As the Blue moved into the stands, Panata watched with curious amazement. He hadn't heard of Stands Impressions happening often, so wasn't it a good thing that he was around to get to see it occur? He was feeling pretty happy to have been brought here now, eve if it meant he'd left the Hall.

It was good to see the little bronze show himself again – Mishaal hated to think that maybe he wasn’t patient after all and was considering going Between, so, very good - and oddly endearing to see the newly hatched blue check on the egg it’d rested against when he was an egg himself. This was a personable bunch of hatchlings so far, that was for sure!
And a stands impression too? This clutch would be remembered for more than breaking Dorath’s Curse!
*
Kestra bit her lip, her one fidgety motion as she stood on the sands and watched. She still wasn’t feeling too nervous or anything but inaction was not her style. Nothing much to do but wait. If she’d been up in the stands she’d have been chatting away, maybe munching on a snack and with Orla and her friends to occupy her. Here she just had to wait.
And speaking of the stands! There went a blue!

The dragonet stayed put, moving only his eyes. Eventually, he climbed up into the stands, patiently waiting for everyone to move out of his way rather than just pushing through them. That would be rude, and this blue was not rude.
The people on the stands moved to make room, creating a path which the blue followed along until he'd found his. At some point, he stopped in front of Amelia, turning to give the young lady a very interested look. He smiled, shook his head--if it was in amusement or he had changed his mind about something was hard to tell--and kept going.
Almost... Almost...
There.
Yawning, Kalth stretched out beside his chosen rider, giving him an odd look if he so much as made the slightest attempt to move elsewhere. A lovely day, Raffertymine, he said smoothly. I am hungry, but we will wait. --Oh, I am Kalth.

Such an endearingly lazy little Blue! Gyl smiled as Kalth flopped over next to His in the Stands, silently congratulating the newly formed pair. It was good to see that none of the dragonets had gone between, and that they were all Impressing safely. Speaking of dragonets, where was that little Bronze? Still in his shell, Gyl noted, though he could've sworn he saw him poke his head up a while ago. Silly little thing, didn't he know that His was somewhere out here, not in there?

And there it was, from the looks of things. The blue dragonet looked kind of silly up there in the stands, perched like a tunnelsnake among the wherries, calmly staring down some poor, surprised soul. Her shock was replaced with nervous relief though, when everything was done with no bloodshed.
Aiyisha even allowed herself to scan the stands for a glimpse of her bloodparents. Her dad was no among the faces she looked to, but her rider mother was there. It was likely she heard her daughter was standing at hatching, but it wasn't Aiy who had told her. As far as she knew, the woman didn't or couldn't distinguish her amongst those there. Even so, a thought of waving to her crossed her mind, yet she refrained from the likely awkward situation that'd bring later. No, better to let her mother enjoy and bask in her memories of when she Impressed.
The girl turned back to the eggs, trying to spy the peek-a-boo bronze amongst those left, but he was too good at this game.

Jaylin snorted and shook his head, uncrossing his arms when the blue flopped down next to someone. Ha! Bet there's a scramble in the stands now, he thought with a grin, turning his attention from people shifting here and there to claim new seats to the dragons.
He scanned the eggs, glancing at the bronze. "Patient one," he muttered softly, resting one of his hands on his hip and shifting his stance. Man, if HE was that dragon, would he try to step over the eggs and find His? He doubted he would sit still like the bronze was, waiting for his clutchmates to hatch before moving.
But for now... He rocked back and forth on his heels then stopped, coloring when he remembered he was being watched. It was so easy to forget everything when the dragons moved! Jaylin coughed, then forced himself to settle down and wait.

Makereth very successfully lead the way and Uuni was soon seeing Raysan feed Regedth a hunk of meat.
Makereth himself was very interested in eating, too, but he was more interesting in spreading around his fame first. The small blue flopped himself down next to Regedth and thumped his tail lightly before cooing back in Uuni's direction as she stepped her way up, still in shock, and gave a movement of fingers in Raysan's direction.
Did you see their faces!? Makereth asked, nudging Uuni with mental hunger as he urged Regedth to give him praise. They thought it was the Queen!
And it was while Makereth was busy advertising himself that Uuni realized she had a problem. The idea of touching it -- the bloody, smelly meat, that was -- wasn't appealing to her senses.
Makereth glanced in her direction, his thoughts towards Regedth abandoned once again in light of His's silliness. It is food, Uunimine! It is easy, watch! And do dismay of Uuni, he hopped up onto his feet, and then onto his hind legs to steal a few choice morsels from the table - it was what Regedth was eating, so of course, it was perfect for him, too.
He put one at Uuni's feet and told her to try some. Uuni looked quite doubtful, but picked up the piece and held onto it. Makereth's joy over the item made it seem a little less gross.
And it was about that time that the people were parting for the blue that had recently hatched. She kept one eye on Makereth and one eye in the other direction. Stands Impression? This would be a first, at least in her lifetime. She settled down next to Makereth as he ate, one hand scratching idly behind his horn-like protrusions at the back of his head. The shock was taking a while to wear off.

