn't letting her steal a victory away from him. "Are you giving up? If you're admitting defeat, then just say so."He knew it would be tough for someone like Akeru to actually say the words 'I give up', but she was the kind of person to let things go on a technicality as well. He could hear it already, 'Well I never actually said I gave up, so I didn't actually lose.' The point of this was to make her less of a smug a*****e. So even though it might have seemed a little cruel to force her to give up, he had to.

Akeru was silent for a while. It seemed like it wasn't easy for her to come to terms with the fact that she wasn't winning this fight. But eventually, she raised her head, looking towards Akira. "I...I never thought you'd be so strong. I've never had anyone...completely cut of my ability to attack like that..."Akeru brushed a loose lock of hair out of her face. Akira would be able to see her blushing ever so slightly. She walked up to him, looking a bit nervous as she did. When she got closer and looked up to Akira, she seemed to get even more red. "Umm..I...I was wrong about you. You're really skilled. And...you do look...k-kind of cool...i-in the wind and everything. I...I just...umm..."Akeru now seemed to be seriously nervous, turning her eyes from Akira's and playing with her hair subconsciously.

Can become a great hurricane" Akira couldn't believe it. Was Akeru actually...falling for him? He guessed he had impressed her more than he was trying to. Now he was the one blushing. "U-umm...well, I'mm n-not that great, ha ha..."Akira was a total loser when it came to things like this. He didn't know what he should say or do. He did find Akery very attractive...but she was a handful to deal with...but he did find her very attractive. "I...that is...err...I-I mean..."It was such an awkward moment, Akira was beginning to wish she would have just kept fighting or something...

"Akira, I...I...can't believe you fell for this crap!"Akeru knew it wouldn't be too difficult to be a little distracting to him. She had figured Akira as the awkward type that had no idea how to handle women. Pretend to be just as nerdy and awkward and to like him, and you've instantly screwed him up enough that he can't defend himself properly. All guys had a certain kind of girl that easily throw them off balance, and all you needed to do was become that girl for a while, and it was an easy victory. That was why kunoichi were always the superior ninja, they had much more weapons than a man ever could. Akeru used her lullaby technique while Akira was distracted. By the time he noticed it, it would already have been too late to try to break out. This battle was hers.
