Brooklyn Elizabeth Madison --------------------------------------------------------------------- Cause I’ve been housing all this doubt and insecurity. And I’ve been locked inside that house all the while you hold the key. And I’ve been dying to get out and that might be the death of me. And even though, there’s no way in knowing where to go, promise I’m going because,
--------------------------------------------------------------------- Brooklyn waved off Carlyle, but almost fell back over when she let go. She ended up leanining on his a bit, sighing at his half-yell. "You guys can't get caught with me hiding like a little baby." She whispered, her face stern.
She looked up, seeing the lights and closing her eyes tightly. "We gotta split up again, I know its probably not the smartest idea in the world but its easier to hide as two than four." She pointed to Kat, squinting to see that she was alright enough.
"Kyle, carry her. Go hide. We'll find you when this is all over. We can't risk the open field run to the lights," Of course, she was referring to Vegas. But she didn't know this.
--------------------------------------------------------------------- I gotta get outta here. Because I’m afraid that this complacency is something I can’t shake. I gotta get outta here. And I’m begging You, I’m begging You, I’m begging You to be my escape.

Kyle Tanner Crawford Kyle took the cloth from Kat after she grabbed it from Carl. He held it for her, "Relax darling," He whispered, very softly.
He looked over to Carl as he held up Brooklyn. He listened to the instructions, making sure he didn't look as freaked out as he was. "Okay," He took Kat into his arms, telling her not to worry. "Just ... like I said, relax." He pecked her cheek before peeking out of the alley and looking around. He could see the guards that had marched around his town all his life, only reconizing them from after the accident..but still. He knew that they had been around forever.
Kyle held onto Kat as he nodded his goodbyes to Brooklyn and Carlyle and he stepped out of the alleyway and ran towards the right. Eventually, he happened upon a cellar looking thing by an old (what looked like an abandoned house). He held onto Kat with one arm while he flipped the door open. Slowly, he stepped inside.

C a r l y l e .. H a n k .. O . ' H a r a Birds flying high.. you know how I feel. Sun in the sky... you know how I feel. Reeds drifting on by... you know how I feel. It's a new dawn, It's a new day, It's a new life... For me. And I'm feeling good. Carl had his arm back around Brook and helped to steer the both of them out of the alleyway and in the opposite direction that Kyle and Kat were headed.
They'd managed to escape the main searchlight, but it was by a few meters, barely. Carl looked around, not knowing where to go.
Ahead of them in the distance was a mass collection of bright lights, and he could only wonder what on earth it was. Around them now, apart from the sounds of sirens and searching guards, this seemed like the wasteland, empty space in comparison to the lively sights up ahead.
Carl looked around the corner as the approached the end of the road, and then crossed the street, walking them towards an old building with a big lettered sign on the front. one letter was missing, and another was hanging upside down, and of course, the lights were out, and looked like they had been for a long time. Cinema..?
Pushing through the glass door, they stepped onto the matted carpet floor and looked around. In front of them were more doors, with numbers on each of them, and stars around the numbers, along with a big booth of some sort in the center of the room.
Carl turned around and peeked out the hole in the top of the door where the glass had completely gone. "I think we're okay.."

"Close your eyes Bite your tongue And pretend you never Saw the sun rise Or heard a song sung With wistful wonder" -Omg A Name- Kathrine Jean Johnson :.Kat.:Ok, so Kyle told her to relax, but that was really a very hard thing to do. This wasn't really the type of environment you relaxed in, ya know?? Strange place you've never been to before, you have absolutely no idea where to go, what's going on, what's safe, if you will survive... not too mention the fact that their being chased by the people that wanted to bring them back and undoubtedly punish them.
Ok, thinking about all of that was NOT helping.
Kat could barely keep herself from hyperventilating until she buried her face against Kyle's chest and clung to him tightly.
Then... they weren't moving as quickly anymore, and she looked up and around. Oh this looked like a lovely place to spend the night, no? But they had to be hidden from the guards......
"H-how... long do we have to stay here..." she whispered nervously.