There was a feeling of appreciation and warmth in the air, especially for those who knew Rafferty. The Weyrleader smiled from where he was watching, shaking his head. All he could think was: Unbelievable. This was a clutch of dreams, he decided. But soon, it would seem more like one of nightmares.
The Seaside Egg gave a jerk. Then another. After the third, the shell broke open and a bronze stumbled out, screeching at the top of his lungs. Hissing, snarling and snapping, he turned to look at the Sunset Egg. Outraged by the mere sight of it, he whipped his tail around and sent his unhatched clutchmate in a chaotic roll toward the male candidates. The Blinding Red Egg narrowly avoided being crushed, forced off to the side.
D'astel's eyes went wide. That strong already?!
This didn't look good at all.

Janga jumped when a second bronze hatched, announcing its arrival to the whole sands. Just look at him! Despite the fact that she knew she would never Impress him, she still stood a little taller to get a better look. Now that was a real dragon! It was refreshing to see that at least one of the clutches' unknown number of bronzes could stand up for himself. He was even taking it out on his clutchmates and sending them rolling! Atta boy! That bright red egg almost took quite a nasty beating too. This hatching was about to get good. Finally!
Her lips twisted in some kind of a sneering grin, as she waited to see where this bronze was headed. The boys better dive out of the way of this one. It was certainly no stumbling green just looking for Hers. This one was definitely a Mauler.

Amoreth took an inadvertent step forward--not so much so to be properly noticed, but it was a reflexive gesture. The anger of the Dragon penetrated her just as wholly as the joy of the others had. No, he did not look too fond of the Sunset egg at all as he flicked it away from himself with his powerful tail. This did not bode well--it'd be a strong man that could calm this oddly beautiful bronze beast.
She watched as the Blinding Red egg wobbled to the side, and, upon seeing it unharmed, she instantly moved her sights onto the Sunset egg. It appeared unscathed, but it was headed right for the men. She silently pleaded with the egg to stop before it crashed against them, eager to run forth to try to help it, but knowing it would interrupt the proceedings, she kept her place. That bronze wasn't a happy Dragon, that much was obvious. The loud snapping sound from his jaws as he produced unearthly angry sounds sent a shiver down her spine.

Oh Shards, that wasn't good. Gylren wasn't sure whether to get out of the way as fast as he could or to stand his ground and hope that the fury of the raging Bronze would be directed somewhere else. This was definitely not good at all, and Gylren's thoughts mirrored that of D'astel as his eyes locked on the charging Bronze.
Oh no, this was not good.

Oh, shards and shells, this was BAD.
Kamihan moved instinctively forward as the egg rolled towards them, feeling fear clutch at his throat. Sure, the eggs weren't soft anymore, and the dragonets within them were presumably ready to hatch... but the blow that the newly-hatched bronze had dealt his brother's egg looked powerful. What if the dragonet inside was injured? What if the egg hit something? Granted, it would most likely hit either another egg or a Candidate, but still...
He couldn't help but move towards the chaotically rolling egg, just a step or two. Not trying to touch it or anything, just... there. In case he was needed.

"LOOK OUT!"
The flying egg was enough to snap Ayisha into a super alert frame of mind, causing her to call out and reach a hand as though wishing her grasp could stop the unhatched egg's path to possible destruction. She took a step forward towards the boy's out of instinct, but the angry bronze made her think again. What if the bronze wanted to maul her for being in the way? Ayi had never SEEN such a fierce bronze hatchling.

Trista gasped as the bright egg she had liked so well was nearly bowled over by it's agitated clutch mate. This one worried her a bit and she shifted her stance so that she could move should he for some reason send more eggs spinning in the girl candidate's direction. She couldn't think of a reason he'd come here himself but it didn't hurt to be alert. This second bronze looked as if he was rearing for trouble.

Sellae jumped as the angry bronze spilled from the Seaside Egg. Well this wouldn't be good! She stared over at the boys, biting her lip in worry for them. Whoever got this one would find themselves in possession of something delicious next she had kitchen duty.
She didn't even realize her subconscious screaming that no, she would not Impress; she stiffened her back, glancing at the unhatched eggs. No, there would be no negativity. She had the same chance as any other here.
She shuddered again, looking at the bronze and his rage- no, this... would turn out well. She unclenched her hands forcibly, relaxed her white lips.
She was glad, right now, that she wasn't a boy.
