Amme smiled and looked at him, "Do you think I can do it?" She tapped the marble against the wooden counter. She then looked at it as she did it again. She had an idea. She held the marble in her hand then dropped it on the wooden counter. It bounced only a little bit. After thinking for a few seconds, she backed up a little and threw the the marble down on the counter. It bounced and made it to the first row of bottles and into one of the bottles. She smiled, "Wow I can't believe that actually worked," she said. She did it again, but missed. Then she got another one in. She was down to her last marble and she only got two of them into the bottles. "Hahaha, now I kinda feel pressured to get it in now," she said in good spirits.
Bakura stayed still for a moment before he slid down off of his horse. He then sat next to her. He looked over at her and asked, "What happened when you lost control?"

"my magic went crazy and not only injured myself but many others... innocent people, servants and destroyed half of the complex I was in.... I've been afraid to lose control ever since. I don't want to hurt you." Eros said softly as she closed her eyes "and that's why I meditate. to prevent things like that from happening all over again..."
Atem smiled happily. "you can do it. I know you can." he cheered as his anticipation rose along with his excitement.

"You won't hurt me," he said sincerely. He had a huge ego when it came to him surviving. So he did not fear anything, especially danger. "I don't fear you, and you should not fear what may happen. As long as you keep focused as you have been you should be fine. Remember, you are free. You have no reason to lose control, nothing binds you now," he said to encourage her.
Amme took her last marble and slammed it against the counter like the others. However, it bounced off of the bottle lip and she missed. "Awww," she said disappointed that she lost. But she didn't take it to heart. She looked at Atem and smiled a little quirky, "Guess I still need some practice." She hoped the game was actually as hard as it was, or else she would feel kind of embarrassed. She shifted off to the side and said, "It's your turn now."

Eros's hair covered her face as she blushed "I suppose... no nothing does, my emotions just get the better of me sometimes." after her blush faded she looked at Bakura again "I'm ready to go back now." she said sweetly as she got up and held out her hand.
Atem smiled as he got his marbles and began to play. He made sure to miss with his first two marbles. he didn't want to look like he played before, and he didn't want Amme to get embarrassed. he then had just barely got the third one in and smiled "yeah it's a bit hard." he smiled.

Amme watched as Atem took his turn. He missed the first two marbles but got it in on his third try. She believed him when he said it was a hard game, even if he made his first one in already. She didn't feel embarrassed. But she did see how good he was at the game. "I think you'll be able to get two more marbles in. You can do it," she said encouraging him as she smiled.
Bakura just looked at her. His eyes were so much different now from when he first met her. They weren't as monstrous or fierce. They were still powerful, but they were almost calmer. He watched her get up and offer her hand to him. He smirked but then got up, taking her hand. "I'll lead us back then," he said as he got up on his horse and waited for her to get onto hers.
[[I think when the two of them go to bed, I'm going to have Bakura scream in his sleep from nightmares. Also, he'll probably watch Eros go to sleep and try not to sleep himself. ]]

Eros hopped on her horse and chuckled "as you wish my king." she said happily. her eyes still held the same glimmer of mischievousness, but they were much brighter and not as dead looking when they first met face to face.
Atem smiled as he made another in. "I think so too now that I've got the hang of it." he then closed his eyes and took in a slight breath before opening them again and tossing it, it swirled around the rim of the glas at first, before slowing down and falling in. "cool." he said with a huge grin.

Amme watched as Atem was getting the marbles in. She was impressed by how good he was at this. "Have you played many games before?" she asked him curiously. She never found reason to ask him before, even though the two of them were close she couldn't really play with him when she was younger. He tried, but it proved rather difficult. So games were rarely a topic of discussion.
He rode into the night with her back to the hide out. When they arrived back and entered, most of his men were down below sleeping. There were very few still drinking and even few that were up just socializing. It was practically dead. He figured most had fallen into a drunken sleep and the other half went to sleep to get up early. Zeres wasn't to be seen, he was one to sleep early and wake early. He walked into his room with Eros and started sorting through some of his things in a small golden chest. He peeked up at Eros. He didn't want to admit it, but it was strange to have someone practically in the same room. He was so used to being alone. It was strange, but he actually liked it. "What will you be doing? Are you going to go to sleep now?" he asked.

Eros nodded "I need to wash a bit though, I don't care for blood on my back or in my clothes when sleeping.." she grabbed a dress and went into the bathroom to bathe. "I'll only be a moment." she said as she started the hot water.
Atem smiled "yes I do. quite a lot." he said sweetly as he got a prize and gave it to Amme. "here you go." he said sweetly.

"You did it!" she cheered happy for him. The man at the stand handed him a prize which was a cat toy made of canvas and stuffed. They were supposed to be good luck. But Atem handed it to her instead of him keeping it. "Really?" she chirped liking the toy. It looked so cute, but she didn't know what it was until she felt the top of it's head. "Aww, it's a cat," she said happily. She hugged it, "Thank you, I'll keep good care of it." She then looked back up at him. Her eyes were so alert now and filled with happiness.
Bakura nodded and watched as she walked into his bathroom. He couldn't help it but stare at the room, he wasn't sure what he was expecting to see if he just stared. He lost track of what he was doing and sat in that same direction for a while, dazing out.

