StarrySeas Mriae Bonnie's eyes widened at the pokemon the two trainers released from their pokeballs. There was a Misdreavus, but not only that. There was a shiny Absol, too. The girl stared at the pokemon greedily, and then smirked. If Clyde and her were lucky in this battle and came back with both of these pokemon, Seth would be thrilled. Well, maybe not exactly thrilled, but he would be satisfied as much as he could with the two Grunts.
It as at this time that Bonnie shook her head to snap herself out of her inner thoughts. She had more pressing matters at hand at the moment - much more pressing! As she eyed the Misdreavus, the grunt nodded to her pikachu. Alright. Here it was! This was the moment of truth!
"Sparx, go! Double team!"
The mouse pokemon did as he was instructed, and performed the move. A circle of Sparxs copies suddenly appeared, and thus surrounded this Misdreavus. Which one was the real one, the trainers wouldn't be able to tell, and that was just how the Rocket Grunt wanted it.
But Bonnie didn't stop there. Once her Pikachu had performed the double team attack like she had wanted, she then gave Sparx another command. "Now Fling! Throw your magnet at the girl's Misdreavus!"
Fling: a dark type attack. Ghost pokemon were weak against those. As instructed, Sparx pulled out a small magnet. The little magnet had been given to the Pikachu by Bonnie as a gift recently, but that didn't matter now. All Sparx was concerned about was attacking his target. One second the magnet was in the Pikachu's hand, and the next it was in the air, being hurled directly at the little ghost pokemon. HOLY SH-
A shiny Absol! Clyde fangirled inside his head. Absols alone were strong and cool, but this one was SHINY. Shiny pokemon were extremely rare, how some snot-nosed little kid had it was beyond him. Shiny pokemon were for rich and powerful people like his father, and of course Team Rocket. He would have that Absol at all costs. But for now he had to keep his cover and battle regularly, though no one said he couldn't use any dirty tricks. He smirked. This was going to be awesome. Pandora hobbled forward, knitting her claws together. The Absol was so scary...Her eyes teared up.
"You got this Pandora, Focus Punch!" Clyde commanded. Absols were weak against fighting-type moves, and Pandora knew a few.
'You got this?'...It was..positive! "Master is happy with Pandora!" She shouted, uncompressed by Clyde or anyone but the other pokemon. "Focussss..." The Charmeleon breathed under her breath, body still, gathering energy in her claws. She curled them into a fist, now blazing with fiery energy.
"Let 'er rip, Pandora!"
The Charmeleon dashed forward, she was a speedy little thing. Clyde made sure to train heavily on speed, it was a very important asset in a battle. If you could hit the opponent first, you were good to go. Brute strength might be cool, but it was a little unpractical since it was usually just plain slow.
Once Pandora was a few feet in front of the Absol, she lept up, and propelled herself at the Absol to deliver the punch.
   The girl and the Misdreavus watched as the Pikachu mad the illusion of several 'chus with Double Team. Hmm.. "Use Psybeam!" The ghost type obediently shot forth a colorful beam of psychic energy at one of the Pikachus, hoping to hit. However, the chu then retaliated by tossing a magnet. It conked the ghost on the head, and she spun through the air a little bit, momentarily dazed a losing a sizable chunk of HP. Oh dear. "Confuse Ray!" The ghost's eyes now lit brightly in order to confuse the Pikachu. Meanwhile the Absol was facing the Charmeleon who was preparing to unleash a powerful fighting attack, and its trainer knew it too. "Hurry! Quick Attack!" While the Charmelon was fast, it wouldn't be able to beat a Quick Attack. The Absol rushed forward, aiming to strike and cause the lizard to lose its focus and be unable to use its attack.

phantompanther13 Panther frowned and tried to remember everything he could about the ghost floating by the old man. he didn't have the time to get cought off gaurd. the shupit would make a good adition to his teem, if he could get a hold of it. he reached for ghastly wondering if the ghost had the strenght to fight, he didn't know, but Swift Wing certainly did. this time would require fighting right off the back though. How to aproach? He let his hand drop. and walked strait to the guy, and sat in the grass near by. "Nice day."  The old man said nothing. Apparently deep in his meditation. The Shuppet also mimicked its training, not saying anything or moving from the spot in which it hovered.

