I am making my first journal entry now. I have been so swamped with filing paperwork for all of G Corp's new editions that I haven't had time to make my journal. More to come soon. Now if I could find the RT33352 form!

Sunday, October 24, 2004 @ 5:22 PM Everything is going beautifully, just as we have planned. Nobody suspects anything on the lower levels, and the outside world doesn't know about the project, The other techs have had the medication injected- even LabTech101 was willing to go under for it. It's the ultimate in productivity. Like the patch I gave 722 a bit ago, this medication will allow for G Corp to flourish. There will be no down time, there will be no need for sleeping, and now there will be no need to replace our LabTechs even when disasters strike our G Corp facilities. We will have the ultimate personnel, and that will result in the ultimate company. Cipher Lock Using Key CGorp247 Mode Line ASCII

We must continue our observation.
( ninja The medicine has been injected into 137, 138, 101, and 722. The test seems to have gone well, as fatigue has dropped and the recovery and regeneration rates are astounding. I also affixed a probe to the scalp of 722. In our testing of the rabbits here at the facility, we have noticed a dramatic drop in brain activity at the expense of cellular regeneration. We need to see if this occurs in humans as well. If it does we have created the perfect work machine. If it does not, we have created the perfect war machine. This will only ensure G-CORP will remain the dominant factor in the medical market, but will also ensure Mr. Gambino remains the most powerful man in Gaia. ninja )

I had my journal entries all written out on paper, but I didn't get to enter them until today. Been soooooo busy. sweatdrop )
( ninja But since we want the timeline to stay intact, I will seperate these entries. ninja )
[October 24th, 2004]
Nothing much going on today. Just work work work. this SECRET UNDERGROUND FACILITY IS SO MUCH FUN. I seem to be having trouble remebering things lately. I can't sit in front of the computer for too long because it always makes me sleepy. So when I think of something, I try to write it down... But it's hard to remember. It's like glue... That doesn't stick. Or tape. Not cassette tape, but like Sticky tape. And then sometimes the Tape doesn't stick anymore, and then you have to put more on. Now... where did my roll of tape go... *searches* eek
Anyways... What was I Talking about? Oh yeah. 126. 126 has been acting wierd lately, like he doesn't want me anymore. Which I'm okay with... (for some reason) Because I don't really want him anymore either. It's not like I don't love him, or he doesn't love me... But... Yeah. So anyways. He's supposed to want me anyways. No Matter what. Now, I'm mad at him.
*sulks off into a corner*
Oooh! I found my tape. Wait. Was I looking for it earlier? Why would I have "found" it. Hmmm. (it's soooo sticky) blaugh

Sunday, October 24, 2004 @ 10:03 PM I used to think electronic messages would interfere with research, but thanks to someone's sharp eye outside of G Corp, I have come to understand the Cipher I used has been compromised. The implications of this are very severe. It is only a matter of time until the information comes fully to the surface. We need findings, and we need them fast. To hasten the information collecting process, I have injected myself as well. First hand 24 hour self-observation is the only sure-fire way to document how effective this is! We can't let the research be stopped!
And so begins my documentation. Since I couldn't put myself under and inject myself at the same time, I had no choice but to perform the injection without the help of a general anesthetic. I felt the needle slide in- it burned, almost like a venom racing through my bloodstream. I felt a warmth behind my eyes, I felt a clenching in my chest as my muscles constricted. I remember passing out, but I don't remember pulling the needle from my arm. When I slackened, the needle must have slid free, as when I awoke it was on the ground. While unconcious, I remember having a dream, it was a nice dream.
There was something carefree, something peaceful about the woods. I was fishing. I forget what fishing is like, I haven't seen the outdoors in the longest time. I could smell the salt air, I could see my friends; friends I lost long ago. If it hadn't been an experiment gone bad that had killed them, I could still be fishing with them now- but they are gone. They lost their lives to science, I lost my friends to science, and yet I have nothing left but my science. Gambino saw me as a ruined man, and he gave me science. I have given my all for G Corp since I started because I've had nothing else to give. And now, my science will come to a close. Whatever the results of this experiment, I will have given a life's worth of science.
Perhaps one day I will fish again. Perhaps one day those memories will become a reality. But for now, I must study. This research must be done, I just can't let it go. Some day though, gone will be this obligation to my job. I miss watching the sun rise while sitting next to the lighthouse of Bass'ken Lake. Some day I'll do it again though, some day.
I'm feeling a bit funny, I need to do a retina scan test and see if these are similar to the effects LabTech722 was experiencing.

