Just got back from camping. The coyotes were singing not 100 yards from our camp. It was majestic, and the clear night sky, coupled with the slow way the flame was dancing was so romantic. Cest tres magnifique~

But both are correct. He obviously said "It is beautiful". The place is still there so it applies. It's not like he was talking about the Roman Empire, which is obviously long gone.
It's as if someone says "So I went to the mall and it had lights and the arcade and a petting zoo. It rocks!". It still applies and you can still understand what it means.
Just thought I'd throw that out there. No need to get to technical about it anyway.

Living in France for 8 months taught me a lot, mon cheri.

Im sure you people are tired of hearing it, but its time for another Kain the hero story.
Last night there was about 8 people in the alleyway arguing among themselves, fist where thrown, but it quickly died down to small arguing and chest puffing. My roommate Don was freaking out " Arnold do something. Kick some a**" he made all sorts of excuses why I should have done something, but I didnt. " I have nothing to do with this. Punk high school kids being high school kids.
Well this boy, Clint a good friend of my younger brother was one of the kids involved. Still not enough for me to worry. He was being held back by his dad, while this much older much larger kid taunted him to come out.
I was cool with that. Until Clints mother tried to talk to the kid edging on Clint. He pushed her and before you could say " Do!" I was over the fence charging the ********. I smashed him with a headbutt and his body body blowed me. I knocked him in the ribs back and he was down. I felt bad, because I took boxing ( I was silver glove) and these kids were so much smaller then me, though around my age. Still 7 of them was too much. clints dad, a golden glove ex SEAL jumped in and saved my a**. We kicked a** and sent these kids off running like pricks. Clints mom was very thankful and Clint laughed about how me and his father saved the day. I dont drink normally, but his dad insisted I have a beer with him.
not only was it only fair to drink with my partner of tonight, but I was scared to tell him no. Thats saying a lot from me xD
