Tansy blinked when Annie grabed her and moved her back, but didn;t say anything. She wasn't sure who this man was, but Annie didn't seem to like him, but on the other hand Gidget was acting like a child in a candy store. She looked between the three of them. ""W-what do hyou mean?" She asked over Annie's shoulder.

Annie bit the bottom of her lip and said, "Oh, no, sir, your status does not bother me. Daddy always told me that status is a ridiculous thing that means nothing."
She turned to where Tansy was, frowning, Annie waited for her to continue, after all it was her that Charles Ray was asking about. Annie clenched her fists knowing that she would have to keep her temper before her power flared up.

Charles' smile widens, the joy in his expression becoming a bit more evident. He takes a step inside the apartment and puts his hands together, the excitment starting to show. "There is so much I want to ask you, so much I want to learn and discover that I can hardly contain myself. But I digress, we have much to discuss, and the evening grows late. Perhaps you and your friends would like to join me for supper? I know of several excelent resteraunts downtown. We can discuss my offer over a five star meal. Please, it's my treat." He offers her his right hand in a gesture of good faith.

Gidget gives another overjoyed squeel. She runs over to Tansy and Annie, he eyes bright and extatic. "Oh please guys can we? I have so many questions I want to ask Mr. Ray. Plus I want to run some schematics by him and see if I can get some stuff patented. Oh please please please puhleeeeeze?!" She says the last with her hands folded together in a praying fashion.

Tansy paused for a few seconds. "I'm... hornered sir, But I cannot make that decision without consulting the others." She smiled softly at him as she looked around the room quickly. "I am sorry." She took a step back, unsure of what else to do. She was worried, since he knew who she was, and proably knew that she wasn't dead as everyone though she was. And that was a danger. but if she didn't do as he asked, he could turn her in and wrose things could happen. "I shall go with you, and the other may join if they please. That is, if you don't mind." She quickly added the last part.

He holds his arms open in a friendly manner, "Of course I don't mind. Everyone is invited. The more the merrier I always say. I have a private limousine waiting downstairs to take us where ever we'd like to go in the city. I will give you all a moment to confer. Please do not feel pressured, there is no rush." He takes a step back into the hallway and looks around, giving the others a moment to discuss things.
Internally he is highly aggrivated. He hates tap dancing around his goals like this. In this case he had to force himself though. He has no idea what the people are capable of yet. If things got heated there isn't much he can do. At least, not until he shook their hands.

Annie nodded, "I'll go too." She leaned over to Tansy and hissed, "I don't like him. Keep on your guard around him." It bothered her that he knew so much about Tansy, and who knew what he knew about her and the others. The guy gave her the creeps and she didn't know why; however, whenever her 'six sense' about people told her to be on her guard, it was always right.

Tansy looked to Annie and nodded. "Of course." She sighed softly. If there was anyone she trusted to judge others.. it was Annie. "But if I don't go, it couldmean more trouble for us all. If he turned me in.. Us... in, we could be lab rats forever."

Ako had walked over to stand behind the girls, crossing his arms over his chest. He didn't like this man anymore than Tansy or Annie, and he didn't feel like hiding it. "If you're going, I'm going." He said, there was no way he was going to leave them alone with this guy.

Gidget's smile fades a little at hearing the other people talk about one of her technological idols being treated like some sort of villain. "What're you guys talking about. He's done great things for people, he wouldn't treat us like aliens or anything. He probably read about Tansy in the paper, and since he owns the building word got back to him. He's a good man." Even though she is saying this, the way Annie looked at him troubles her. Annie is never wrong about people...never.

Annie sighed, ruffled Gidget's bright pink hair and said, "Yeah, he has done some great things for people, but honey, that doesn't necessarily means he does them for good reasons." She forced a smile, "You know me, Gidget, I'm a worrier."
She hated to upset or worry Gidget, so she lied some, hoping that Charles Ray wasn't nearly as bad as she felt he was.
