"Damien, do you mind if I let our Mages look at this to see if it is a portal, or summoning apparatise? " She looked over at Nico, and smiled. "Good Job child, you are a hard worker. YOu are human Yes?"

 Nico bowed,Thank you m'lady.Oh.Yes I am human.Nico thought it was a strange question to ask, but she heard rumors that the they were vampires.But she could never know if it was true or not.

Thats no problem but keep this in mind if I am the Damien of old your son most likely my vampire powers are harnessed to that amulet if it were to drop I may cease to exist or be stuck like this forever.Just tell them to be carefull

One of the mages, nodded as Rose handed it to them, she threatened them with their life if they harmed it in anyway, and they knew she could do it. "Damien if they cannot get to the bottom of this amulet, I'm sure we have many old books that may have the answer to what it is, and what it can do. Nico, will you please make sure that my room is thoughly cleaned? The last maid didn't do a very good job at all. My room is up the stairs and around the corner, left side." She looked at Charles...did you hire her? She's human, I'm surprised if you did."

"Well mother, she intrigued me and she need a job. So I told her she can work for us." Charles was a little nerves, but he tried to remain calm.

Nico nodded,"I will m'lady."Nico got the cleaning equipment and went upstairs to Rose's room.She opened the door.Nico looked around her room,it was slightly dirty a bit dusty.She opened the window and decided to sweep the floor

Rose's eyebrow arched over her eye, "Then Charles, I will hold you responsible, there are those in this house that don't have control as you and I do. Keep her to the part of the house that we reside in, don't let her near the newbies, for they haven't the control around humans we do." Rose looked at Damien, examining him with her eyes trying to see if he indeed was her son. The eyes looked very similiar, almost an exact match, but it had been so long ago. She got up, and walked over to the libraries shelves, and pulled out a large book. She opened it, and there was a picture of Damien her son. She showed it to him. "Does this bring back anything? This is our families history. I turned Damien when he was 20, you look quite a bit younger." Vampires rarely have babies, in the normal sense, we turn people, and the people an ancient such as myself turn, I become their mother, responsible for them. We train them how to become vampires.

I remember something now a flashback if you would.One of the new vampires was feeding way more than he should.The village was starting to rise up an they were going to burn the house down.I decided to work as a distraction my mother Roselia Baron told me not to do it but I wanted to protect everyone .I snuck out got the villagers attention an led them away from the house. pretty soon they gave up looking for me I thought i was safe but then a wooden arrow went an peirced my heart.I fell over an was dying extremely close to it in fact.Then this lady saw me an noticed my amulet she chanted a spell an I noticed all my powers had left me an I lost my memory.Before i knew it i was in another time with no memory of my past an I was younger I was a little one.The lady found some parent for me an I was cared for an then the lady started aging she told me about a town in the past with amazing creatures the world hasn't seen since.I noticed her say I will be leaving you for awhile or maybe good but take this amulet it is yours.an thats all I remember now.All i know is i am here an it seems younger than I should be an a craving for extra rare meat

Rose puffed her pipe. "That is how it happened. In times past we did have time blending in, but the humans here are easy to glamour, and they don't remember if we slip up that is how we live among them in relative obscurity. In those days, I didn't know the spells to glamour. A witch that I turned taught me how to use my powers to hold a glamour spell over the entire village. Now they see us, but don't see us, hear us, but don't hear us. That human upstairs, when she leaves this house will only remember the cleaning, she will remember nothing that goes on in this house anything she sees out of the ordinary, she will promptly forget." She stood up and put her hand under his chin. She looked deep in his eyes, "Stay with us my son, but if you were sent to destroy me, I will know. we have had infiltrators before, the weres love to try to kill us, as do hunters. If you are one of them, I will know." She pulled him into an embrace. "If you are my son, you are oned I turned. If you are one I turned, you will be unable to resist when I command you as your maker, understood?" She let go of the embrace, and kissed his hands. "Welcome to the family."

Nico finshed cleaning the room.She cleaned every dirty, dusty spot in the room.She made the bed and wiped the windows.It was spotless and she wasn't tired.Nico toke the cleaning supplies and left the room and went downstairs and to Rose,"Umm...m'lady, I finished cleaning the room."

She remotely viewed her room and said, "wow very nice job. We have a guest, please make sure our guest room is ready for him, it is the room two doors down from mine. Damien, you will have that room from now on, with over 200 rooms this is our wing, only the family stay in this wing. Charles will show you where the newbies are, the freshies (humans from which we feed) and the entire mansion. We have all kinds of rooms both above and below. The Below rooms are for our protection and are the nerve center of our home. WereWolves, are our sworn enemie, they want to wipe our family out. They have recruited all kinds of creatures to help them. Calm down, they are not here now." She smiled, and hugged both her sons."Off with you now, I have work to do."
