The grimace on Ergo's face faded as Noel's hand came into contact with his cheek. "Yeah, fine." He relaxed, savoring the feeling he got when he looked at Noel. "Just... not feeling quite myself today. Nothing to worry about." Grinning again, he continued, "And I didn't exactly have to hunt for you. The roads are fairly easy to traverse, and there was no secrecy in your little... excursion." He chuckled. After a moment, he added, "Not to say that you aren't worth hunting for. I totally would, had that been the situation. What exactly is the reason behind being here, if you don't mind me asking?"

Frei took a deep breath and gave a sigh of relief. No one had noticed him standing there. But what should he do now? He had seen all the others except for Aeos, Haveni and Seir-though Seir had been right in front of him, and he didn't even know it. Where were the others? Maybe it was too soon to be jumping to conclusions. Haveni could still be alright couldn't she? Frei had to be sure that they had kept their promise. He had heard the conversation between the inn keeper's servant and the cloaked man. Now he knew where their rooms were. Not to far from his. Maybe he would sneak around that night and check up on things just to be sure.
He didn't want to cause a panic, but he almost felt like inquiring the one who had given the hooded figure his keys, the one who worked here. Maybe he knew something from talking with them. He paused though, and walked over to the counter. "Um excuse me, the ones who just made reservations here. I'm a......friends with one of them," he lied. "Could you come tell me if you see a lady in white with them. It would be most appreciated," he said, tossing a few large coins to the one by the counter before leaving to his quarters.
((there, before the others came back in since his presence was ignored earlier. xD))

Alberon giggled as she called him smart, little hooves fidgeting ever moreso nearly prancing in place with his happiness. "Zuzu is a good name huh! Really nice..hee hee..an I am really really smart too" he answered pridefully, little grin spread across his face as she went on. "Uh..yeah it's what my daddy says, and daddys always right.." little head tilting to the side in curiosity, trying to fathom what she meant by people not always being what they looked..What else could someone possibly be? Two legs were two legs, four legs were four..ghosts were ghosts....unless...maybe one were a four legged beast disguised as a ghost!
"Ahn, I'm always polite mosta the time, sept when I forget, otherwise I am I am!" she did have good advice though, even if he didnt quite get most of it. His daddy would never have thrown away mommy, and he'd always love sissy..even if she was so icky and girly sometimes. "I know I know! I know this town really well, cause we live near here..but not quite..uhn..But yeah I know places, theres the inn..really big and fun lotsa people and food there. An' then theres the temple, sometimes they let weary travelers stay there, really nice place. Though its kinda spooky at night" his little voice dropping low for effect "An' then there's with me! You aint evil and your not deadly soo you should come stay with me and daddy tonight. We always stay over when we come to town cause its too long a trip back to do at night" the little phyri nodded eagerly grinning up at the twilif.
Dashiell had finished his shopping much more quickly with his son out at play. Little pack across his back full, their dinner neatly tucked away beneath his arm, Bread bowl soup was a favorite of his and he was sure that alberon would enjoy it aswell. The sweet little boy always did seem up to trying just about anything. Normally a parent would have panicked upon finding their child out playing at dark, and had dashiell not known his son so well he would have. No matter what he'd told alberon to do though he knew for sure the boy would have headed out to the beach..and probably out into the water. He could only hope that he'd come in by now and was safe and sound on the sandy shore.

Keanu tilted his head a bit and then remembered “why if it’s little Epona!” he hadn’t recognized her at first but as soon as she spoke he remembered her. He smiled at the little one “How are you doing? And what are you doing in here?” Keanu completely forgot about dinner and was quite happy to finally have some company
Suz sighed and shook his head before giggling softly “you’ll understand that when you grow up” she then patted Alberon affectionately in the head “Well then I guess you are a good boy! It’s nice to be polite with others.” She looked up at the sky and then back at Alberon. It was late and the sun was setting, it would be dangerous to let him all alone. The temple was a good idea and the inn sounded even better but…first she wanted to make sure the kid arrived safe and sound with his parents. She did not liked the idea of meeting his father but…well, she just had to make sure Alberon got back home and ten she could go to the inn after all…staying with them? Now that would be weird. “Very well darling….i guess I can go with you and meet your daddy though I don’t know if I can stay with you over the night…come on” she tied her venom vial on her obi and offered him her non-poisoned hand “let’s go find your Father “

