The crying Alkaid came running up the side of the mountain. Tear were flying back behind her as she neared the top. She loved Natsu very much and had hurt him badly. She didn't know if she could face him ever again. She would reach the top of the mountain and rest upon the head of the second Hokage. She threw her head into her arms and streams of tears would flow from her eyes. She was heartbroken, and not even her tendrils would sew this wound back together.

"I don't get it." Natsu said, kneeling down behind Alkaid. "You're the one who left me, yet you're crying? Jeez, come here." He said, motioning for her to come to him, opening his arms for her and resting on his bottom. If she came, he would rest his chin on her head, and merely hold her. Natsu's face was pensive, and a hint of a smile appeared on it. For a while, he said nothing, until he thought of the words, and in the way he wanted to convey them. "I...I didn't know what to say to you, ya know?" Happy was nowhere to be found, as he was on a little mission for Natsu.
"But you're back now eh? So, when it comes down to what really matters, you leaving isn't on that list. You're here now, and you'll stay, that, is what matters." Natsu said, sighing afterward. It was dark out now, but the night was nice, and warm as usual. Even if it had been cold, Natsu was like a living heater.

Once Natsu opened himself up for Alkaid to get close to him, she scurried over. Her tears began to flow ever more so violently as she cried louder. "I came back because I love you, Natsu! And no matter what's wrong, I'll always be here, with you. I will never leave again..." Now, Alakid's tears seemed to slow and she rested in Natsu's arms. She then realized that she had never let Natsu know one thing. That one thing was what she was so ashamed of and made her leave the village. "Natsu.... I want you to know why I left.... But I don't want you to think badly of this...."

Alkaid laughed a little. "No, silly... I'm.... I'm...." Alkaid stood up and backed away. She stood up and pulled off her clothing, leaving her underwear on, of course (keepin' it PG-13!) and stood silently. There were scars around her entire body that were stitched up by a strange thread. "I'm....a tendril threader...." she said before a stitch on her right shoulder began to open up and black tendrils creeped out of it. "I....was ashamed of this ability.... It scared me that you'd be afraid of me! So that's why....I ran away.... I ran away in fear...."

Natsu's first reaction was of course what any guys would be, but then he realized they had been talking about something. His second reaction happened as soon as he laid eyes on her scars. Natsu balled his hands into fists, and was practically shaking with his anger. He sincerely wished to rip whoever dared harm Alkaid in such a way.
Natsu then could see the threads that seemed to hold her together. The rip on her shoulder opened, and Natsu grew quiet. There seemed to be a tentacley thing growing out of her. He didn't shy away, and for awhile, didn't say anything. Then Natsu stepped forward, and poked at the tentacle. "Why didn't you tell me..." He said, attempting to lightly grab the tendril. "This is awesome! Can you control them?" He asked, looking into her eyes with wonder. Then her words really hit him. "Wait...you thought...I'd be afraid?" He said the word with distaste. "I can summon fire on a whim, hell even eat it, and you thought I'd be afraid of this, awesome power?" Natsu doubled over in laughter, and then leaned to her, giving her a strong hug. "You're crazy Alkaid. Men like me don't scare that easily."

Alkaid smiled as the tendril creeped back into her arm and then the tendril became the stitching that held it together. "I thought I was disgusting... That's how I was treated as a child..." Alkaid wiped her face of her drying tears and then felt Natsu's warm embrace. The flames inside his body gave off a radiant heat that warmed Alkaid down to the core. "I love you, Natsu..."

Natsu smiled once more, holding Alkaid just before lifting her off the ground and spinning as fast as he could. "I love ya too, Alkaid." He merely stood there for a moment, letting them just be. Then some naggy thing entered in the back of his head. He brushed it away, and turned at the sound of flapping wings. Happy didn't show up for a moment, but Natsu could hear it. When Happy landed, he was carrying a bag of something, and looked rather fatigued. Natsu grabbed the bag from him, and sat upon the floor. "Hungry?" He said, pulling out two bowls of ramen noodles, straight from Ichiraku. He immediately dug into his food. "I'll have to get back to training soon, Chuunin exams are coming around, thought I'd give it a try." The only issue was that he hadn't learned much taijutsu, and Zin seemed eternally busy.

Alkaid giggled when Happy came by. She picked him up and snuggled him in her chest. "Hey there! I missed you, little guy!" she said with a smile on her face. She then sat down at the ramen and waited for Natsu to join. "Y'know, I could help you with the training maybe. We could spar. And don't worry about hurting me. My powers heal me instantly." she said with a wink.

Natsu was on his third bowl of the ramen when Alkaid brought up the idea of sparring against her. He grimaced, thinking of how the battle would go. Alkaid was fierce, he was sure about that. There wasn't a doubt in his mind that Alkaid would be in mortal danger if he only used his physical power, and what little taijutsu he knew. From the small look he had at her special talent, he guessed it could sew up wounds, but what about bones? But, his flames were stronger than others, and that is where he grew nervous. He only knew two attacks based off of taijutsu, the rest of his arsenal packed with flame techniques.
Natsu rose to his feet, putting his bowl down and stretching out. He removed his vest, and tossed it to the side, not wanting it to get cut up or anything. Natsu really didn't have to worry about his scarf, nothing would be able to cut it anyway. After his stretching, Natsu entered a stance, one hand in front of him, the other close to his side. "C'mon Alkaid, let me show you what I've been doing since you've been gone." He smirked, wanting to show off his new found skills.

Alkaid after finishing a few bowls of ramen. She then pulled out her two short swords. "Y'know... I've been training, too, Natsu. I'LL SHOW YOU WHAT I'VE LEARNED!!!!" she screamed as she charged forward with incredible speed. She used her tendrils to launch herself began using her legs like pistons. As she got right up to Natsu within about a second, she swiped her short swords at his gut. She wasn't worried about Natsu at this point. She knew that he could hold his own for a while.

Alkaid was hit into the air, but she quickly recovered by launching her arms at the ground. Her swords plunged into the ground and she reeled herself back down with her tendrils. While doing this, she aimed a kick right at Natsu's face.

Alkaid took each hit, but she seemed completely unaffected by it. When she was thrown off balance, she just smirked. Right before the kick connected, a scar on her thigh opened up and let the kick slide into her leg. She lacked real muscles and inner working. She just had tendrils to control her body. Once the foot was inside, Alkaid would get it tangled up in her tendril and then wrap her arms around Natsu. The tendril from her arms would leak out and then go for the throat. She was aiming to get him in a chokehold with the tendrils and make him concede.
