"sorry about that." the now orange cat walked up to Ashton from seemingly no where. you've got it. i can tell. impressive." jinx circled her, looking her up and down, as if she were an ancient lost piece of pottery, put up to bid in an auction. "very impressive indeed. oh, where are my manners? I'm quite sorry about that whole 'meeting' crack earlier. I'm..." at this the cat's ravishing blue eyes sadly faded to the colour of a storm over the sea, but she closed her eyes, obviously aware of what was happening, shook her head, and looked back up at her with the original blue. "...I'm not really one to speak about boys." there was sadness in its voice, and it gazed through her, more than at her. her eyes bluening a bit more she looked into Ashton's eyes and added "what can i do for you? i love talking to people."

"Oh, um hi. Does...that happen often?" Ashton asked, meaning the cat's eyes.

"yeah, get used to it, and feel lucky. you know when you force a smile when you find out your crush is dating? or when your disappointed with someone? or your really happy that mean girl tripped, but you dont want anyone to know? no hiddin' the emotions here.im also the butt of many 'tickled pink, green around the gills, and felling blue' jokes." the cat once again began to look her up and down. "show me it." she demanded.

This cat confused Ashton. "Show you my emotions?"

the cat chuckled. toffy tabby stripes rose from its flank and covered the orange ones. its eyes glowed like embers in colour. "little vampire boy couldn't play nice with you, so he had to go in time out, trussed up like a deer ready for slaughter. you're the little warper they tell me about. show me." the cat stared expectantly

"Oh, okay," Ashton said, twisting her hand and a small portion of concrete near them swirled up in a spiral, where she held it there. Ashton wasn't one for showing off, so she had just done something small.

Carrying on, the girls headed for the art room, figuring it would be fun to paint something and fulfill their boredom atleast.

the cat's whiskers twitched. "hold that thought. sorry to question and run, but i must. as i said before, if you need help, a simply call of 'jinx' will do." it looked into Ashton's eyes. "you'll need it." it jumped into the goldfish pond, swam under an unusually large Lily pad, and was gone.
walking out from behind an easel, the cat began to lick the water out of its fur, eyes fixed on the two sisters. dissapearing with the water, as the animal's flanks grew drier, they grew more and more black in colour, its eyes returning to purple.

Ashton felt relieved as she stood up. She hadn't wanted to show off in front of the cat, no matter if the cat wanted her to. If the cat really wanted to see her real powers, the only time would be if she was protecting her own life.

The girls paused and looked at the feline. "Hello kitty." They sang in unison before the set up the paints and brushes of all colors and sizes. "What pleasure-" The other began, "-shall we take in this meeting?" Their violet eyes stayed glued to the creature.

ignoring the question, the cat dragged out the pots of paint it needed. yellow, black, brown, purple, red, blue and white. it grabbed a pallet in its jaws and began mixing colours. then it sat a piece of canvas the size of a chapter book on the easel. dipping its paws in the paint mixtures daintily, and then began to move its front feet so fast the were a blur of fuzz with paints on the end, dipping and re-dipping in the different colours so fast you couldn't keep track of what paint was on which paw. a bit of shading for the jaw bone... the cat's ancient artistic nature whirled in her head. she added a darker gray to the picture's pale skin. there. done. the cat grasped the canvas in her teeth and set out of the art room to find and give the picture the person it was intended. the vampire's eyes gleamed in front of the dusk backround painted into the art work. his skin was pale and his face grim, just as it had been when he had watched her from the building.

(time jump for Edward *_*)
Edward noticed that some of the other students were going into the art room. Seeing as he never went to classes, he followed them. He then saw the strange cat coming towards him. "Yes?"