Azhure was beyond torn. She wanted to go with the brothers, but what if Cempa managed to find her way to the Temple and they missed eachother? Hands flew to her mouth and she chewed on them nervously as she tried to make the right decision.
Her confidence wavered. "Maybe I could at least go with you to the inn here? Not to stay, I think I need to be here, but maybe for dinner? I need to make up for the kindness you've shown today." Then she caught sight of Ergo again. "As long as that being isn't around."
She wasn't usually to to make snap judgments about others, but that one just seemed off. And it didn't help to find out that he'd caused pain to one she was willing to call a friend. Even if she didn't know him very well. Even if they'd only met that day. He had been kind to her, and in her mind, that was enough.

"Oh oh okay! It'll be fun, an we can be sneaky and surprise him when I find him..I bet he didnt spect me to come back uh uh..usually daddy always has to find me" he nodded swiftly reaching out to kindly take the twilifs hand "You two legs can be really nice ya know that? I didnt know that..." his little mouth running a mile a minute as he glanced around the shore line, trying to remember where he'd last seen his father. Darkness and him just didnt mix well, and all the sharks came out, he didnt wanna get eaten. "Daddy was..lesee..back on the road..ya know the big market area, all the pretty things. He's probably got dinner too.." his little tummy rumbling even as he gently tugged on zuzu's hand.
"C'mon zuzu, I bet if we search near the food stalls we'll find daddy, and I know he'd love to meet you. An' then if you wanna we can show you the inn! Yup yup, the inns real close, real nice, did I mention it was nice? I think its nice, but we never stay there nu-uh, cause we always have somewhere else to stay and daddy says we shouldn't take up room when we don't need to"

I came here to shop for new ingredients for Cuire, new sheet music for Lirai, and New material for robes for Fulmine. Noel pulled Ergo down beside him, hoping he would sit for a while and talk. Why were you looking for me..?
"How about.. We leave a note for her. One the pillar that you touched?" He picked Azhure up once more, smiling and sitting her down on one of the benches. He then took off his pack and pulled out a piece of parchment and a feather pen. He handed it to her, smiling.
"We'll leave it here, then another piece of parchment, and a pen, so that if she decides not to come to the inn to see us, then she can leave a place for you two to meet up at. "
Fulmine really hoped this would make the little one feel better.. He couldn't stand to see anyone upset.. Especially little ones.

Nashara's eyes sparkled in the light of the other's fire, the ring of flame bright in the now darkened air. She watched the ashy remains fall slowly to the downwards, resting themselves on the tiled balcony.
She would work perfectly.
"In my experience, fire is known to brighten things up a bit, liven a dull situation." She turned around to face the beach again, watching Haveni and Noctis travel up the sand and into the village. The two Constellations stopped, greeting two dimly lit figures waiting at the village entrance. Heat flooded through her body as she noticed green garb one of them was dressed in. There was no mistaking that clothing anywhere.
It was Rosel.
She clenched her teeth, forcing herself to keep control. She turned, purposefully keeping her back towards the group below. She already knew where they were headed. "In my opinion, this city is a bit too... dull."
"It could use some fire."

Ergo willingly complied to Noel's touch to his arm, not quite sitting, but closer to flopping down beside him. The cool stone beneath and behind him relaxed Ergo a trifle, allowing him to begin without stuttering or sounding flustered, sober as the topic he spoke of might be.
"I was passing through the town, as I often do on my wanderings, and I thought I would go see the main attraction," at this he grinned lustily and nudged Noel in the side, "when I arrived, I found the town devoid of its usual festive air, and my quarry gone." He sighed lightly. "I had heard rumors, but I assumed it the regular myth and legend. I guess I was wrong. These are dark times, and things get worse as the days pass. I should have listened and come sooner."
He turned and looked out to the sea. "Times darken, indeed." The sea reflected off his eyes, dying them teal, and Ergo rested them on the passing clouds, much as he rested his hands on the white of the cloth covering his knees. "So! You come on a little routine shopping excursion, eh? Sounds like a royal hoot and holler, if you ask me." Grinning again, he broke away from the sea, looking back at Noel. "Mind if I stick around, liven it up a little?"