Requiem Youkai
As Lotte put her newly-caught Pidgey's Pokeball on her Trainer's belt, she heard that piercing scream from behind her, and she knew that she had screwed up. Bad.
She immediately ran back to the beach, back towards the little girl. As the now dark-Squirty made a lunge for the frightened child, Lotte grabbed the Squirtle and held it up at arms-length. "Crap," she said bluntly. "How am I supposed to fix this?"
Lotte stared at the flailing and obviously very angry Squirty. There's gotta be some way to reverse the effects of a dark ball... Right? Lotte thought to herself. As she stood there, she realized there was something wet on her cheek. "What the...", Lotte started. It was a tear. Great. She hadn't cried in years, and swore to herself she never would again. Well, there goes that plan. Lotte shook her head and stared at the dark Squirtle she was desperately trying to keep away from the little girl and herself.
Then she looked down at the both terrified and heartbroken child sitting on the sand next to her. "I- I'm so sorry. I didn't think... Please forgive me. I- I can fix this. Just... please just give me some time. It may take a while, but I promise on my life that I will get your Squirty back to you safe and sound. I swear. One day... One day I will get Squirty home. With you."
And with that promise, Lotte called Squirty back into the dark ball. As she looked into the child's whimpering face, Lotte felt that all-too familiar lump start to form in her throat. And just as the tears started to pour down her face, Lotte turned and ran. She ran as far as she could from that cursed beach.
Finally, she reached the place she had started out earlier today. Seth was lecturing some other Rocket (as usual), and others were milling about, some grinning, some cursing themselves under their breath.
She walked up to Seth, making sure the dark ball containing Squirty was hidden deep within the folds of her sweatshirt. She held out the Pokeball containing the Pidgey and said, "All done." She just hoped he didn't find out about Squirty... As Lotte arrived and handed him the Pokeball, he looked at it and then at her with narrowed eyes. Something didn't seem right here. "What is it?" he asked, finding it odd that she didn't seem to be the least bit pleased in having succeeded.

Nikiana The girl took the flier with a grin. "Will do!" With a cheery wave, she headed back down the street, angling off towards where Seth was standing after a short distance. Once she'd gotten out of sight of the cosplayer, she let out a little happy squeal and did a little dance. She'd gotten a pokemon! Niki took the pokeball from where she'd stuck it on her belt and looked at it. What did it hold? She glanced around, making her way to a bit of an open area before throwing the ball. "Go!"  "Awesome! See ya there!" The Cosplayer waved as she left, still not having realized he had been duped and stolen from. What came from the ball when Nikiana opened it, shouldn't have been surprising. "Char?" a little Charmander chirped, blinking in confusion up at this strange girl.

When the confuse ray confused her pokemon, Bonnie gritted her teeth with annoyance. Uggh! She hated when this happened. Then again, she would just have to make due and try to overlook it. Neither she, nor her Pikachu were down for the count just yet. "Focus, Sparx!" she said, her voice steady, calm, and sure of herself. "And listen to me: Thunderbolt. Send it directly at that Misdreavus!"
Despite being confused, Sparx was able to snap out of it for a moment. He blinked, but then nodded to his trainer. A thunderbolt! He could do that. "Chuuuuu!" he said, electricity pulsing from his cheeks in the form of a strong electric blast. It was now heading straight for the Misdreavus, just like Bonnie had asked, and she could only hope that her pokemon's confusion would wear off within the next few minutes.

Final_Crucible Nadali walked a bit before she caught sight of the man. Her eyes widened slightly before she grinned to herself. This would be a great time to test her charm, considering the fact that the man was alone and seemed set on his laptop.
So, she slowed her steps to think for a moment before grinning and quickly sauntering over to the man. Standing over him a moment, she cleared her throat and set a soft grin on her face.
"Hello there, do you mind if I join you? I've been traveling for hours now, and my feet really hurt..."  "Huh?" The man looked up and adjusted his thick rimmed glasses to stare up at the pretty lady, blinking in disbelief. Was she actually talking to him? "Oh... uh... um.. sure!" He quickly scooted over a little bit to allow Nadali to sit on the bench as well.

