"No," said the hawk, turning away from the direction they had pointed. "It's not safe, I'm taking you to the Watch House instead. They'll take good care of you two th-- aah!" He shouted as he felt something jammed into his talon, and his grip faltered as he swayed and swerved in the air.
The little knife had failed to even break skin, but it had surprised him sufficiently that he'd yanked his leg up and torn the hood off Abigail's cloak, and she was falling swiftly to the ground-- followed by her brother, whose hood had ripped while Tibarn was struggling to regain balance. "N-no!" He turned, looking around to catch the two, but they were already lost in the crowded streets. "No, no no no!"

Before the paladin could question the woman what she meant, she noticed something odd around her. Looking down, Isadora saw that the water were beginning to form around her.
Tuomas let out a neigh as he moved closer to his owner. Hearing her horse, Isadora spun around and hoisted herself onto Tuomas. Tuomas rose on his hind legs before beginning to gallop and jumped over the moat.
Alarmingly by the site, Isadora wondered if it was the woman's working. If it was, then her instincts was telling her that the woman was insane. She must be a magic user if she was able to control the water.
Isadora pulled her spear from her horse's side and gripped it. It looked like she had to stop this mad woman. Isadora snapped the reins as Tuomas let out a battle cry. The paladin was then charging forward toward the woman. Isadora spun her spear around.
As she got close to the woman, Isadora gave a quick jab toward the woman with the blunt end of the spear. The paladin was unsure if this was knock the woman

Without moving a muscle, Rad was pushed back about 4 feet and dodged the blunt spear end. The wind redirected and pushed her. The water calmed down, and stayed in the big puddle.
"Better than questions, right?" she teased. "Tell me, when it rains, does it pour?" The water puddle drifted up into the atmosphere and sloshed around as if it were weightless. Cylindrical, it fell with great weight onto Isadora.
Her eyes observed, ever sullen.

Rei chuckled, shaking his head. That fight went from an interesting distraction to a series of fire and screams of "JASPER!" and then... yeah. He gave a cursory glance towards the bird in the skies, likely Tibarn, and the two masses that dropped from his grip. Poor guy, he musta been holding something slippery. But, the Hawk King was more than capable of handling whatever happened, so he returned to the fiasco unfolding in front of him. The 'victor', one especially disturbed looking mage, was babbling on like he was as insane as the passerby.
The passerby were quite insane, in their own right, of course. One was almost streaking, and the tremors as they walked weren't exactly making it any better. Luckily, the fireballs both scared the behemoth away and distracted Rei from the revolting image. Another one was a grown woman, dressed like a giant baby, bawling as her child, dressed in a business suit, dragged her away. What in the world would cause the people's sanities to go to shambles like this? Ah, whatever, it was fun to watch. And nobody was hurt, hopefuly. If they were... he didn't wanna think about that. Hysteria would spread, people would revolt- Dammit, he thought about it!
Rei just put a hand to his face, shaking his head as he ignored Derrin's random question at nobody in particular (because 'them' makes no sense when there's no aim coming before it). He'd left his room for this, really? He'd much rather have gone with that party who ventured to the deserts, if he knew the fools would be venturing in full force. Regardless, he was done here. He gave a small wave to the pair of wyvern riders before standing up and walking down a street. Staying in one place seemed to invite the crazy people, so going for a little walk would be nice to stop that.
(Gah, failpost.)

IC:The druid walked away with out answearing him. And a vein nearly popped in his temple. "Tch fool." He thought as he walked away. Striding up to face Valter he looked the knight in the eye.
"So why didn't you help? Were you his ally?"

Valter was probably getting annoyed with this guy, and Heath definitely was. "Hey, if you don't cool off your hotheaded temper, I'm going to cool it off where the oxygen doesn't follow."

"Cool me off?" Derrin asked. "You sat on your asses while I fought that lunatic! Didn't you once think hey he could use a hand!"
Derrin was pissed off and still steaming. "Well come on if your not on his side then we should look for him... he could hurt someone." Not that Derrin actually cared if he hurt someone... Derrin just wanted to finish the job he started. He turned away from the two knights and started off in the direction Jasper had come from when he was suddenly beset by a coughing fit.
Dark thick blood spattered the cobblestones as Derrin doubled over hacking and wheezing for air. It wasn't anything Jasper had done and he knew it.
"Maybe I pushed it a little too hard." He thought as the world started going black and he fell on the stones.

"We sat on our a** because you rushed headlong. He didn't attack us because we didn't attack him. It would have been a mutual conflict if he had just said his 2 cents and went on, but you didn't let it go, so THAT'S why we sat on our asses," he explained.

{D: I almost forgot about Leon.} I ain't givin' in, no matter how hard th' fight before me looks t' be!
>{Leon}< Aran too had decided that he was not going to fall for one of the oldest criminal tricks in the book. This was a very good thing, at least the Constable was armed with a little street smarts. It was crucial in a still very much crime-heavy Eyris, but anyone who'd lived here years before FEF could say it was worse.
"Now." Leon spoke to Kersigor, whom was caught trying to do his trick, or maybe not. Everyone WAS going insane in Eyris, weren't they? Maybe the man was delusional. "Are ya seein' thin's on th' ground? Me an' Aran 'ere see nothin'..."
So far, this... odd man hadn't tried to attack him and Aran. If he were hostile, wouldn't he have done so already? Maybe Kersigor wasn't violent, but this didn't mean Leon was dropping his weapon. It just meant he could talk calmly, for now. "I think yer hallucinatin', sir. Ya better follow ev'ryun' else t' quar'ntine.">{Watch Lieutenant}< If ya just bel'eve, then... ev'n if th' world be torn asunder, vict'ry will be yers to hold!

