Kensei is a brave and stalwart warrior. He has great pride. He loves and protects his family. He stands guard over the females when they are vulnerable. He is the pride in his father's eyes and he has the cunning of his mother. He barely lets anything come in front of his duty, which makes him a bit boring. But he's also prone to romantic whimsy. He's a struggling poet when he feels like it. Matilda cares very little for the poet in him, but she is just as interested in combat as he is and she is a much-needed injection of fun in his life. She is very dear to him and he strives to be the best he can be for her- which involves being stuffy and boring. Matilda then laughs at him and makes him play some games.

Stayne is a bit of a black sheep of the family. He's a little monster, a trouble-maker, the scourge of his courageous and righteous brother, Kensei. He plays tricks on others, practical tricks that aren't always safe. He's sullen and likes to carve figures out of wood- something about knives and stabbing and not being allowed to do it attracts him. He uses his ability sparingly as it tires him out. He can knock someone out if he concentrates hard enough. Pleia met him and was at first put off by his energy. When he tried to play tricks on her, she could always tell it was him when he pretended, and she always believed everything he said, which made her no fun to lie to. He felt it was horribly unsporting to trick someone who was like that. He noticed that people judged her on her looks like they judged him on his reputation. He didn't like that and he started spending time with her when she was lonely. They enjoy stargazing together- but Stayne usually falls asleep.

Crux tells the future based on astrology and the movements of the stars. He's an adventurous pony and he is devoted to mapping the stars and the mysteries of the universe. Crux is a nice enough guy, even if he's a little intense and sometimes scary.

Pleia has seven senses- the usual five and premonition- the ability to see the future- and the ability to see the energy around everything. She's a little overwhelmed with the power so she's very suggestible. Despite her being covered in blood, Pleia is very kind and mellow. She likes to star-gaze and read romance novels. She likes hanging around her parents- the best love story ever, as she likes to think of it. When she met Stayne, she was afraid of him. She was put off by his black aura, but then decided that black wasn't that bad a colour. She likes stargazing and making stories up about the stars, especially if she can tell them to Stayne.

Matilda may look fierce but the only thing she's a danger to is the internet. She goes by the screen name 'Queen Matilda' on online forums and beats the crap out of all kinds of orcs and monsters and fairies. She's very vibrant and she runs around happily squeeing and chattering in 73315p33k. If she thought she had an online battle partner in Kensei, she learned she was wrong quite fast. He is a bit stuck in his ways and has very poor computer skills, but he puts up with her. He never gets tired of her and he is always ready for an adventure. Besides, a Queen must have a knight!

Pointer lights the way in more ways than one; he has premonitions and he can illuminate space ahead of him. He's a pretty adventurous guy like his brother, but he tends more to the magic side of their heritage. Pointer is a deep kind of guy but he tends to be a know-it-all because he can see the future. He gets along very well with Pleia but Matilda slightly gets on his nerves because of how hyper she always is. He enjoys Wealh, mostly because she has so much faith in him and he can see just how important he is to her. It's a chicken-egg thing whether he loved her or knew he'd love her so he loved her... first.