Eros laughed "if you stared any harder at the curtain i think there'll be holes in it from your eyes. if you're so nosy than just come on in the only thing you'll be able to see is the top of my chest... I made a bubble bath." she said as she relaxed in the hot water, her muscles tense from years of being stiff and up tight.
Atem smiled "glad you liked it....." he looked around and saw a small table with three halves of walnut shells and a bean. "that looks like a challenge, wanna try?" he said curiously "it's a guessing game, you gotta watch the shell he puts over it constantly." he hinted.

Amme looked over to see the challenge Atem mentioned. "Mhmm! I wanna try," she said as she took a seat. The man explained the rules, which were simple and already told to her by Atem. She noticed that the bean made a small noise on the table when it was rolling around within the walnut halves. Her eyes confused her were it was and she knew that Atem told her to watch. But she felt more confident if she listened rather than watched. She closed her eyes and focused on the sounds. All of the walnuts made noises when they moved, but the one with the bean made a rattling noise as well. When the man asked her where the bean was, she didn't even open her eyes, she pointed at the one to the left. She then opened her eyes to watch as the man turned it over to reveal a bean. "Yay!" she said excitedly. She was handed a prize which was a toy top spin. She stood up and turned to Atem. "It's not much but I want you to have it," she said with a smile.
Bakura's eyes widened as he quickly looked away. He turned away and laid on his back with his arms folded, "Don't be silly," he replied back to her even though he knew he was basically caught red handed. And boy did he blush, his face was completely red from what she said about going in there. Horrible yet wonderful thoughts filled his head. He cursed at himself for thinking such things not because of morals, but because of the possibility of how he may feel for this particular girl. It was preposterous, he was King Thief Bakura, he held no feelings for no one. And yet here he was, pink in the face and everything.

Eros smirked as she soon finished and came out with a new dress on and saw the blush "ahh, my King refuses, but can't help and think..." she teased while laughing. "well I'm going to bed now... good night my lord." she said softly as she carried her things into her room and fixed her bed. she blew out all the candles save one in thecorner on the floor and snuggled into the bed.
Atem smiled and took the gift. "nah this will be fun to use during my breaks between study sessions." he said sweetly and kissed her cheek. "ok you choose the next one and I'll give it a try." he said sweetly.

Amme was glad that he took it. Sure he had practically everything, but she still wanted him to have that. She then froze when he kissed her on the cheek. She blushed as she looked at him. She felt so strongly for him, and he treated her so well. She put her arms around him and put her head on his chest. She couldn't help it, she just felt so many things for him but she wouldn't allow herself to admit it in her mind. She couldn't, it absolutely couldn't as much as she wanted it. But it wasn't about what she wanted, because she knew she couldn't have it. But it was becoming harder and harder for her to tell herself that. It took her a few seconds, but she realized what she was doing. She backed away a little and blushed, "I'm sorry, I got carried away...." she said saying the only thing that would sound logical.
Bakura made a poutful angry face at her that was probably comical for Eros. He 'hmff'ed and said no more about the matter, since he knew Eros would only tease him about it. And he didn't want to say anything crude and naughty, not even to cover anything up. Because he would not mean what he would have said. He turned toward her when she said she was going to sleep. "Good night Eros," he said in a low voice but loud enough for her to probably hear. He watched her snuggle into her bed and lay there. There was one candle still lit so it was dim in her room. Bakura picked up his things and put them away. He then blew out the candles around him except for one. He was not ready to sleep, he preferred not to sleep if he could. Chances were, he would get his hour or two of sleep and be fine. He only wore his black shorts, no robe, no jewelry. He then laid in his bed on his side, propping his head up with his elbow and head in hand. He watched Eros lay there and eventually sleep. He felt the need to just watch over her while she slept- even though that was silly since she was safe in his hideout.

"good night my King.." Eros said just loud enough for Bakura to hear before she went into a light slumber, smiling softly in her sleep. Eros finally felt at peace, she trusted and understood Bakura in ways no other possibly could. She also felt a strange feeling as she slept, it was familiar, but much stronger than ever.
Atem smiled softly and took her into his arms "for what?.... in case you haven't gotten the hint I love you.. Quite a lot." He looked her in the eyes before kissing her soundly and gently.

Amme watched as he brought her into his arms. Her heart stopped, she felt like she could breath even though she was breathing just fine. Did she hear him right? Or was it what she wanted to hear. She watched him with big hopeful yet confused eyes. "Wha?" she mumbled only a little before he came down and kissed her. She did not struggle, why would she? Her eyes rolled back as she closed them and let him kiss her. Her arms hesitated a bit before she put them on his back.
Bakura smiled a little as he heard her say goodnight to him. He laid there and just watched her. Now usually at night time, he would be up doing something to keep him awake. But now that he was just laying there he was starting to feel sleepy. He cursed at himself, he couldn't let himself sleep like his body wanted to. Not only did he fear to fall asleep because of what may happen outside his sleep - such as a raid, but he did not like seeing those pictures replay in his head. His horrors came out when he slept. But he was so bored. Bakura's eyes kept dimming, wanting to close. Eventually, he lost control and layed his head down to sleep.
