Zia merely shrugged, long since having gotten used to the adults' playful natures. "They're just stupidly in love. It's kind of cute."
Faolan grinned as his father came out. "Da, we wanted t' come visit."
"I can see tha'. Gi' me tha'un," Keagan said, pointing to Sam. After Faolan surrendered the infant to him, the large man headed back inside, motioning them to follow. He sat down on the bed, rocking the baby in his arms. "What brings you both here? You cannae exactly be showin' off th' bairns. I wis there when they got born."

"Well," Ellandra said softly, cuddling Bel as the little baby whimpered in her arms. "We wanted to know if you had any ideas on how to help the little ones with their horns coming in. . . and," she paused to take a deep breath and smiled a bit. "I. . . well, we thought you'd like to know that there's another on the way."

Keagan reached out a hand and slapped Faolan across the back of his head. "Are you part-rabbit, lad? What th' hell's wrong wi' you?"
"These things just happen," Faolan offered, rubbing his head. "I cannae help bein' so potent." He ducked another swat to the head. "Seriously, though. Any suggestions on easin' their pain any wi' their horns comin' in?"
"Bourbon," Keagan said. "Oh, you mean fae th' babies. Well, ice always worked fae you an's a couple o' herb poultices fae pain relief. Massagin' helped you a lot, too."

Ellandra giggled and snuggled up against her husband with a smile. "I think it's partially my fault, though, wouldn't you say?" she asked with a teasing smile. Meanwhile, Rhian looked at Kelly and smiled at him. "Come on, Kelly, you need to talk to Mr Keagan some, he hasn't seen you with your nice haircut that Mama gave you, yet!"

Kelly came forward, eyes down. "Hello, sir."
"Nae need t' be shy, lad. W're all family here," Keagan said, ruffling the boy's hair. "Your momma did a fair job on your haircut."

"And there you go messing it up," Ellandra said, smiling at Kelly and smoothing his hair back into place once Keagan was done ruffling it. "There, sweetheart, it's alright, truly." A gentle hug and another smile were her ways of trying to reassure the little boy some more.
Meanwhile, Rhian was looking around at the interior of Keagan's vardo, wondering what everything was and what it did. "What do you do all of the time that you visit here, Sibling-Ziazan...?"

Zia shrugged. "Drink beer and talk. I like hearing stories about Faolan. I can see his memories and Granda's, but sometimes it's more fun to listen to recounts."
Faolan just rolled his eyes, plopping down next to his father. "You got any o' them herb poultices?"
"Nae, but Ol' Maisy's likely t' make a few up fae you if you ask her nicely," Keagan said, cradling Sam in one arm to tickle the infant's tummy with his free hand. "I cannae get o'er how much th' lad looks like you." He glanced at Kelly. "They both do, really. Bel, though, she got her mother's looks stamped on her truly.'

"Beer?" Rhian echoed, wrinkling her nose. "But beer is gross!" She paused for a moment, then sighed a bit wistfully. "I'd like to hear stories sometime too, though. . . I think it would be nice. . ."
Ellandra smiled a bit and shook her head. "Not entirely, Keagan. After all, I don't have horns, and from what I can tell with her this little, I doubt she's ever going to have freckles like I do." Still., the resemblance was uncanny in some ways. Just how come she and Faolan seemed to have clone-children? That was a bit on the unusual side, to be sure.

"Sam looks like he'll get freckles, though," Keagan remarked, looking down at his tiny grandson. "He's all little like Fao wis, too. Might be a bit on th' frail side like his da." He looked up at his daughter-in-law. "Might be your fae blood an' his demon blood tha's got them lookin' so much like you. After all, you're a spittin' image o' your own dam. I donnae know who Fao's parents wis, but I'm sure he takes after his sire, too."
Zia nudged Rhian good-naturedly. "You don't have to drink, but you can always come listen."

"Perhaps," Ellandra said quietly, gently poking Bel in the tummy and then paying for it by a vicegrip on her finger. "But wouldn't it be interesting if the next little one looks completely different from his or her siblings?"
Rhian looked at Ziazan, surprised and please. "Really? I could come listen?" She paused a moment, then looked at Kelly. "Maybe you could come and listen, too, Kelly!"

"Oh, I'm sure you two got enough genetics there fae some o' your brood not t' be clones," Keagan chuckled.
Kelly nodded, muttering a quiet "I'd like tha'." as Faolan patted his hair.

"I do hope so," Ellandra said, a silly little smile spreading across her face. "Imagine Farstep overrun with dozens of miniature Faolans......... actually, I rather like that idea." Her gaze misted over a bit as she thought about seeing little Faolans everywhere, and she absently stroked the velvety hair on Bel's head - and was that a tint of red it was acquiring? "Hm, Faolan, it looks like she's taking a bit after you after all," she said, blinking and plucking a bit at the longer strands of wavy hair, examining the reddish tint they were starting to acquire.
Rhian giggled and smiled at Kelly, taking his hand. "Won't it be fun, Kelly? We'll get to hear lots of funny stories!"

"I think one Faolan is more'n enough fae any carnival or clan," Keagan said, eyeballing his son. "You sire anymore clones, lad, an' I'll hae you fixed. I ain't e'en jokin'."
Kelly smiled a bit. "Would be nice t' hear about me da an' get t' know him more."

"Can we at least have a few more chances before you drag my husband off to a surgeon, please, Keagan?" Ellandra asked, looking at Keagan with sad eyes. Forget Faolan's thoughts on the subject at hand, she didn't want to lose that........... well, nevermind. A blush rose to her cheeks at the mere thought.
Rhian smiled some more and danced a little in place. "Won't it be fun? I never get to hear any silly stories about Mama when she was little, she must have been a perfect child or something. . . "
Hearing that comment from her flutterby, Ellandra suddenly found the ceiling to be something very intriguing to look at.

Faolan crossed his legs. "Ain't a body cuttin' anythin' off me wi'out me say so. I wanna hae a lot o' bairns an' I donnae care if they look like me or not, so long as they're mine."
"Fair enough," Keagan chuckled, reaching over to clap Faolan on the shoulder. He glanced at Rhian. "Oh, th' stories I could tell you kids. Ain't many, but they're good."
