I agree with Yuri on that one. When I meet people they fall into two categories "Another Notch in My Belt" or "Not interested." Right now everyone goes into the latter though.

So, if a girl says "Your like a brother to me" Does that pretty much mean you're in the freind zone?

Hmm, well it sounds like the general consensus is, "most likely yes."
That kinda sucks, but, I think I could dig being her "brother" for sure. I do have some pretty protective feelings for her after all.

Okay, guys. Help me out here. So there's this guy at work that tends to follow me around and he also tends to seek me out just to talk. We had a store meeting this morning and he made the typical short joke with me. I told him congratulations, no one has ever made a short joke about me before (all the guys I work with are above 6 foot). I punched him in the shoulder and he put his arm around me. And left it there. Am I reading too much into this or what?
*edit: Oh, yeah, and the expression on this other guy's face who I am certain likes me was priceless.

Sounds to me like there's some interest there. Might be too soon to be sure though, keep us updated on this!

I think he froze in awkwardness, that he might like you like THAT but didn't want to make the move like he did. What WAS the joke? Aww, I feel bad for other guy's face. You've always had animal magnetism! They don't look much like squirrels, though.

Then he bent himself at the knees until he was about eye level and asked "Is that better? Don't want to put too much strain on that little neck of yours." And then that's when I hit him.
He also followed me around at work today as well. And when I was talking to Ben, whom I've become pretty good friends with, he came over and stood between us. I still feel I'm reading too much into this, but I've been told that I don't read ENOUGH into these kind of things.

NOT THE SQUIRRELS!!!I think you may have a puppy. . . is he at least cute? Sometimes you don't read into things, but you're just acting naturally. You can't help that you just make friends quickly. If you have to, you'll explain what's going on, but why do it unless they ask? He came to stand between you and another guy? Uhm. . . I know you can stand up for yourself--just step on his toe or push him out of the way.