Yarrow is a magical healer as well as a ferocious warrior- especially when faced with magical battles. As her namesake, Yarrow can heal many hurts and protects against evil powers. As well as these abilities, she has a Sleeping-Beauty like power rooted in the theory of healing through sleep; her secondary talent is thousand-seal and allows her to put a subject to sleep or in a state of suspension for a given length of time.
Yarrow is a Na'vi girl but at one point she fell under her own spell and sealed herself in a state of sleep so long ago that no-one can remember how it happened and she no longer can, or so she says. The People took her with them when they moved and kept her as an heirloom for so long that they forgot what she truly was.
Jin Kyoshi was scouting out the People when they encroached upon the territory of the Green Lady. He saw Yarrow in a case and crept up to it to investigate. Upon seeing her asleep like the dead in the case, he stole her and took her home.
Brittania, upon seeing her mate with a random child was struck by a sense of loss; she had been unable to carry his get from complications from her previous pregnancy. She was very angry and shouted at him before he gave her a better look at the malnourished and half-dead creature in his arms.
"She looks just like you," said Jin quietly. "I couldn't leave her there."
Brittania adopted Yarrow as her own and doted on her in a much more caring way than she had her own children, though through Yarrow she attained a new bond with her kids and Jin's. They decided not to name Yarrow until they could awaken her, calling her 'Imouto' meaning 'Little Sister'.
Jin and Brittania, who rarely if ever leaves her stronghold, took Yarrow down to meet Heketoro to heal Yarrow, who helped heal her bodily hurts but could not break her spell, saying it was magic and not healing.
Jin and Brittania then took Yarrow to Belladonna in Kaiba Mansion, who sent them to Lilina who tried and failed to break the spell.
With no hope left, Jin and Brittania took Yarrow home and Brittania locked herself in her room and wasn't seen for three days.
Wishing to get out of the home which was so cold and sad now, Rage went exploring and came across Alpheus, a Spirit Mage. Rage asked him if he would help Yarrow and he agreed.
"I will save your sister," he said to her, taking her hand and looking at her with eyes that could plumb the depths of her soul, "if you let me save you as well."
Rage brought Alpheus home through Zanobi and Eerinna's Palace blindfolded and up to the room where her mother had locked herself in.
"Mother? Let me in, I have someone here who can help Imouto."
Brittania did not answer the door, fearing another disappointment. Rage was not used to being disobeyed, even from her mother. She beat on the door.
"Mother! Let me in!" Every word was punctuated with her fist on the door.
Alpheus put his hand on her arm. "Rage, perhaps if you appeal to her maternal side? She sounds unhappy."
Rage snarled, about to angrily retort before she reconsidered and nodded. It was a good idea. "Mum? Mummy? Can you let me in please?"
Rage was very surprised and a little embarrassed when Brittania opened the door. Alpheus bowed himself inside and reached into the small cot where Yarrow was curled in her comatose state. He reached into her spirit to stir it into life and action. Suddenly, Yarrow began to cough and wail and Brittania reached across from the other side of the cot and took Yarrow in her arms. Rage went for some water for Yarrow and returned with Jin and everyone else in the mountain in tow.
"I'm Jin Kyoshi," said Jin, introducing himself to the girl he had thought of as his daughter for weeks, "and this is Brittania. What is your name?"
"Yarrow."
Yarrow is still the baby of the family, being undersized and very sweet and Alpheus has become her willing big brother as the giver of many piggy-back rides up and down the mountain.

Yarrow met Brand when he rescued her from a mishap and fell for him deeply. She waited until she grew up to confess to him and would not take no for an answer. Not that he would have said no. They now have many children, some of whom are very self-sufficient, and others who need a good snuggle now and then.

Valmoriel may be named after the dark side of beauty, but the truth is that she can go either way; good or bad. That is her talent, Polar Magic, referring to the different polarities of good and evil. She has an emerald tea set from her uncle Mortedom and she sits around with her toys having tea parties. She doesn't invite Carmine any more, not after she set one of her teddy bears on fire. Valmoriel has a knack for doing make-up.

Carmine Masque is a firestarter. She has almost complete control over her pyrokinesis except when she is super upset, but unlike what popular culture has described, she does not unleash her powers randomly when upset; her powers just don't work.
She is a bit of a ruffian and likes to hang around with Abyss Kaiba and to a lesser extent, Selphie. It's very hard to play with someone all the time when they're a merpony and you like fire. She also like playing with Crux, even though he's a bit nasty when he takes things of hers and puts them where she can't reach. Then she throws fireballs at him until he gives them back.
She has learned to channel her talents into baking. She likes icing cakes mre than eating them. Don't think she's a pushover, though; she's as likely to feed a friend as set fire to an enemy.

Selphie is named after a creature of air, despite being someone who lives in water. This is due to her little friend, Melinda, the black and green dragon latched onto her. Selphie can channel into Melinda and see through her eyes and control her, but she only does so occasionally because it leaves her body vulnerable. Melinda is a familiar to Selphie and she worries when she is away from her too long. Melinda can hold her breath indefinitely and can travel with Selphie underwater. Selphie is a sweet girl who likes to play with Valmoriel when the latter feels like taking a trek down to the beach. She spends a lot of time preening her lovely hair.

Whittler had a Na'vi name once, but she just goes by Whittler now. She was clawed across the face once upon a time, but won't tell anyone how. Her passion is making nice things for people and will make you whatever you like as long as you ask her nicely and it is within her skill limits. She stays with Nashi most of the time- a bit of a bonehead but he's sweet and sincere and he appreciates her.

Ombre is another Negabaddie. He's higher up in rank than Sang Rubis and much more serious. His powers are formidable, but nothing a good burst of light energy can't moondust.
Ombre may be serious, but he is down to earth and he knows when to cut his losses and run. In fact he does. It's a bit of a joke. If he sees a situation sour against him, he will scarper and leave the fighting to his lackeys. This tendency has lead some others to call him the 'Go Go Guy'.
Essence is a maker of tools which help channel energy to do certain things. She specialises in weapons, but she prefers to make and improve star seeds and crystals for healing.
She prefers not to fight, but she will if she has to, and she fights well. She teaches novices if there is no other option for them.
