 LeonLeon cocked an eyebrow at Knaw's facial reactions.
He was used to getting ostracized for being a vegetarian.
"I choose not to let those kinds of chemicals into my body, thank you," He replied.
Toddling over to his ice box, he opened it and pulled out two carrots.
"As long as you're in my body, you might as well get used to it," He said before gnawing on one of them.
He reached his stubby arm out, offering Knaw the other carrot.

 ~Knaw~Knaw whimpered and followed the small Pokemon over to the ice chest. He still couldn't get over the fact that he didn't eat meat. That was about the worst thing one could do through the young Pokemon's eyes.
He looked at the strange orange thing, what was that? He hadn't remembered eating something like that before. He took it from the Gible's hands and tried to munch on the strange looking food...
...And almost immediately spit it out.
Knaw thought the strange thing was disgusting, even if the thing was hard to bite into. Biting things wasn't exactly enjoyable when he didn't have his own teeth to chew with. He looked at the Gible with a face of a child who was about to throw a temper tantrum.

LeonLeon frowned a little as the other Pokemon spit the carrot out.
"I'm not gonna let you starve my body. Here..."
After diving back into the ice box, he emerged with an apple.
"Try this. It's much sweeter. Almost like candy," He said, offering the Pokemon the supple red orb.
No Pokemon could hate apples.

~Knaw~ Knaw took the apple and began to devour it, nearly choking on it in the process. Apples were something he was a little bit more used to, they definitely tasted better then that orange thing. He began to cough up chunks of the apple due to eating so fast. The young Pokemon was already missing his sharp teeth and looked longingly at the smaller Pokemon's teeth.
He hoped he would get his body back soon.

LeonThe Gible muttered something under his breath as he finished the carrot.
"Learn to eat a little slower. I don't need you killing me," He said.
"In fact, I'm not letting you out of my sight until this is fixed."

Knaw ate the entire apple, core and all, as he listened to the smaller Pokemon. He figured that if he was going to watch over him, he might as well tell him his name. The younger Pokemon thought for a moment and then had an idea. He pointed to himself, and then began to gnaw on his arm.
Not the best way to get someone's name across, but he figured that it would work. After all, that is how he got his name in the first place.

Leon sucked at this kind of thing, especially because he couldn't read minds anymore.
"You're... still hungry?" He guessed, sticking his arm in the ice box and grabbing another apple, offering it to Knaw.

Knaw shook his head rapidly and repeated the motion. This time attempting to make a bigger show of pointing at himself. He felt it was terribly hard to talk to others without the ability to speak. What was that thing that the Gible mentioned earlier, telepathy?
Not that Knaw had any idea what that was.

LeonIf Leon wanted any chance of understanding what Knaw was saying, he'd have to teach him how to use Telepathy.
"Calm down, my son," He said calmly.
"I want you to close your eyes and think about what your trying to say. Think very hard, as if you're shouting it in your head."

~Knaw~ Knaw stopped and stared at the smaller Pokemon for a moment. The idea sounded crazy to him, after all what was to come of it? He sighed and closed his eyes, immediately thinking of of his name and shouting it out loud using a childish voice that was foreign to him. He had no idea what his actual voice sounded like, but he could imagine.
"Me Knaw!"
He shouted the words inside of his head over and over. Knaw felt silly for doing so, it's not like anything would come of it....

LeonThe Gible closed his eyes, clearly hearing what Knaw had said.
"Knaw... Knaw... Ah, your name is Knaw..." He said softly.
"I am called Leon. As long as we're sticking together, we may as well be on first-name terms with each other."
He'd probably end up keeping an eye on this kid even when this was all over.

"This is my dojo, just outside the palace," He explained.
"The palace is where we're headed next. We need to speak to some of the higher ups about this."
He wondered if any other Pokemon had been affected.

~Knaw~ Knaw paused before jumping up and down happily. He could hear him! This was an entirely new experience for Knaw.
"Nice meet you!"
The little Pokemon was just ecstatic, for the longest time no one had been able to understand him. Knaw thought for a moment before deciding to ask a question.
"Where this?"
Knaw had honestly never ventured outside of the Guild, and even he had only been to a few rooms.
