I'm sorry that it takes a while before I get back. Happy Solstice yall.
Anywho

Ok, so you don't like it because of the house sparrow.
Nah I still like it, I just have a few issues. Andrews surpasses many things that I have seen on Totems. I think that's why a lot of his information is parroted online.

Jackabee, I'm not going to lie. I think that's the most I've ever heard about sparrows at one time. I didn't know, well, anything in that post except that you see them in the letters of supermarkets and stuff.
I must admit, I'm kinda a dork though. There aren't too many people my age that would know or care about that kind of stuff. I see stuff and get curious though, that's partially how I learn. I also watch birds a lot. Right now I'm sure there is a small flock of house sparrows picking up grain from under the feeder and there are probably about four or five of them on the feeder itself. The only native sparrow that comes to our feeder is the white throated sparrow and they only eat on the ground thus far. They migrate here from Canada.
Heh most people don't really care about me knowing a lot or worse, they find it annoying. One of my Aunts doesn't seem to like it one bit. Of course now I don't like her much due to a couple of reasons. My sister will often call me up asking me things. She thinks I know "everything" (which isn't true I swear!) She didn't like it when we were little at zoos and stuff.
See I see these books as a starting point. Look up animals online, use multiple sources, and if possible, go watch animals in the wild (or zoo, they're much better than they used to be).
See for another example (not related to the book) dove are often seen as the emblem of peace, but to me... they're rather pushy birds, always chasing each other away from "their" food. I also see them as kinda lazy, but hey, why waste energy on flying if you might not have to?
Anywho, I am going to doodle some more and look up some stuff. Later
