My director gave us a piece at the beginning of the year that really gave the altos a chance to show off. It was great.

I'm a first soprano, but I prefer to sing second or even alto. But, alas, I'm stuck as a soprano, because everyone wants to sing first soprano in our chorus, but most of the sopranos are really bad and can't hit most of the notes anyways. This really bugs me, since I have really good relative pitch and their wrong notes stand out bad. I just have to add, though, that
ALTOS ARE AMAZING, AND ALL THE SOPRANOS ARE SECRETLY JEALOUS OF YOU!!!

Wow.
All the choirs I've ever been in didn't let the girls sing tenor.
...I sang it anyway, sometimes, because most of the tenors weren't true tenors, and didn't really have an upper range. ._.

I used to be a Soprano when I first started Choir, but I was testing my voice the other day and I have become a low Soprano, or a high Alto.

I'm an Alto....I started Choir as a Second Soprano, which I can sing, but Alto suits me MUCH better. XD

Hi! im new here! my first posts! *all together...Aww!!!*
I really dont know what I am. in HS choir I was Baritone and made all state. I got to college was Tenor section leader. now in my church I sing Bass lol I LOVE my range. I call myself trisectional!! yay!!
true story: in Hs before we went into sightreading, my CD made meteach the Alto part and sing it. Fun Stuff there.

You are wrong, <********>, and overrated, I think I'm gonna be sick and it's your fault This is the end of everything I'm a mezzo soprano myself, but I can also sing some tenor.
I have a wide range, mostly because I switched from alto 2 (low alto) to soprano 1. <33 You are the end of everything I haven't slept since I woke up and found my whole life was a lie, <********>

I could sing anything from a tennor to a high saprano
cause I'm tallented like that.
But I like the saprano parts best
so I sing there.