Stiff and uneasy as he shifted his weight from one foot to the other in the stand, Aeos continued to stare down at the little female Twilif. He wasn’t sure if she was serious in asking him for his name, considering his group’s activities were far from ordinary and with good intentions. The questions that should have been directed at him shouldn’t have been for a simple name. Perhaps, she didn’t know that he, Seir, Noctis, and Rosel were involved in the destruction of villages through the land?
“Aeos,” he replied after a moment with some difficulty. He drew her name from the murky depths of his mind; it was hard, considering how many people he’d met before. The constellation wasn’t sure if he was supposed to continue the conversation. Was it one? “Your name is Rylia…?”
At the appearance of Noctis, Aeos’ features flickered into one of faint disbelief. However, it faded soon after Rosel appeared. “Then we better head back soon…” the constellation murmured, gaze shifting towards Haveni. It seemed Noctis was being possessive, which was rather amusing since the gunslinger was a nefarious playboy.
Aeos glanced towards Rylia as he saw Haveni and Noctis walk over. “My apologies, I must leave in a moment. Did you want anything else?”
Seir rolled his eyes mentally. Children were so easy to toy with, but he didn’t have much else to say. “No, I’m sure my companions and I will find everything satisfactory.” He clicked his tongue to the roof of his mouth, wondering briefly why they had all left to do who knew what? Follow Haveni? My, they were such protective things--- but, at least, he knew Haveni wouldn’t be able to run away and no kidnapper would get through the defenses or attacks of those three.
“Add extra helpings of everything,” he mused to the twilif. He wondered why he had to order for everyone. Was it because he always had the plans? “Something cold for my brother’s dinner is also a good idea.” Humming lightly, he set a sack of tinkling coins to the counter and headed towards his rooms, keys in hand.

A vague glimpse of pale and black caught her eye. It was that other girl from before, wasn't it? She knew she had seen her earlier! However, she said nothing, but only gave her a little polite smile, still clutching onto Noctis' sleeve unknowingly as they entered the inn.
There was Seir, harassing the poor staff. She couldn't resist a chortle as she watched them scurry upstairs with trays of food. Bottomless pits, they were, the men in their group. Especially Seir's cape! She was sure on more than one occasion he had slipped food back there and it had mysteriously vanished, never to be seen again.
She butted her forehead against his arm to gain his attention - a childlike behavior but one she couldn't resist at times. Secretly, she had admittedly grown a little attached to these people. Just a bit, just a smidgen.
"We aren't all crammed into one room again, are we? It makes me nervous to take a bath when doors don't lock in some places."

Seir turned his gaze towards the figure who’d bumped against him with an arch of a brow. He was amused by the slight familiarity of her actions, considering they’d been the one’s to destroy her home village after all. The constellation supposed this was why she’d never shown the destructive anger of possession as she had back then. She’d gotten too used to their rather… quirky attitudes.
“So you’re back,” the constellation murmured, tones amused but deceptively gentle. “I hope you didn’t attract too much attention, as you always do.”
His gaze shifted towards their rooms near the back. “We’ve two rooms, lucky for you. You and Rosel will have a lovely time bonding,” he uttered with dry sarcasm. “Our dinner is being sent up as we speak.”