--------------------------------------------------------------------- Brooklyn was snuggled against Carl, trying not to lean all of her weight onto him as they snuck around the bright light above them. She was biting down on the inside of her lip.
They had hardly missed the light as they exited the alley and were heading into oblivion. They had no idea where they were, nor where they were getting themselves into.
She looked around, searching desperatly for a place to hide, but her eyes kept latching onto the distance. Those lights, their freedom.
Suddenly, she was pulled towards a building that looked as if it hadn't been used in years. No lights, broken letters. But before she could read what the sign even said, she was being dragged inside. There were doors, numbers on each. She looked around, confused and amazed.
"Okay," It was easier to walk down, the carpeted floor was much nicer than the gravel. She hadn't realized it til now- but she was missing a shoe. And for some reason, this was the funniest thing in the world. Brook couldn't stop laughing. She had to let go of Carl, clutch her stomach and let herself fall to the dirty floor she was laughing so hard.

Kyle Tanner Crawford Kyle had gently brought Kat inside with him, holding her tightly to his chest still. He looked around and carefully set her down on the bottom step, closing the doors above them.
"At least for the night," He unhooked the backpack from his shoulders and set it down as well. Surprisingly, he had forgotten about it. "Here," Kyle unzipped the pack and pulled out a water. Of course, it wasn't cold. But it would suffice. Then he yanked out a few small foods as well. And a blanket. "This is really all I have.." He muttered. Besides his clothes, but he didn't need a change of clothes right now. It'd be pointless.
Kyle fished around in the compartments of his backpack, eventually finding a flashlight. It was so dark down there they could hardly see eachother, if at all. He flicked it on and flashed it around teh room. It was an old wine cellar.

Carl looked around while Brook let go of him and looked down at her feet, which naturally of course, immediately set her into fits of laughter, getting progressively louder by the second. Carl watched in confusion as Brook fell to the carpet in a spasm of uncontrollable laughter. When he realized it was her lack of a shoe causing all the hilarity he couldn't help but smile.
He knelt down on the ground and brought his finger to his lips, holding back his own laughter now. "Ssh- no- we've gotta be- quiet." he whispered between silent laughs, looking down at the girl rolling around on the worn carpet.
If he paid any attention to himself, he'd notice that he looked just as much a laughable state as she. His shirt no longer had sleeves, and had acquired several rips and tears, and his jeans were now black with random scratches of gray from the gravel and green from the grass. His hair wasn't even worth mentioning, it was now just a fashionable mop on his head.

Neither of them looked particularly, yummy right now. But it didn't matter. The stress of the night thus far was piling up and this was their release. The moment of safety, with each other, just laughing.
Of course, she eventually started breathing..still giggling a bit. "I'm--Sorry--" She hiccupped. Brooklyn looked up at him and couldn't help but feel the laughter starting to erupt again.
The fact that she had to stop laughing and be quiet only made her want to laugh harder.
"You...gotta...make me...shut up!' Brook barely squeaked out between laughs.

"Brook!" he said at her louder giggling, as he looked around, smirking himself. Both of them would be totally useless if guards suddenly caught on to them. It was a nice thought to have in mind, for sure.
"This is nowhere near the time or place-" he said quickly, taking his hand from her mouth for a second, only to replace it with his own mouth, planting one on her, right there and then.
Well it worked at least.
The next couple of seconds were filled with complete silence, and Carlyle had to wonder whether is was the laughing or the kiss that he was talking about just a second ago.

--------------------------------------------------------------------- Brooklyn was pinned on her back in no time, still giggling softly. Or not so much softly, but probably as quiet as she was going to get.
Even when Carlyle covered her mouth, she was still blowing puffs of air against it. Her eyes watered and her stomach was clenching. It felt as though she had just done a hundred crunches, it hurt so bad.
But none of that mattered when she felt Carlyle's lips press against hers. It only lasted a few seconds but her heart stopped. Time stopped, she swore. Brooklyn's eyes slowly reopened to come face to face with Carlyle O'Hara. The boy that had been part of the four amigos, her best friend forever.
"Well, that worked." She breathed out slowly, not entirely sure of what had just happened.

