At the Caved Mountain's Base
A rather strange looking man was sitting by the road that lead to the top of the mountian and to the other side His silvery hair was long and straight on the left, but on the right it was short and spiky. He was wearing a long, old looking coat , blue jeans and a red sweater His golden eyes was staring the empty space, since he was completely immerged in his thoughts. He barely seemed to notice the cold snow under his bare feet

Rex hummed quietly to himself, enjoying his walk along the pathway. Having tired himself out with freethrow practices, the boy had decided to take a stroll through the HQ grounds instead of returning to his room straightaway. It wouldn't do to keep himself locked up at home - the boy was determined to work his bandaged leg up as much as it could instead of picking the easier way - resting.
Tossing his basketball from hand to hand, Rex was just about to turn around and make his way back where he came from when he spotted someone - a strange looking someone, at that, sitting by the fork of the road. He stopped in his tracks and observed the man for a while.
Why'd you stop? Came a question from King. The tyrannosaur snorted and rumbled impatiently before Rex moved again. Come on, what's up?
I don't know. Here's a man I've never seen before in the HQ..
Huh. Does he look like a threat?
Well, not now, but... King's question had put Rex in a cautious mode. He gave the man another once over, before approaching him. The boy's muscles tensed, and he prepared himself for a fight, or a flee.
"Uh... excuse me, mister stranger? Are you a threat?"
Stupid.

"No. Are you?" he kept sitting there, not shifting his gaze towards the Mishap

Rex sighed a relief, waving his tail slightly behind him. "No, I'm not."
The boy stood where he was, pondering on what to do next. Normally he was not one to stick around a random stranger and 'pester' him/her, but since there was nothing left to do, the boy did just that.
Moving behind the white haired man, Rex lowered himself to one knee, and followed his gaze into empty space. "Huh.. whatcha looking at?"

"Infinity" he said absentmindedly before turning to the Mishap. He didn't looked at all surprised to see a 10 feet t-rex boy looking at him
"You're Rex aren't you?" he smiled

Infinity? Rex summoned all his attention and squinted, trying to get a glance at this 'infinity' the man was talking about. To his dismal, all he could see was the usual scenery of the HQ grounds - not that he was complaining, this place was paradise.
The boy was about to press further on what is this infinity thing when he caught sight of the man looking at him. He gave a start, catching himself from falling to the sides just in time. Ow.
Wrinkled face then turned to surprise as the man said out his name. "Y-yes..." Rex blinked down at the golden eyed man, his face full of question marks.
"How'd you know my name?"

He couldn't help to laugh a bit. Although it was a low and polite one it sounded unusually clear and light, almost like water
"I didn't. It happens to be the same as your first nickname"

First nickname? Ah, now that was something interesting.
Rex sat himself beside the man he had somehow come to like. Perhaps it was the laugh, or his strangely calm demeanor. It did not really matter, because his interest was somewhere else.
"My first nickname?"

"Every Mishap receives a nickname once they gain entry. It's part of the procedure. Most don't tend to keep it after they're named"
He looked at Rex, his eyes smiling in an amused way

"Ah..." So that's what a first nickname is. Rex nodded slowly, the turned to the man, a grin on his striped face. "But I'm still Rex, and forever'll be Rex." This he said with a touch of pride. First Rex, then Rex, and always Rex. Hmph!
Which reminded him. "Oh, what's your name, mister?"
King snorted. There you go, ignoring him again. The tyrannosaur let out a barking growl to remind the two he was still there, and waved his tiny little arms.
Oh, sorry. As usual, Rex tilted his head so King came into sight, and added, "And this is King, my twin."

"I know who he is. He's the one who took a part of me with you arrived" he grabed a strand of hair and waved it between the fingers, grinning
"But yes, you are both Rexes and both Kings. And you can call me Birvan"

"He did?" Rex asked, horrified that King would do such a thing to a stranger - but then again, the poor hairdresser experienced just that before... wait. How did the man know about all these? He could not have been a stranger then.
Of course!
"Nice to meet you, Birvan." Rex smiled, holding out a hand to him. Somehow, that name sounded familiar...

"He's not the first and certainly not the last babe to have an interest for my hair. But he was the only one who actually kept a strand when I departed" he chuckled slightly
He simply bowed at Rex's reply, before shaking the hand in return

Rex shook the hand vigorously, feeling rather happy at the encounter. If what the man was true, King certainly hadn't kept the hair properly. The boy did not remember ever having a strand of silvery hair.
"So, uh..." Oh dear, what now? Rex was never one to keep up any conversation - his mind twirled, searching for stuff to say. "You're part of this agency too then? Friend of Jabir and Miss Maggie?"
