"Well you got about just as much from that as me. From what I gathered, she couldn't handle the fact that she thought I was dead, and on top of losing Avarice, not to mention her first husband, she finally snapped."

"Wow, that sounds like it would break anyone." Salazar said fiddleing with his new claws. "So, from what I hear you and this Avarice fellow have a bit of a history, care to exlpain?"

Edward took a deep breath. "History doesn't quite describe it. He was the leader of the Black Cross, well maybe not leader but he was more or less in charge. What really made things more interesting between us is the fact that his daughter Lydia, aka Mim, worked for me, and I fell in love with her. So not only did I have a war to fight with the man, I also had a family squabble." Edward looked up at Salazar. "Avarice also kidnapped my son and did some experiments, which resulted in his death. My wife at the time Lily, was asleep during the fight in which Tyler was taken. Ever since that day, I have wanted Avarice dead. But when Lanius came back I had to make a truce with him. After the war I stayed as far away as possible."

"I know it seems like its really weird. But I don't see it that way." Edward thought for a moment to see how he could explain this better. "Kirai made me open my eyes once. Made me realize I was walking down the wrong path. She saved me from myself, even though she was on the other side."

"All I'm sayin is that if someone used my family for thier twisted little games I wouldn't be too chippy about thier spouse." Salazar made some slashing motions in the air. He was really having fun with his new claws. "What do you think about her?"

Edward repressed a sigh of relief, for the change of topic. "Thats life hanging around me. Nothing can be done about it. If you are hungry, I do suggest taking a trip around outside and seeing what you can catch. It will be dawn soon, and we will be heading back to the castle soon."

Phantom wondered to the training room and couldn't stop glaring at Edward. "For a while I forgot I could sleep. Now the training is still thudding in my head.
Hera walked in behind Phantom in her little dragon form. "Nice to see you again Edward." Hera was just as mad as Phantom, but she was her changeling and felt everything she felt.