Dusk was falling and Rosel was getting hungrier by the moment. The setting sun had lit a fire in the sky, lining the clouds with flame and filling them with embers that burned from within. Rosel didn't like dusk, never had as far as she could remember. It seemed a pointlessly flamboyant display before the oncoming of night.
The night she could agree with, thrive in even. Sneak-things could happen under the cover of dark, and the glint of the moonlight on the edge of her lightning, she could watch it for hours. Thousands of tiny, jagged daggers flitting between her fingers at will. Ready to strike.
But it wasn't night yet, and the open city, even somewhat drained after the onset of evening, was no place to watch lightning dance. Especially not when they had a free room and meal for the time being. The group slowly moved towards the inn, each seemingly lost in their own thoughts. A month on the road and Rosel had increasingly missed the finer things in life, like decent pillows. Snapping her head to the side, she dispelled the thoughts. Pillows indeed, only good for fodder in setting a blaze. Speaking of blazes... could that possibly be a fire on the roof next door? A fierce mixture of hope and excitement rose in her chest and a small spark escaped her thumb to vanish into her forefinger. A good housefire, just what the night needed, and right next door. A free room, dinner, and now a show, the night couldn't seem to get any bett-
The excitement twisted as the fire flared and quickly, too quickly, died. There was someone manipulating it, but that wasn't what twisted in her gut like a cold knife. The red of the flames and the sunset did not hide the purple cloth fluttering in the gentle breeze. That alone was enough to make her wonder, the feathers, those ridiculous feathers, were enough to make her certain. Given the reaction a small fire on her dress had gotten, it was safe to assume the tramp wasn't the one manipulating the fire. Which meant she had gotten a little friend to play with...
The tramp's back was even turned, it was just too easy. A stronger jolt flitted between her fingers, but she closed a fist on it as she glanced to Haveni, being almost childishly affectionate to Seir. Not now. As much as it pained Rosel to swallow her bloodlust, the destruction by an open fight would no doubt lose this strange new familiarity Haveni had found with them. This bond could be used, whereas distrust would only make things much, much harder. Until the time was right, they needed that trust.
But only until the time was right.
Her fist loosened, but the lightning did not return as Rosel's gaze slowly slid to the the feathered woman hovering near the next rooftop. Her eyes held the sight until the doorway took her out of sight. Night was coming, and Haveni had to sleep sometime. No one in this little city would question a lonely crack of thunder in the middle of the night. Now that Rosel knew the tramp was here, and if she was lucky, where she might be staying, all that was needed was one lucky shot.

"I doubt this inn doesn't have locks. It seems pretty good." Noctis almost hadn't noticed Haveni's hand attached to his sleeve, turning around slightly to grin at her before looking back at Seir. He answered Seir with a lift of a brow, holding his hands out and shrugging helplessly. "Told you, you were a magnet Haveni. Even Seir thinks so!" He pointed out, a smirk in his tone. Although Seir hadn't exactly said it in those words, it was the same meaning.
"No worries this time. Unless you want to switch Rosel out and room with me? You know I won't mind." He said cheerfully, knowing he might get slapped or chided for the remark. But it was typical of him. He hadn't noticed who exactly was in their area.. Much less, the realization of several enemies in their area. Of course, Noctis held a one-track mind that way.
Shoot. He had forgotten his goal for the nearest brothel. Damnit. And dinner was coming up soon. As much as he would have enjoyed company, it wasn't worth skipping dinner.

It was strange, and rather odd to see the constellation act in this manner considering the times she had seen him before this. He seemed to be a different person every time she turned around,. Then again, Haveni was kind of like that too...all three times she'd seen her, she seemed like a different person. At least to her, but it wasn't of major concern. But pushing that aside, she could only wonder what was going on in the constellations head. She was sure she wasn't in the least bit intimidating, could it have been the innocence of her question? Did everything have to be a complicated mess for people to communicate understandingly these days? It seemed simple was further away from even idle chatter then she thought. But even with all this circling around in her mind, she perked up at the answer. Aeos
She'd gotten the answer to her question, but she was far too curious why it seemed so difficult to deliver such a simple answer. Of course there was more reason then that though that drove her curiosity. But even with that, she figured it was best not to try and...push on something else. For now anyway. At his question, she simply gave a soft nod. "That's right..." she said not following his gaze it appeared to have drifted off to the others behind her. It wasn't exactly her concern, so she didn't worry about that either. Seemed like she didn't worry about much in the world when she thought about it.
Rylia shook her head. "No...nothing else." she answered Aeos as it seemed he had to leave. Probably to regroup with everyone else. "For this meeting that is..." she said, a small smile in the back of her mind as she looked back at Kiru and then up towards the sky. "Seems...things are slowly...progressing.." she thought. She had become so engrossed in her thoughts earlier, she had forgotten about the conversation Haveni was having, and then the new voice joining them...and then that woman too. She shook her head and then slowly headed down towards the beach, whispering. "I'm sure...your companions are waiting..."
