Ishara

"My sister acts only as a puppet when she needs to be seen as one." Ishara sighed, shaking her head before looking at the frost around them. Cold was nothing new to her, no the shadows were cold. Always cold... Maybe not frost but cold.

"Dark? But i live in dark, so how am i not dark? Brooding? What is brooding? " She knew some of the words, but not how she was using them. She was confusing... Welcoming the shadows like they were her own. That was not right, these were Isharas, not this womans who hid. "Cute is not a word that is me, for i have no one that calls me that word. My sister was called that word by her mate, is that not a word that only mates use?" Ishara dodged the womans questions with her own.

A significant layer of ice had built up all around them now. Motoko was nearly overcome with shadows, everything but her left hand covered.

"Real ******** cute."

Motoko's body crackled with rai, but it wasn't meant to hurt Ishara directly. After a split-second, the rai diffused in the air, creating a great amount of heat, on top of doing a bit of science. The ice quickly evaporated. It was a quick and crude form of electrolysis, splitting the water into hydrogen and oxygen and keeping them apart just long enough for the clone Ishara had been conversing with to trigger the exploding tag planted under her armor.

There was a moment of silence, but after that moment the ten foot sphere around the two lit up like the sun. A bright white fireball scorched the surrounding foliage, burning for only a few seconds before running out of fuel, hopefully leaving anything inside of it incinerated.

It burned! The light burned! Ishara hissed, and she flew back, hitting the building behind her hard. She clawed at the light on her skin, her shadows retreating behind her to hide. She was wounded, and the light just made it much much worse. Her hair was blackened and her ears throbbed a bloody pain. Evil woman evil. If the shadows had not been there to shield her, if only for a second, Ishara was sure she would have had to retreat and slept again. One mere second! That was far too close, definitely going to be yelled at later.
"Stupid woman, for hurting the shadows. You can not hide from your own it is always there in the brightest of lights. " She hissed, her child like voice showing anger.

The actual Motoko leapt down from the treetops, landing hard as she spun, spitting a steady stream of oil in a complete circle around her. As she began to spin farther around, she stopped herself with her word, sliding it off of her back and scraping it against a buried boulder, sending sparks to light the ring of oil around her, eliminating her shadow. Her side was facing Ishara, though her head and eyes were focused directly on her.

"Tell me why I shouldn't finish the job. I don't care if you're Ishira's. you're an intruder here, so tell me what you want."

She grinned widely under her helm, shoving the sword farther into the soil.

"And if shadows are all you have working for you, I'll have to apologize for not giving you a long fight. You people die too easily."

"I did not choose to be my sisters!" Ishara protested, baring her fangs as she touched the wounds on her body. Her shadows slowly crept from her back, reforming her clothing and giving comfort to her body. She had misjudged this one, and her senses told her run. Her body shook with fear, the woman reminded her of Ishiras anger. Of her sisters darkness that she could not reach. She growled at her shadows for not warning her of this woman and they whined.

"My shadows are all that i choose... You can end it if you please, i am only here of my own curious nature. This place is odd, hidden from the grasp of the sister that can seal me... It is the one place she has not gone, that i doubt her master would allow her to go, so i run here." Ishara stared at the woman, she was not lying in what she had said. She would rather not be chained to her sisters shadow... She did have many reasons to be here.

"So nice of you to give permission."

Motoko twisted her sword, the earth shifting underfoot before stopping for a moment. The steel and stone of the building Ishara was backed against became like liquid, threatening to suck her in and harden as several stone and metal spikes jutted out of the ground in front of the girl, attempting to get the girl to instinctively back into the wall to make it an easier capture."

Ishara jumped up the moment she felt the difference in the rock behind her. Looking behind her, she almost ran right into the metal spikes, if it wasnt for her shadows wrapping around her legs and up her body to stop her movement. They groaned with strain, fighting to keep themselves strong so that Ishara would not be pierced. Ishara looked at the spikes and then at the woman.

"So if i said no you would not have done a thing?" She asked, stabilizing herself so the shadows could let go. She hated this cage the woman had created for her, it reminded her too much of the one Ishira put her in. Ishara knew there was no way out of this little thing she had started... It would best to retreat, but to where? Anywhere else, her sister would find and confined her again. "You wish me to leave... though i have done little to nothing but seek refuge... Where is it you would rather have me? I need a place away from my sister and her master. His smell is not here... and neither is hers."

