slave-demon ((sorry for the absent busy)) "my name is Rune" Rune said heading to the table and sitting down "and yours?" Rune asked politely "My name is Kikaru. Now we should begin our excercise..before Sensei comes over. Why don't you practice being the geisha first." She whispered to Rune, as not to disturb the class.

((I'm so sorry for not rping. I was out of town and thought I had internet access . . . unfortunately, the source was dead x.x;.))
Iyasu rushed into the classroom and bowed lowly to the sensei. She did not look her in the eye, but kept her head down low until she was dismissed.
"Forgive me sensei . . . I did not mean to come in late." The maiko said softly.

Now that they had instructions to begin, Tora was ready. "Are you ready Mizu-chan? Who do you wanna be?" she asked.

Makoto took a deep breath and turned to her Kamiko and practice her speech again.
"Greetings, It is a pleasure to have you here, honored guest. My name is Makoto. I am a but a lowly maiko from Hinohasu okiya but I will work hard to make your stay a good one. It is a delight for me to attend to you tonight. Is there anything that I may get you?" She then bowed her head again.
She inwardly smiled happy that it worked well this time.

Mizu Odoriko "Umm...I'll the the patron?" she spoke uncertainly. "Okay," Tora said. She cleared her throat. Tora greeted the patron first with a low, graceful bow, remembering to put no pressure on her finger tips and keeping her elbows tucked in. "We are very happy to have you at our tea house and that you chose to spend your time with us and I humbly beg your indulgnce. My name is Tora. I am just a novice Maiko, but will do and serve to my best." Tora raised and smiled at her friend, who was now a patron. "Please, could I perhaps offer you some tea or rice?" Tora let out a tiny puff of air... almost like a sigh. She waited for either Kyoku-sama to say she did it wrong or right and for Mizu to reply.

Mizu, being a maiko and certainly not male, was not a patron nor had she seen many patron entrances, but that didn't stop her from trying. She gave her friend a polite nod.
"Hello Tora, my name is...Hiroyuki."
Weird...oh well, I hope the old kimono-maker doesn't mind me borrowing his name...
((eh...that'd be a reference to my big liar story in the teahouse...with the kimono maker who saved me from having to admit i ruined a kimono...and yeah...))

Cinerea kairisesshy ...DO NOT put pressure on your hands, and dont stick your elbows out so you look like a bird." Ao-sagi almost jumped at the bird-comment. Look, the crane is wading through the paddy!Kami, how often had she heard that comment about her awkward long limbs... She looked at Momo with questioning eyes. Shall i begin? Then she bowed before her comrade, keeping her elbows tucked in as tightly as she could. She straightened up again and introduced herself, speaking in a low, but not hushed voice: "It is our pleasure to have you here, honored guest. My name is Ao-sagi. I am a but a lowly maiko from Kanenokikyou okiya and thus beg your indulgence. It is both a great honour and delight for me to attend to you tonight." When she was finished, she bowed again. She had practiced that phrase often, but could not help stumbling over the word "indulgence"... And the brains of a bird, too. She sighed inwardly. Momoko was unsure what to do next. Was she suppose to introduce herself or was she to pretend to be the patron.

tehamanda Momoko was unsure what to do next. Was she suppose to introduce herself or was she to pretend to be the patron. Sensing Momo's discomfort, Ao-sagi whispered: "Shall we switch roles so you can practice your introduction now?"

"Once you have finished your introduction, please switch roles girls. I want to make sure you are all ready to move on." Kyoku kept walking slowly, resting her hand lightly on Tora's shoulder for a second. "Very good Tora-chan, you may switch now."

Mizu smiled, giving her friend a surreptitious wink to congratulate her. Praise from a geisha was always to be prized. "Should I start now?" she asked uncertainly as she stood across the table from her friend.
