Respect gets you a lot in this world... Edward slipped into the dojo and let out a breath he didn't realize he had been holding. He was still waiting for the Otokage to decide if he was even an Oto nin or not, and if he was, who his team would be.
"Alright boys, we're going to continue trying to get the Kaze no Yaiba to be a stable blade once more. Our control plummeted two weeks ago, let's get it back!" He said this after summoning a trio of Kage Bunshin. The group began sparring with the blades of wind, Edward fighting off his three clones. Every time he dispelled one, he created another to take its place. His cothing was getting torn by the wind blades, but he didn't care, his control was slowly recovering to the point it once had been at. Are you worthy of it?

 Cory Anaboko "Bred to Kill" Weapon | Genin | Sound A young boy who stood at five feet, seven inches walked into the dojo, his clothes sullied by dried mud. The only thing that was cleaned was the seath to his kodachi.
"Excuse me, sir," he greeted Edward, with a bit of edge in his voice after the events that had transpired today. "Would you happen to be expecting a genin to join your squad today?"

Respect gets you a lot in this world... Edward blinked when he heard someone enter the room behind him.
"Yeah kid, I am in fact. If I become an Oto nin that is." He jerked one thumb up to his forehead, indicating the lack of a hitai-ate. "But I have a pretty good feeling that I will be. So..." The Ex-Kage looked at the boy and blinked twice.
"Bloody Makai boy what happened to you? Stand still a second, this is going to be unpleasant, but you'll be clean, wet but clean." Edward had his clones begin practicing on the training dummies as he faced the boy and uncorked a water bottle. He let the water flow up to over the boy, then had it drop down, scouring him clean of mud. The boy was now dripping wet, but clean. Are you worthy of it? ((Lol, I am the Sannin, but my clone hasn't arrived with my hitai-ate yet))

Cory Anaboko "Bred to Kill" Weapon | Genin | Sound Cory sighed in slight anger, but smiled nontheless at the gesture of the shinobi. Although Cory was portrayed as a 'bad-a**' or 'jerk' at times, he knew when people were actually trying to be kind.
"Thank you." he said bowing in respect. "The Otokage summoned Manda a while back, and the god-forsaken kage had Manda throw me across a lake into a bog of mud at the training grounds."

Respect gets you a lot in this world... "Was there a reason behind it? A lesson he hoped to impart?" That statement about God Forsaken Kage had made the former Kage twitch. Remembering his manners he shook his head and proffered one hand.
"Name's Edward, Carnby Edward. Former Hokage and hopeful Sannin of Otogakure." Are you worthy of it?

"No, no lesson that I could see." he replied, cracking his neck.
"As far as I could tell, Manda acted on his own accord... But I cannot be too sure; I haven't even met the kage one-on-one." he explained, shaking Edward's hand with a firm grip and healthy eye-contact.
"My name is Anaboko, Cory. Of the Anaboko family."

Respect gets you a lot in this world... "Well then, pleased to meet you. From the blade, you are of the Weapons Class no? Well, that makes things harder for us, but only a margin. We'll have to focus more on chakra control for now, unless... leave that for now. Well then Anaboko Cory, I want to test something about you." Edward grinned sligthly behind his mask, peering over the dark leather at the boy.
"And just so you know.. Manda and I don't particularly get along... damn snake wants to munch on me." He shuddered. Are you worthy of it? ((Mint, you are one of my students atm....))

"I have always been a fan of slugs or toads... Gamabunta shares my interest in daggers and short-swords. Or in his case, large short-swords." he said, chuckling slightly.
"And what would you like to test on a young weapon-class occupant?"

Respect gets you a lot in this world... Edward pulled out a small sheet of paper.
"What element you're aligned to. Now, you might not care normally... but elements can be channeled into weapons, giving you an additional advantage. For instance, Wind would enhance your cutting power greatly, Lightning would of course electrocute, Earth would add a lot of power behind your blow, Fire tends to burn, and Water ... water well.." He pulled out a kunai and coated it in water before throwing it at a wall. Just before impact, the water split away from the weapon and hit just above the impact point.
"Water is fun all on its own." Are you worthy of it? ((That would not be the best of ideas Mint. Really it wouldn't.))

Deza calmly walked in messing with her mask a bit so she could see better. she looked at Edward then to the genin. He looked farmiliar to her but she HAD been not working for three years. She didn't say anything but it was very likely she knew him distantly from before she left for a while.

Respect gets you a lot in this world... "Well then, I'm going to have to train you in pure manipulation since you're wind aligned, unlike other elements it does not have a set weapon modifier." Edward replaced himself with one of the clone's who had been working on the advanced Kaze no Yaiba, leaving it to show the boy the deadly weapon. He silently made his way over to Deza, trying to sneak up on her. Are you worthy of it?
