Rei stalked into the squad, still deeply embarassed by her sudden leave of the forest. Without breaking her stride, she crossed over to one of the emptier tables, away from the center of the bar. She didn't order anything; instead, the raven haired shinigami sat there, her back slumped on the curved back of the bar's chair. Closing her eyes and breathing in deeply, Rei sat there, resting.

Sayuri took a break from sipping her water and looked around to see who had just entered. She saw Telemachus and a shinigami whom she had never seen before. Sayuri knew Telemachus and she thought about introducing herself to the shinigami.The shinigami had dark hair and seemed friendly enough but Sayuri wasn't sure about aproaching her. Soon she got up and walked over to Telemachus to quench her curiosity."Excusme, Tele-sama, do you know who that shinigami is? I'v never met her before and i thought it would be rude to go talk to her if i don't know her name"

"It would be nice to make more friends"admitted Sayuri"I'm sure that you can't have enough good friends! Besides i actually don't know too many people. I get nervious around people i don't know and i say the wrong things when i don't know their names"

Finishing his drink, Telemachus stood and started towards the raven haired Shinigami. He stopped and turned back to Sayuri. "I guess you're right. Well, let's go introduce ourselves and make friends." Continuing to Rei's table, the leopard man quietly, almost silently, pulled out a chair and sat across from her. His slitted, slightly luminescent eyes were transfixed on the female Shinigami for a few seconds before he spoke. "How are your days going, young friend? You look a little lonely and could probably use some good company, yes?" A light, purring laugh sounded deep in his chest as he relaxed back into the chair.

Sayuri followed Telemachus to the table and took a seat. After hearing Rei speak Sayuri felt calmer about meeting her, but more worried about convincing her to be friends. Be fore she could reply Sayuri bowed low and tried using her best posture. "My name is Sayuri Yamazaki, I'm quite pleased to meet you Rei-sama." she answered as calmly as she could.After she had finished she looked around the table nervously waiting for someone else to begin talking.

"Yamazaki- san and Fringe- sama, is it?" Rei repeated the names, mostly to herself more than to the other two shinigami. She gave a small tentative smile to hide her extreme nervousness, and gave each of the two squad members a small return bow. Finding the situation awkward, Rei could only stand there with sweat slowly pouring down her back.
Do something!!!!!!!! It was as though Rei's whole body was waiting for some words to come out of her, but her mouth refusing to say a single one. Gulping down a deep breath, Rei's silver eyes hardened. Time to pave way into uncharted territory!
Trying to break the silence, Rei turned her head slightly toward Sayuri and said in a quiet voice so different from her screaming heart. "Are you perhaps a new member?" The black haired shinigami gave another small smile, trying hard not to break down from a heart attack of nerve "Finding everything ok so far?" What are you talking about?! You're still a new member yourself!!!!!!!! Rei screamed at herself inside her mind after the words were spoken. Ignoring it, she kept a straight face as she waited for Sayuri to answer the rather rude (at least to Rei) question

(Enter, Alder.)

A Senkai Gate opened in the middle of the bar, and Alder stepped slowly from it, taking his sweet time. Thankfully, the twelfth squad had restored the ability to use the gates, so he was able to enter the Soul Society again. "That was troublesome....for a span, Senkai Gates didn't work....it's a good thing I didn't have to tangle with any Bounts..." Alder grimaced a bit at the thought, and moved over to the squad members already here without hesitation. "I already know who you are, because I actually read the papers when members join, but I guess you don't know who I am. My name is Alder, and I'm the eighth seat in this squad."

He slid smoothly into one of the open chairs at the bar, and ordered a plain serving of sake. "You don't really have to call me 'sama' or 'dono'....I go by a first name basis, for the first part..." Before he continued, he started to grin. "Mashiro gets so pissed off when I don't refer to him as 'Fourth Seat Morimoto'....I swear, that man's ego is uncontrollable....senior officers this, senior officers that...." Alder went into a sort of comical rant, trying to amuse the other members of the squad. He even earned a chuckle from Kenta, the bartender.

Rei smiled, all her embarrassment gone.
"Been in two fights with the seniors myself." She found that it was actually easy to talk to Sayuri; Rei found that awfully surprising, considering her shy and nervous personality.
She snapped her attention to the gate that suddenly appeared in the middle of the bar. Suprised but relieved to see that it was only Alder, Rei bowed to him as the higher officer finished his introduction.
"It's been awhile, Alder- sama." Rei felt uncomfortable saying other people's names without a proper title, so she rebellious added the "-sama" in the end. Rei blushed as she realized what a foolish thing she had done. "Ah..... I mean..... Alder- san." Yes, Alder- san, that'll be as far as I go.
"Ho... How had you been? You left so suddenly in the forest." She said in a slow voice, trying not to sound to disrespectful. "Well, I guess that if you had stayed any longer, Morimoto- sama and you would have started a duel." Rei smiled as she added this last sentence.