"I'd still kill you. And I don't care, You've sought refuge in the wrong place, but it's a bit too late to run off somewhere else."

Motoko wasn't one to waste time. She continued her offense as she spoke, not skipping a beat. She made a seal with her sword-hand, and another, different, seal with her left. She brought them together with her fingers laced as large needles of ice rained down from the only open space Ishara had, the ground under her feet turning to the same strange mush that the wall behind her had turned into. The space she had to do anything with was quickly closing, pushing her back towards the wall.

Isharas shadows form two bat-like wings on her back and lifted her from the ground. Its wasnt quick though, the shadows where being careful not to touch the melting wall behind her. But all that matter, was that her feet were lifted. Ishara could feel the connection with her sister, did not want to ask for help... No, that would mean she would be trapped, in a different way. But, it was better to be trapped in that of which she liked, rather then rock or ground. This woman was clearly not going to let her go... And her shadows were practically failing with fear, causing her to only be a few feet off the ground. A safe place, a safe place. She looked at the spikes. Well the ground wasnt melting under them. She tucked the wings and tried wiggling through them.

Motoko narrowed her eyes, her grin not fading as ishara tried to escape. She waited, and as the girl began trying to squirm between the spikes, she grabbed the hilt of her sword again and squeezed it hard. the spikes quickly moved inwards, trapping Ishara. There wasn't a moment wasted as frost began to form around the girl.

"Too easy..."

Motoko's eyes opened wider for a split-second, before narrowing into barely visible slits. Her smile faded as she scowled at the girl, the spikes receding into the ground. The needles of ice were dodged, and the ground and wall returned to their previous states. Motoko wasn't letting up her defense, however. She still stood in the ring of flames.

"Looks like your mommy called. I'd run back home before the big bad wolf eats you."

Ishara was in a panic when the spikes suddenly grew to trap her. There was nothing she could do and the frost was coming. Her mind screamed for the woman she knew would trap her again. Her shadows went to wrap around her when the spikes fell. Ishara was stunned, as she gently fell back to the ground and looked up at the woman. Mother? Did she mean Ishira? What had Ishira done? She didnt even get time to answer, when her shadows jumped up in front of her. Run, yes, thats what she needed to do.

As Ishara began to Run, Motoko made a simple handsign and inhaled. She spat more oil out, aimed at the girl. Passing through the fire, it let out a bright, steady flame. Not to harm her opponent, just to scare her off. She watched as the girl ran, sighing softly before speaking.

"I really wish I wasn't stuck here. Can I at least bait a few people back here?"

Motoko - Neko

In mid run, Isharas friends turned on her. Her shadow jumped to her wrists and ankles, holding her still. She gasped, looking frantically at them. She knew what this meant, and she knew she would not have to wait long. Oh no, Ishira had found her. Or at least, she had sent something to return her home. Ishara struggled, her friends whining, begging her to stay calm.

"No, you do not have to listen! Set me free so we can run." But they did not. They shivered in fear as Ishiras darkness approached. Ishara could see it, it was quick, joining with her shadows and crawling up their connection to Ishara. She screamed out, pulling away, kicking her feet, but it was useless. The darkness swept over her body, and dragged her down. Unlike Isharas shadows, it wasnt effected by the skys light, so it grew, just large enough to swallow Ishara. It sat there, only for a moment after Ishara was gone, and then darted back in the direction of Ishira.

Motoko watched as the girl was whisked away. She hefted her sword from the ground and walked through the flames, which were doused shortly after.

"I see."

She walked into the compound, shutting the door behind her.

Neko appears with Ishira in the middle of one of the hangars, the concrete underfoot glowing softly with a seal for a moment. He was sure to hold onto Ishira, to help her stand.

There were maybe twelve other people in the hangar, all dressed in mechanics uniforms, along with four people dressed differently, one of being the lion-man from before. Motoko quickly walked through the door in front of the hangar, looking the place over.

"We're glassing this place and moving underground. Get everyone out of here and move the equipment to XBC-113, I'll make contact after that. Notify Matariel's squad. We are leaving."

Neko spoke authoritatively, and everyone listened without question. It was like a well-oiled machine. Everyone scrambled, even the strangely dressed people. He looked over to Ishira, checking her over quickly.

"You gonna make it?"
