At the mention of pudding, Void crossed his arms and frowned, sitting himself down on the swirling mass of the footvoid. Of course. Being stuck there meant no pudding.
It seemed like such a small thing to be upset over, not having pudding, especially for someone like Void. Void had an ingrown hate for almost everything. However, pudding was the twin to books, ranking as one of the few things he acknowledged as even semi-important.
He mulled over the no-pudding factor as Heratik inspected the ice dome. His attention was not fully on the sharp toothed being, and, as Heratik vanished, Void found himself just a bit unsettled by the dread that seemed to emit from him.
Now unable to return to his thoughts of pudding, Void noticed Polly roaming the room before leaving to another. He made a mental note to question her later, as she seemed all to familiar with the place. His eyes lingered on the spot where Polly was for a moment longer before Ignace's confused cry caused him to turn and look at him, the scowl always fixated upon his face deepening into an annoyed frown.

Altair moved down the halls until he reached a large open area, signs of battle were left on the ground and walls, from what he could tell. There was a single man in the room, he seemed rather short, but at the sametime rather powerful. Altair didn't make allies, but if it ment he'd last longer he'd do it, besides he could just backstab them later. his entry into the room was completly silent, no sound of footsteps, no breathing or heartbeats to give him away, the only thing was that aura of madness that raideted invisably from his body constantly. He wasn't going to attack this man without getting a gauge of his power. He wiggled his fingers togeather, causing the razor blades to click togeather.

As Mr. Patches's arm swung down towards Joesph his head exploded. His body became limp and was thrown slightly back at the force of the projectiles. His pumpkin head was an orange pile of mush except for, weirdly enough, the majority of his face. He still had his burning, unblinking eyes and most of his creepy smile. His body crumpled on the ground infront of Joesph. The remains of his head hit the floor with a sickening wet plop. His body sounded like someone dropping a burlap sack full of straw, and there was two loud metal clangs as his sickles clattered to the floor.

Leyward helped Chryseis up and then began walking back towards the mansion. "Come on, I don't know when that scarecrow thing will be back and I don't want to know. Then again, I don't think we'll be any safer inside than outside."

Chryseis looked around. "I doubt it's safe anywhere, if you really think about it, unless we take care of the criminals!" She scoffed. "And I doubt there's ACTUALLY a scarecrow. Even Jack has limits to his ridiculosity and illusions!"

Leyward stopped before one of the doors and turned around to Chryseis. "What are you talking about? Of course theres a scarecrow! Didn't you see it before we fought that vacuum guy and the candy witch? He walked right past us! He stuffed two bodies in the freaking fireplace! HE TIPPED HIS HAT TO US!! Of course he's real! And he's wandering around and killing the service staff and god knows who else!" Leyward stopped and stood there for a moment breathing heavily. He lowered his eyes and wiped his forehead. "S-sorry I yelled...Im just...really nervous...."

Chryseis shrugged,ussed to crazy outbursts. "Well, if he's killing people, he's a criminal." She turned around, walking towards where she guessed the scarecrow was. "Therefore, he must be apprehended at all costs. The safety and further evolution of the human race rests on a hero's shoulders, and I don't want them risking that!"

"Hehe you're really into the whole hero goody two shoes thing aren't you? Well I guess Im kind of like that too." "What should we do now? Do you want to go after him?" Leyward thought for a moment. "Do you know anybody here who could help us? All you seem to know are people who don't care for you to much."

"Well," Chryseis said, "I'm sure there are others here, but I doubt they're good either..." She headed in the same direction. "Such criminals deserve punishment."

Joesph blinked and wipped abit of the pumpkin that had splatterd him, off his lenses. He ejected the clip and slid a new one in then slid a ninth round into the chamber. He slid the pistol and knife back into place. He picked abit of the pumpkin gore off himself and tossed it onto the floor. He pulled his smg off his back and nudged the body abit with his boot. No reaction, Joesph relaxed he turned and started walking away. He pulled the clip out of his SMG then took out 5 rounds and refilled the clip before sliding it back into place and pulled the hammer back. He didn't even look back, and why should he, the things head was gone, not much anything could do without it's head.

If Joesph had looked back at the body, he would have noticed that the flames in the pumpkin's eyes still glowed, like in a jack o lantern.
~~~
A little while after Joesph had left, the bits and chunks of the smashed pumpkin head started to roll, slither, and crawl back towards the burning eyes and the smiling face. Each little piece slowly converged on the shattered head, moving like insects eager to get to their hive. Soon, the last chunk of pumpkin had fitted itself back into place. What was once a mass of orange goo was now, again, the grinning head of Mr. Patches. As the head was reforming, the body slowly rose up, not using its hands or arms, lifting itself back up like a marionette. By the time the head was whole, the body was once again upright and hunched over. One long arm ending with long wicked branches reached down, and gently picked up the head. The body put the head back onto it's shoulder's, with the soft rustling of straw and cloth. Mr. Patches reached down and picked up his hat, placing it back on his head. "Ohhhh.....I really...hate it when....they do that.....that one certainly.....knowsss how to....sssqurim...I can't wait...to put him....to sssleep..." Mr. Patches re-adjusted his hat for a minute before his smile widened. His grin was so wide it looked like it would spilt his head in two.
(( I totally think Altair and Mr Patches should fight at somepoint ))
It seemed like the man wasn't noticing him. Altair turned and went down a different hallway. He ran the razor blades over the walls, making shallow cuts. He walked in his limp, He guess that his body, or rather what had been left, didn't heal after the point he'd died of lack of oxygen when they'd buried him. He forgot when someone had broken his leg, perhaps between whe he'd been shot and stabbed...or maybe when they'd drag him to be burned...or drowned. His memory had always been weak, perhaps that's why he had felt no remorse for killing all those people. He couldn't remember them all. Now he remembered. His leg had been broken twice, one to the drowning, then rebroken to be buried.
Joesph walked into what looked like the dining area. He sat down on one of the chairs and put his feet up on the table, then put his hands behind his head, and closed his eyes to relax abit. All the while his ears on full alert.
Leyward began walking down the hall. "Gosh, its so dark in here. Let me see if I can do anything about that." Leyward held up his right hand and it glowed brightly. A blue glow soon filled up the area they were in. "There we go! I haven't forgotten all of my OTHER wizard spells!" So, where should we go Chryseis?"
Chryseis thought about this. "I'm not sure. I want to avoid that candywitch right now,but I also want her disposed of... there's also that boy with thesleeves..."
"Oh shi-" Wadsworth didn't even finish the sentence when the bed hit him in the chest, splattering his upper body against the walls and floor of the room. His legs were left standing awkwardly near Abomination, and they turned and walked out of the room, with a greenish smear following the disembodied legs out.
~*~*~*~*~
Ignace stared at Void, eyes glowing in counterpoint to Void's annoyed glare. "Y-you can see me?" He threw himself at the footvoid. "You can see me, you can see me, you can see me!"
Void stared down at Ignace, floating a little bit higher on the footvoid, away from the man who had just thrown himself at it.
He studied him for a moment, arms crossed and dark bagged eyes taking in every detail of the man, before answering him.
"Yes, I can see you," he said. His eyes were now on the footvoid, as he had uncrossed his arms and was now searching around in it for a book to read.
