Hei didn't want Hikari to worry, so with a smile still on his face, he nodded his head. "Yeah, I got some sleep." He yawned a bit and stretched. "Felt good too." He stuck his tongue out as well before she kissed his cheek. His face lightened up immediately and he felt that familiar warmth he'd been gaining from Hikari. When she stuck out her tongue playfully, he waited for her to pull it back in before he pressed his lips against hers gently, giving her HIS good-morning kiss. It only lasted a couple seconds before he pulled his head back. "Right back at ya." He said, winking a bit before he chuckled and wondered where they would head today. He could only think of winging it, especially since he didn't know the region. "Hopefully tonight we can sleep in a bed." he laughed a bit more and turned his head once again to look into Hikari's eyes.

Hei was a bit confused on why she had turned away. He shrugged it off and answered her question. "I'm not sure. I've never been to this region before, so it's all new to me?" He shrugged once again and held her a bit closer. "I'm sure we'll reach a village soon though." He said, smiling to hopefully reassure her.

Hikari turned back, a smile on her face. She stood up, pulling Hei with her. " Then let's get walkin! " she said, laughing. She felt less nervous around Hei now and she felt warm inside that she could be with him.

The only things that Anaheim could hear at the moment were his fleeting feet into the narrows of the streets, the creature struggling for it's life in his arms, and the sound of the farmer's dogs behind him. "No, I can't be caught. Not again..." He said to himself as he ducked into an alleyway, hiding until the sound of the guard dogs had ran away. Opening his arms, he revealed a fresh hen that he had stolen to feed himself. The very sight of it's neck made his eyes glow with a hungry rage.grabbing it by the head and base of the neck, Anaheim pulled the chicken so it wouldn't struggle too much. Now, his concious wouldn't be very happy about something like this. 'But if it's to survive', he thought as he bit into the chicken's neck, causing it's struggling to flail about before stopping all movemet altogether, 'then anything goes.'

Hikari continued to walk down a small path and into a forest. The sunlight glimmered as they walked through the trees, weaving in and out. She hoped that they would reach a village after they exit the forest. She smiled at Hei, happy to have him show his feelings for her. She leaned in over, giving him a long kiss on the lips, leaning back and giggling. As the path kept going, she noticed a little rabbit hopping by. If I can ask her how far away the village is... she thought, cutting it short to kneel near the now frightened bunny. " It's okay.... " she said in a soothing voice. The bunny was surprised but calmed down afterwords when she heard Hikari speak to it and understand it. Twitching her nose, she pointed toward the direction they were going then saying a few unclear words to her. She skipped away, then hopping into a small hole in the ground. Hikari smiled. She now knew how far it was. About a short walk down the path and she would be entering a village. " Come on Hei! It's not that far! " she said laughing. She wondered during that time how the bunny knew what she was thinking. Probably because all the people ask that. She shrugged it off and continued to smile at Hei.

Serena didn't answer him, she only waited until he left to look around the inn. Nothing much, just a lot of wooden tables and chairs, and staircase where it lead to the bedrooms. She sighed, she didn't feel like going to bed, actually she felt like leaving the place all together. It was nights like these that made her father's side kick in, it's when she doesn't sleep for a long time, whether it be day or night. She sighed, then left the inn of her own accord, she flew around the town. Just looking really, trying to see what she could, though there was nothing of interest. Soon she landed the inn's roof and sat there, looking up; she didn't feel like sleeping or seeing anyone at the moment. It didn't rain so she was grumpy again, mood swings sucked, but she couldn't help it. Her demonic and angelic personalities, or at least powers, where always mixed with each other. So Serena had no idea which one was going to take control.
