Cyn’gus was elated that Annoi had made it to camp. Along with her and Silence at the Outpost, he knew that no stranger would go unwelcomed and no mouth unfed. He laden himself with the rest of the supplies she had brought as they walked back to the main camp. Being sure not to be rude again, he made introductions, ”Annoi, these are our guests this evening, Alantha and Roesor. Ladies, may I present my wife Annoi” A great beaming smile made its way across his face that there was much good company to be had this night. As they reached the main campfire, he called out to Silence, ”Look who’s here”

Annoi bowed softly to the girls as introductions were made. "It is a pleasure. Now let's get you all warmed up." She let out a quiet laugh and began digging through her pack, withdrawing a pot and handfuls of small vegetables that were placed on the clean skirt she wore. "Che, can you get me some water? I would rather start the food now and then make everyone a warm spot to sleep."

Alantha bows lightly to the new girl and winces a bit. "It is nice to met you.." She bites her lip a little and closes her eyes for a moment. She almost passes out but she catches herself and she blinks a little. She sighs softly and sits back down. It was clear that she was pushing herself to hard.

Annoi saw the actions of the girl that bowed back to her. It was subtle, but not enough for her not to notice and by the looks of it, she was a little pale also. "Sweetie, why don't you come over here and sit by the fire. I'm going to make up a nice broth." The words were soft and spoken in a slightly carefree tone, but her eyes were trying to catch how ragged the breathing of the child was. "Cyn'gus," she whispered, "in the pack I gave you is a bag of herbs. Will you get them also? I have a feeling that the little one here might need their magic."

"Thank you.." Alantha moves closer to the fire and stops. She gazes into the flames for a moment, seeming to space out. She seems to snap herself out it after a few minutes and looks up into the dark sky. She frowns a little before she takes a seat near the fire.

Returning from the provisions tent, Cyn'gus had a small cask of water under one arm and a canvas bag in his other hand. "Here are the cutlery and cutting blocks, along with the sharpening stone che" He said putting down the water and the bag next to it. Kneeling down next to his wife as she continued preparing the meal, Cyn'gus whisperd to her, "The one called Alantha is nursing what seems to be a few broken ribs. Silence applied a bandage, but pehaps there is something your kind hands can do." He gave her a kiss on the cheek as he rustled through the pack and retrieved Annoi's herbs. He placed them in her lap with a smile then rose to shuttle more firewood next to each of the fires.

Annoi accepted the water and bag, poured the water into a pot which she quickly set into the fire, and nodded as her husband spoke. "I noticed that she was in pain... Fortunately, her breathing seems rather stable and she is not coughing blood which means that her lungs haven't suffered damage. The herbs should ease the pain which I need now." She kissed his cheek in return as he gave her the bag. A smile touched her eyes as he went to work.
With that smile, Annoi began to cut up the vegetables that filled her skirt. She noticed the girl move toward the flames and began to speak. "Once we get you fed it will be easier to breathe, child. Then we'll get bedrolls set up so you don't have to sleep on the hard cold ground." She continued to ramble on for a few minutes while preparing the meal.

Alantha just nods slowly. "I thank you again...." She closes her eyes for a moment, playing something in her mind. She shakes lightly, though not of the cold. She raises her hand slowly and rubs it on the back of her neck as if to make sure that nothing is there. She lets out a deep sigh and relaxes.

Cyn'gus returned to the main camp fire and placed a few more dry logs into the hearth of the flames, the sound of poping and crackling responded to the refueling of the fire. After wiping his hands of dust and debris, he returned near to where Alantha sat and took a seat. "We haven't had much opportunity to speak since your arrival here. How are you feeling? I learned that you had a bad dream"

Alantha nods at him slowly and starts to shake again. "Normally, when I dream, I see Eilistraee..but lately..I've been seeing Lolth more and more..the higher Matron of my home wasn't pleased to learn that I wasn't a follower...I fear that they may be after me as we speak..." Still shaking she holds onto her side, it seemed that she was rather scared by all this. "My dreams have never been wrong...Lolth is out for blood."

The girl had to resist shouting at the new person to arrive and settled for ignoring her as she walked away. "There is still someone out there." She was slightly angered at the fact that no one else was noticing the other presence. "And I am not little..." She sat down against one of the canvas walls and stared blindly into the open area; rubbing her arms whenever the cold sunk in too deeply and they started getting numb.

"Hmm", The dark elf emissary mused as he thought over Alantha’s words. ”I know doubt understand why a Matron would not be amused with a lady of her house being out of the favor of the Spider Queen." His arms were crossed as he stroked his chin in deep thought over the dark elf maiden’s dreams. ”I can’t say for sure why images of Araushnee would disturb your slumber, but what I can promise you is that while you are here, you are safe and should fear no harm.” Cyn’gus reaches into the recesses of a belt pouch and produces a small silver trinket. The image on the face of the round pendant, a female form, full moon and blade were like that on the signet ring he wore. He turns to Alantha saying, ”I bestow this holy symbol upon you on behalf of The Chosen. May it bring you solace and peace of mind.” He lifts it up, holding open the necklace to her.

Alantha blinks at the gift and she slowly takes it. "Thank you..this is kind of you." She places it over her head, letting it rest on her chest. She smiles warmly, it was nice to have good friends near by. If only her husband could be there. "I know that I am not alone, but...I feel it in my heart."