Isadora felt the wind trying to push her off her saddle. However, she kept her seat firmly while holding the reins tightly. It would take more than a little magic to knock her off her horse.
She then heard the woman asking her a silly question. The paladin didn't reply the answer. Why bother answered the question if someone was insane?
Isadora turned her horse around and charged. As she galloped, she felt the weight falling onto her. Tuomas neighed in surprised. The paladin felt the wetness splashing onto her and her horse, making them slower to gallop. Isadora had a slight trouble breathing and trying to see where she was going as the water continued to splash her. It was as if she had tried to ran underneath a waterfall.
However, the paladin continued urging her horse to move onward. She was not going to let some water stop her from doing her job. Isadora kept her head low as she charged, helping her to breath well under the weight of the water splashing on her head.
She had to stop this mad woman, but how? She had a feeling that the woman was a magic user. How else would she manipulate the water? But the woman wasn't carrying a tome. Could it be another object that she was using? Was it that pipe the woman use?
Wondering whether it would work or not, Isadora charged toward the woman. She then flipped her spear around so that the spear head was facing toward the woman. As she got near the woman again, she thrust her spear toward the woman's chest. However, the woman's chest was not what she was aiming.
When her spear was close enough toward the woman's chest, Isadora twirled her spear. The spearhead made a connection to the pipe the woman was holding, making them entangled with each other. Isadora then swung her arm upward. The pipe flung out of the woman's hands and twirled into the air before dropped to the floor. The woman was now weaponless. But did it stop the water pouring onto the paladin? If that didn't work, the paladin would knock the woman out cold to make it stop.

Shinon walked towards Derrin's unconscious body. "What the hell happened to him?" Shinon asked to Heath and Valter. Shinon prodded him with his bow and smirked. "Looks like he overdid it...." Shinon sat down on a barrel and sighed. "What the hell is going on here anyways?"

"Don't know, don't care... He was an idiot." Heath said.
With her pipe out of her hand, she now had more of a reason to fight and get mad. With the water in place, it was now easier to manipulate Isadora because she was heavier.
Strong blasts of wind hit Isadora, and the gravity seemed to change, making her lighter. With Isadora pushed far enough, Rad picked the pipe back up and said, "I'm going to beat you senseless, knight... You have your warning." The water that fell pooled into another puddle, and it was held in place by steady streams. Part if it erected, rather sloppily, and swirled around like a playful worm.

The fight was over. The man that liked to yell "Jasper" had disappeared, and the other man was struggling to stay on his feet. Valter was still laughing, but he was trying to make himself stop. It was fun and all, but it was over. He had to control himself. So after a few seconds, he managed to contain himself.
When Derrin asked him why he didn't help, however, he had to let out a short chuckle. He silently scolded himself, then gave the mage his response. "I would have loved to help, but I didn't know which side to take. And honestly, I was having fun watching you two mess around." Be grateful, Valter thought. If I had joined, I probably would have taken the other guy's side.
Before Valter was graced with the mage's response, however, Derrin collapsed. He almost started laughing again, but he just grinned and shook his head.

Lethe rubbed her temples as she walked. A headache started to bother the laguz woman. Her energy was slightly drained so she couldn’t transform and escape this chaos sooner. She cursed under her breath because of how much this city was like a maze.
Suddenly her feline ears perked up underneath her hood. “Water?” Something about it sounded wrong though. There weren’t any flames hissing after being put out after each sploshing sound. What the hell was that mage doing at a time like this? Obviously not making good use of their time and resources. Lethe ran in that direction as fast as her legs would carry her. True the cat strongly disliked water, but she hated fire even more.
Upon reaching her destination, the captain of Gallia’s guard spotted two beorc women fighting; one a magic user and the other a paladin. The knight appeared to be a part of the castle guard. The element wielder looked like a peasant. Lethe felt obligated to help beorc paladin. This woman she was facing must be one of the many insane citizens.
Perhaps this was a good opportunity to let out her frustration that the deranged people caused. With the element of surprise on her side, Lethe charged at her prey. The feline laguz had hoped that by tackling the magic user she would gain enough energy to transform.

((Heath, I was going to wait for you to explain what the heck is going on with the water, but I had to wing it due to not having enough time today. ._.;
EDIT: Edit on Lethe.))
Before the paladin was about to spin her weapon and knocked the woman out cold, she felt the weight of the pressure became heavier. Isadora struggled to fight against it, but it was becoming difficult. It was as if she was fighting against gravity.
Suddenly, she felt the weight above her became lesser. What's going on? Isadora wondered. However, she had no time to think it over. She had to stop this madwoman.
Unfortunately, not only did the weight had become less, but she also feel become lighter too. It nearly made the paladin flew off of her saddle. Isadora hung tightly onto the reins while digging her feet into the stir-ups. Felt the weight of his master becoming lesser and feared that she would be blown away, Tuomas neighed and moved backward as he followed the wind direction, trying to keep his master in her saddle.
Isadora struggle to stay in her seat while trying to get Tuomas to move forward. However, the wind was making difficult for her to get in control of her horse. Suddenly, the wind die down. Isadora was now able to move freely. However, she saw that the woman had her weapon back.
"Warning?" Isadora repeated annoyingly as she hoisted her spear again. "Clearly, you didn't give me any warning when you attacked me first. I don't know what's your problem toward me, but it's more clearly that I need to knock some sense into you."
The paladin kicked her stir-ups. Tuomas neighed out the battle call before began to charge. Isadora raised her shield in front of her as she held her spear firmly. As she was charging, she saw a person in cloak charging at the woman. That person was moving in quicker than Isadora was. She didn't understand why that person suddenly decided to attack the woman. Was that person crazy too? However, she thanked St. Elimine to give her the help she needed to stop the deranged woman.