Post:4 So here I am working late, right? I figure if I work extra hours and stay low on the radar they might want to keep me around for a little longer sweatdrop . And I do mean... keep me around. I just know they're looking for a way to off me. Ever since I got here I get weird looks from the security guards, and now I have a camera above my desk!
Man, what am I going to do, everywhere I turn there's a "drill" or an "evacuation"...
What the.... the lights dimmed again!
HOLY CRAP THEY MUST BE DOING ANOTHER.... EXPERIMENT.
Maybe I should try to sneak into the lower levels and gather some information. I'm so close to figuring out what they're doing, I'm only missing a few parts of the puzzle. Its all a big conspiracy man, it goes all the way up to PNAC. Mind control, slave labor, you name it, G CORP is in it. One time they sold Mind Control Sauce as Taco Bell hot sauce. YOU EVER GET THOSE LITTLE STARS IN YOUR EYES WHEN YOU GET UP TOO FAST? YEAH THATS BECAUSE OF MIND CONTROL SAUCE. YOU ATE AT TACO BELL, RIGHT?
Meanwhile I keep getting all this email from random people wanting me to take a "survey" or "help me". I DONT KNOW WHO TO TRUST! What if its G CORP sending me fake email to see if I will cave in.
And, no one has said they will come to party. I HATE YOU ALL STUPID COWORKERS. *ANGST ANGST*

[October 25th, 2004] Experiments are fun. Especially when you get to play with big fluffy colored aminals. Whoops. I was told specifically not to talk about the animals in my journal. Oh well. Hmmmm. So I got these fluffy pillows in the Lab now. and they're so fun to pet I mean strtoke. Soft. Like Silk. I once had this blue silk dress. Blue like the sky on a summers day. Then I went walking through the meadow... and I saw nice cows... Moooo!

This is fantastic! The result of the inital testing for experiment #410042 had gone so well that we've moved on to the next phase of testing. The labtech... I mean lab rat took the bait and had shown no signs of side effect after consumption. The rumours had been dealt with, nothing was missing, everything's where they should be.
Was just imformed that if the experiment is completed before my retirement next Wednesday I'll receive an extra bonus! I'm sure we can have preliminary results by the end of the week. Mr Gambino will be so pleased.

Tuesday, October 26, 2004 @ 3:44 AM Aside from the occasional dizzy spell, day one has not been terrible. I fixed my cyclotron and have resume some physics experiments on cellular acceleration. You wouldn't believe what happens as an organism is accelerated to unthinkable speeds. We aren't just talking in terms of mass either, but the actual function of the cells themselves. They take on new characteristics, adapt, and continue to thrive even better than at low velocities. This verifies our theory from a previous experiment in an attempt to promote space-driven agriculture. If cellular growth is accelerated under these conditions, then a harvest from space could feed Gaia for months, if not years.
722 appears to not be sleeping, and I haven't noticed a drop in his perception yet. He's been like a machine at his bench, working nonstop on his project. 137 has been the same way. This is helping solidify our claims for the neural cellular stimulator project. We only need a few more days to verify there are no immediate side effects, and then we can push to release this to the Gaian populace. Gambino's influence will allow us to skirt around the typical regulations and restrictions as well. I do believe some other rabbits need to be eliminated from out stores however. They have been exhibiting what is best described as "odd" behavior. We can simply attribute this anomaly to the species, nothing more.
Also, due to the recent security breach, Gambino has demanded an overhaul of our security systems. Apparently confidential information has been leaving the lab- Mr. Gambino was not pleased. As a result, he demanded we do more than simple replacement methods to hide our more sensitive data. Given the flood of mail my inbox has received, I am reasonably certain the CGorp Cipher has been compromised. As long as it's replacement allows me to log what Gambino has asked of me, I have no objections.

( ninja Something is terribly wrong. A rabbit we left for dead, one that we did not have the time to properly deal with, has developed some serious problems. We put the creature under after it stopped being able to function normally. It would attack the other rabbits, almost cannibalistic in nature. The end result was us putting it under and then into containment with other animals marked to be incinerated. Two days later LabTech101 asked me why the monkey was all chewed up. It was horrible, I can't explain the horror of what I saw very well. The rabbit was alive. We don't known how, but it was alive. We threw the burn switch for the entire chamber. Our equipment had to be malfunctioning, there were no signs of life in the containment chamber. It's just not possible...is it? ninja )

Oh my gosh, it's TUESDAY!
Where has the time gone? I put my head down for a minute, and when I woke up, I was in a white infirmary sort of location. 101 explained to me that everyone took a siesta, so I didn't feel as weird about it after. I mean, that sort of thing is normal, right? Gosh I hope Mr. Gambino doesn't think we're slacking off. I like this job so much! And I'm just getting to know 137! gonk I'm going to resume research as soon as I refill my red mug with some of that good coffee. I got to thank 909 for introducing me to it. I'm going to work twice as hard!!