It's a new dawn, It's a new day, It's a new life... For me. And I'm feeling good. Carl pulled away and looked down at the red headed, who had like he'd expected, shut up. He bit his lip and wondered what to say, but then she beat him to it.
"Chyea." Carl breathed out, getting up onto his feet. "I have that effect on people." he joked, letting out a quiet laugh to himself as he started to walk around the main area they were in pretending to look around while his mind promptly exploded with confusion and unclear thinking.
It was mostly about Brook, his "buffl." as she had said repeatedly in the past. And how he had just broken so many rules according to what he understood of the 'bff' code. And how he wanted to go and break some more.
Carl walked up to the glass box, booth, thing in the middle of the room, and pushed open a small door and stepped into it. "Hey check it out." he said, through the glass as he dumped his rucksack on the chair. He picked up a red and black cap/hat (he couldn't decide which), and put it on, pulling a face at Brook, before pressing at the numerous buttons on the desk in front of him, which of course didn't work.
This place was so weird. But he had that niggling want of exploration that made him feel like a ninja. "Wanna go look around?" he said again, looking up from the desk and at Brook.

Carlyle was wandering around the main room, going into a booth and standing inside. She cracked a smirk as he called for her to look his way. Slowly, Brooklyn got to her feet, wobbling a bit at first. She limped over to the booth and smiled at Carlyle.
"Do you know who you're talking to? I'm the most adventurous. Remember, I'm the one that got us into this mess."
She dropped the bag that she thought she had lost and snatched the hat thingy from his head. Brooklyn found herself awfully close to the lips that had just kissed hers. And that little scruff on his chin...so adorable.
She snapped herself out of it. He was her best friend.
"Souviener." She giggled, hooking her arm through his for him to lead the way.

This whole escapade is your doing." he joked, winding her up a little as a distraction for himself towards their suddenly close proximity. Carl glared at her momentarily as she stole his hat and hooked her arm through his. He quickly forgot about the hat when he caught sight of a stick of some form.
"This'll do." he said, picking it up and beginning to use the replica lightsaber as a walking stick as he walked Brook and himself out of the booth and towards door number 1, with the tacky star around it.
He remembered that they were in unknown territory as of half an hour ago, so opened it with caution, and stuck his head in first taking a look around. Which didn't do much good as it was close to pitch black, but lit ever so slightly by weird white circular reflections from the floor, which sort of drew out a pathway for them. How very intriguing.
The seats were placed row after row, and ascending higher with low steps in the middle, leading up to a door at the top with a small window next to it, that occupied most of the back wall.
"What is this place?!" he exclaimed in a whisper, waving the lightsaber in front of them as they walked into the big room filled with at least 100, maybe 200 seats, all facing one direction. It really didn't make sense.

She was looking at the tiny reflectors, leading their way. "what is this?" Of course, they had no clue what a movie theater was. They were hardly allowed movies anyways.
"I have no clue," she whispered back. "Why would they have so many chairs all facing one way?" She ltierally scratched her head and limped ahead of Carlyle.
"Come on!" She giggled, her voice no longer a whisper. She wasn't worried about getting caught while in here.

Carl thought, pulling a confused face at the thought of trying to hang out with people but having to sit in lines all facing the same way. Seemed really.. militant.
"Hey speedy, watch your leg." he said, running up after her and grabbing onto her hand. Last thing they needed was for her to trip and hurt her other ankle. Not being able to run would be the worse case scenario at the moment.
The got to the top of the stairs, and Carlyle turned around and looked down at the wall that all the chairs were facing, there was some sort of red curtain covering most of it, but it just looked like a wall to him.
"I don't get it." he said to himself, letting go of Brook's hand and sitting down in a set next to the door. "It's comfortable though." he said, leaning back and stretching his legs out in front of him.
