I threw a blanket over Alex and perched on the window sill watching the humans scramble around. Cally is very weird... I caught the eyes of a human they looked up at me then took off running. Yup... only Cally doesn't run. Why?

Ki sat in front of me and sorrow seemed to linger in her eyes... as she felt bad for me. I pressed my forehead to the window pain. Closing my eyes I imagined the soft breeze of India as I felt as a child, the smell of the heat. I started to hum under my breath... just an old Indian folk song.

I memorized every star in the sky, ever curve of light, every shadow cast by the moon. Everything kinda faded into the background... the sky becoming the only thing I could see.