It's Tuesday already, I can't believe it. I hope that I won't get in trouble for skipping work on Monday. For some reason I couldn't get out of my bed for 3 days straight. Must be the cold that I had, but now I feel really good. In fact I feel more energetic then ever before and have a huge urge to work on that PBT. Weird, I usually hate work and rather play solitaire when no ones is looking. xp
At least so far no one had notice me today. ninja Which is good.
Any hoot, back to work.
Ah Crap!!!! Just remember, 957 Home Internet Party was this weekend. Totally slept through the weekend without getting up for the party. I hope he doesn't hate me if I didn't go. I should go say sorry...er...maybe not.

OMG I just woke up and everyone is telling me that it is Tuesday. eek Gosh, must've been all that moving of large metal containers I did all last week. sweatdrop
Today life in the secret underground test facility has gotten a little weird. I mean, normally I absolutely LOVE working in a secret underground test facility, but today everyone is acting all weird. I think it might have to do with all the naps everyone is taking. As my mom used to say, "too much of a good thing can be bad for you." Well, everyone is kinda cranky today. I saw 137 in his cube today making really aggressive looking poses with his arms and hands. It was almost like he was trying to hold onto some kind of imaginary weapon or something. sweatdrop I mean, I used to make believe all the time, but we're working in a secret underground test facility for gosh sakes. sweatdrop
Then, as I was heading down the hall, I noticed 138 looking in the mirror. She was also acting strange. When she came in today, I first noticed her with a hat on. And then every other time throughout the day, she had more and more things on her head(like a flower, or a hair clip, or glasses, etc). I could've sworn by the end of the day, she would've just toppled over from all the weight on her head! eek
Anyhoo, maybe it's just me. I feel so tired today.... so drained. I also noticed that my hands are all raw. The skin on the pads of my palms seems irritated. What have I been doing all weekend!? crying

Secret. I have a secret. And I'm not telling. Because I work in a secret underground test facility with guards roaming the hallways all the time with big scary guns and stuff. But... I know a secret...

Tuesday, October 26, 2004 6:30 PM Woke up this evening feeling refreshed and energized. The past few days feel like a distant dream. In fact, I don't even remember going to work today, or yesterday. I feel a sense of euphoria and giddiness that I only usually feel when I am at the card table. It's soooo great to be alive. One small thing worries me ... I was playing a game of Texas Hold'em and forgot ... does a straight flush beats a full-house? Oh well. When You wake up feeling this good, nothing phases you!

Post:5 Well, no one showed up for my Home Internet Theatre party. No one likes me, its the only explanation. NO ONE can resist a Home Internet Theatre System.
Sigh... anyway, since I didn't see the point of having an Internet Home Theatre System I returned it to Best Fry's. No sense in owning something expensive if it can't even get you friends. *ANGST ANGST*
As if I didn't already hate the world enough, I decided to head to G CORP the night of the would be party to get some work done.
What I was was absolutely terrifying. THEY'VE BEGUN EXPERIMENTATION ON THEIR OWN EMPLOYEES!! WHAT IS THIS MADNESS?! I saw a couple of employees cleaning their lab space over and over and OVER. They were sweating and mumbling and had a funny tint to their skin. 722 was passed out on the floor. WHY WONT THEY LEARN FROM THEIR MISTAKES WITH THE ANIMALS???
Thank god I skipped out early on Friday night. I heard they were doing some sort of immunization but looks like they were doing some sort of MIND CONTROL EXPERIMENT OR WHATEVER.
One false move and we'll all be under the G CORP spell of control. I've tried to warn everyone here. I'm prepared. I have a 6 month food supply, an underground bomb shelter, a diesel generator with lots of fuel, gas masks, reading material, and most importantly: MY BIG a** SHOTGUN!

It's now noon on Wednesday and I'm still working. I couldn't stop working. I'm constantly having this stong urge to keep on working. I had not yet slept, but I'm still feeling fresh like I'd just woken up from a good night sleep. It seems strange, but my productivity is getting better. I shell continue. I must get more coffee...I must work...I love working here.
