Skylar sprinted up the stairs of the church, looking for Yuri, throwing the door open. Only as the door swung open and slammed loudly against the inside wall of the church did his brain register the image of the little girl he'd passed while he was running up the stairs. He turned his head, closing the door, and took a second look at the girl. Slowly and casually, he walked up next to her and sat on the step next to her. "Hey, there. I couldn't help but notice you're sitting here alo-" he glanced at the wolves. "Well, not quite alone, but without parents. Are you lost?" He tried to be nice and sweet, but he wasn't a kid-person. He wasn't even a people person.

"Yeah. You must be Yuri. She's worried sick about you. Searching all over the mainlands. Look, she's still off looking for you, and I'm not sure where she is right now, but I know she'll go looking for me if she can't find you. The difference between you and me is that she knows where to find me. Want to go there with me so we can get her back to you," Skylar explained carefully.

Skylar blinked, then smiled softly. "Oh, if I know people at all, relief will overshadow anger in every way possible. Hows this? I'll try my best to get her to not be angry at you if you come with me to meet her."

"Glad I got the wolves' approval. Anyway, I'm not quite wolf. Close enough though." Skylar got up and offered Yuri his hand. "Come on."

Quin pased restlessly along the isle, his mind lost in thoughts of the past. a daughter.. but how? and when..? the last woman he had even attempted to like was the werewolf in the clan... he froze. Was his child a wolf..? No, there had been that human woman as well.. brown hair and a sweet smile. so his child could be human.. If so, why didnt the mother bring her to him..? frustraited he placed his hands against his temples, lost between laughing at himself and crying at the situation. His curse, it seemed, was to never have time with his children.

Some of the ice seemed to fall away as he crouched, offering the small girl his hand as if soothing a frightened animal. "I think so, little one." Quin was a killer, hardened to the point of ice under what had happened in his life.. but for the first time in years, he didnt want to be oblivious to those around him. trying to sooth the child, and marvling at how small she was, he asked gently. " do you know my name, Yuri?"

Riley let out a yip of confusion as she chased after the woman, halting as the words sank in. she shifted to her human form, nearly growling as she gritted out. " My neice is safe, dont you dare touch her."

" Your Quin.. right?" Yuri jumped back and hugged Bones, startled by the noise they made. she wasnt sure when her death wolf had appeared, but shockingly Luna and Suri were still with her as well.. the two standing infront of her protectivly as Bones soothed her. hiding her face in his fur she called out. " Stop yelling, please! Aunt Ri dont hurt them..!"

Riley jerked back, instenly stilled by the girls plea.. but it didnt stop her from touching her sword handle as she eyed the woman. My Yuri..? " I knew her mother very well, you are not her."

"Look at her hair, look at her face. She looks too much like me. And explain why she has wolves. I know you thief. I may have never met you, but I know you. You are friends with my mother and enemies with my father. I have the scar across my stomach to prove she is mine. I gave her to that woman because I was not ready for a child. Now that woman is dead and I'm ready to take care of her." Her voice was surprisingly calm, she also didn't want to scare little Yuri. "I've been looking for her, you didn't even know she was real."
