I managed to avoid the sword... his bankai wasn't nearly that impressive... I was able to avoid it by holding my breath." His eyes crossed. "For a... long..... time."

"Now that is quite a talent," he smiled as he remembered, "I was once in a cloud of Mayuri's poison smoke, it was entirely an accident, we weren't fighting or anything. I kept the fog away from me with my spiritual pressure, but some of it came in contact with my skin... it was absorbed through my skin and made me sick for a while. I can see how a large amount of it could cause serious harm."

He smirked and slapped his arm. "Hollow hide. Gotta breath it to be affected."
Then he patted the Soul Reapers back. "But it's okay... I know the concept of osmosis is unfair." He chuckled and continued walking.

"I had nearly forgotten about the natural coat of spiritual pressure that hollows had," he waved a finger at the Arrancar, "you still encounter osmosis, but it would have to be through direct contact, something like a fluid form of poison would still be able to get through that skin of yours... though I don't know of any soul reapers with a zanpakutou possessing a fluid poison out there."

"Out of the three of us, he is the only one who doesn't have to worry about osmosis of vapors," he said pointing a thumb towards the hollow, "it may be useful in keeping out poisons, but it also makes it difficult for him to be healed by certain types of medicines."

"Nothing a good soul or stronger Hollow wouldn't fix." He said with an emotionless face. "Though regenerating limbs is still a complete pain in the a**..."
He had dealt with that complication two or three times. It quickly taught him to avoid that as much as possible seeing as hunting with a missing arm was hard. Really hard.

"The good news for hollows that get up to Vasto Lordes class is they typically develop instant regeneration," he smiled a dark smile, "it's a power I have recently become able to use with the assistance of my inner hollow."

"Just watch your reiatsu levels. Instant regeneration a few times in a row may drain you dry. Even Kurosaki would run dry after five or six times." He said seriously.
"That's why I try to do it the old fashioned way."

"It depends on the extent of the damage, and once you reach a certain point in your level of transformation, a certain level of unity, your power reaches a level to where regeneration means nothing," he rubbed his head, "it may be different for hollows and Arrancar, but Vaizards actually keep getting stronger over time, becoming what we are tears away our limits, but it also creates a monster with which we have to continually do battle."

"It should be easier for Vaizards due to the fact that you have two entities. Yourself and the hollow. While Vasto Lordes can still grow stronger, they have to reach an extremely high level to have the instant regeneration not affect their spiritual stamina. I'm not quite comfortable with it just yet... but I've nearly reached that level." He grinned a toothy smile.
"Just a little more extreme level training." He loved to grow stronger.
