Hi all, I'm looking forward to the purposes of this guild, props to Semiremis for making it. :3
I am a Christian, though I'm not sure what my denomination is (I just know I'm not Baptist), so I'll just list a few beliefs so people know my standpoint on popular issues. I believe that: God is benevolent, all-knowing, and everywhere, that his essence inhabits every little thing (kinda like the Disney Pocahontas theory); that Heaven and Hell are two different places, each of which are made so that people who wish to have or not have a relationship with God can choose where to go; that sin includes everything from murder to eating shell fish to mixing two kinds of fabric, and that God, being the benevolent creator of the universe, doesn't think in human terms and thus we cannot predict how he will punish people for their sins, if at all; that God speaks and is capable of being seen; and, regarding popular issues, that God really doesn't care either way regarding sexual orientation and identity and that God is capable of using every mistake, even that of an unwanted or unborn child.
(cough) Those are the basics of my belief system, since I've been unable to quantify them using denominations. Hope that wasn't too tedious of a read. heart

I find myself astounded by some things I see and hear by the religious, mostly in the United States, and rarely the United Kingdom. Aside from my love of philosophy, I have a love of art as well. I'm currently getting some water colours soon to paint a small bush of large violet flowers that I think would look beautiful in said water colours.

Anything else you want to add: I have a bit of an interest in other cultures, including their religions. My personal belief is that the only "right way" is every way, so I learn as much as I can about the beliefs of others and look for any similarities or connections to christianity. I enjoy talking to the more open-minded about religion, afterlifes, etc. I also believe there is a single God that displays different aspects to different religions, including pagans. One diamond with many facets, if you will.