Rocket Agent TRP "Huh?" The man looked up and adjusted his thick rimmed glasses to stare up at the pretty lady, blinking in disbelief. Was she actually talking to him? "Oh... uh... um.. sure!" He quickly scooted over a little bit to allow Nadali to sit on the bench as well. 
And, if that didn't work, than she could always battle to steal a pokemon. She just hoped that this man had a pokemon.
"I really appreciate it, I just knew when I saw the bench that I had to sit down. My feet hurt so much!" Than, she slowly pulled off her boots and started to rub her feet, letting out a soft giggle before stretching out her leg and wiggling her toes.
"Oh, right, my name is Natalie, and you are?"
As she asked that, she glanced over his appearance, her eyes lingering near his waist in effort to search for some pokeballs.

Nikiana grinned, not very surprised to see the Charmander appear. "Why, hello there. You're with me now," she told the pokemon, motioning for it to follow her as she headed back towards Seth to report on her success. If it didn't follow, well she'd just call it back to the pokeball. But hopefully the young thing would obey.

Agent panther frowned, wondering how out of it this guy was. was he sleeping? Well, it didn't matter. He was going to go back with at least one stolen poke'mon. He carefully looked over the shupit, deciding how to best grab it. a pokeball likely would do no good, seeing as it had a trainer. He stood up, moving a fet feet asawy before calling up Gastly. "hypnosis, put them both fast asleep." no that he was sure he could tell the diffrence with the old grandpa.

"What do you mean, 'What is it?' ?" Lotte asked. "Did I do something wrong?"
Lotte then smiled and poked the Pokeball Seth was holding. "I got a Pidgey for ya," she said. Lotte then frowned a little and said, "It's not all that strong or anything, but hey, at least it's something, right?" She smiled proudly again, praying that Seth bought her story.

Pandora bolted forward again, thrashing out with punches with the occasional smack from her flaming tail. She came at the Absol from all angles, trying her best to just beat down on him. Pandora wasn't even tired yet, one hit from a Quick Attack was nothing compared to what she was dishing out.

Final_Crucible "Perfect!" She said with a laugh, before falling next to him with a long sigh. Of course, she made sure to sit as close as possible but not really touching him. He seemed a bit unsure and awkward, so she would use that to her advantage and try to distract him the best she could.
And, if that didn't work, than she could always battle to steal a pokemon. She just hoped that this man had a pokemon.

Nikiana Nikiana grinned, not very surprised to see the Charmander appear. "Why, hello there. You're with me now," she told the pokemon, motioning for it to follow her as she headed back towards Seth to report on her success. If it didn't follow, well she'd just call it back to the pokeball. But hopefully the young thing would obey. The Charmander was more than a little confused, but it followed after Nikiana just the same. After all... its trainer wasn't anywhere in sight.

Still... he would have to keep an eye on her.

StarrySeas Mriae While Sparx was able to hit the Misdreavus with his magnet, he was not able to get away from the confuse ray. For a split second the Pikachu glanced into the ghost-pokemon's eyes, and that was all it took. Sparx was hit with a wave of confusion, which caused him to blink and examine his current surroundings. What was going on? What was he doing? Was this a battle, or just practice? He and Bonnie often practiced sometimes, so maybe it was one of those things. The poor Pikachu; he just wasn't sure.

The Thunderbolt struck, electrocuting the Misdreavus and draining it almost completely of HP. "Dreeeeavus!" it shrieked. The girl winced, but she wasn't out of tricks yet. "Pain Split!" The Misdreavus now began to glow, an attack that would restore some of her HP but drain some from Pikachu as well considering the differences between the two. The Absol dodged the Focus Punch, leaping out of the way and snarling angrily. Its trainer also frowned as well. "Swords Dance!" The Absol then did a little jib to raise its attack while the Charmeleon used Sunny Day... only to then by hit by a Brick Break. The attack knocked off a chunk of HP, but it was far from down. "Slash!" The Absol now ran for the Charmeleon, aiming to swipe its claws at it in a ferocious attack. (( OOC: Starry just cause you're a Rocket doesn't mean you can ignore how attacks work. Focus punch takes two turns, the charging phase and the attack. If an attack hits before the punch is executed then the focus is lost and the attack fails. If you're unsure of how an attack works then please consult Bulbapedia. Also, please don't powergame. Its not up to you if an attack hits my Pokemon or not. And it won't help you get the Pokemon either. ))
