That said, the Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting (3.5) has three alphabets already designed in it. Should I scan up that page? I really like the Elven one >.>
I can't roll my Rs, fyi.

Yes I have the 3.5 FR book with the languages...

realy? o.o i have the v.3 Campaign Setting book, and a number of sourcebooks for FR in the v.3 and v.3.5 range, plus the Players Guide to Faerun which is the v.3.5 update of the v.3 Campaign Setting.

There's an entire language book?
s**t, my HalfPriceBooks needs to get that.
I also have the Draconomicon, which has a selection of Draconic vocabulary and stuff that's pretty cool.

Damn... the only books I have are either Basic D&D, 1st Edition, or 2nd Edition. I stopped getting stuff before 3.0 came out. Though I think I did find a PDF of some of the 3.0 books, but never did alot with them. And now they are already up to 3.5 or 4.0?!?!
Don't think I'll ever catch up really, course since there isn't any groups I play with, not that I have time anyway with 2 little ones climbing the walls, so it's not a total loss. I hear it's just moving more and more towards being computer oriented in the way things are done. Easy to handle everything in programs and all.
I like the idea of using some older real-type stuff for deities and some newer ones. Maybe some are just old ones 'repackaged' so to speak for the current age. I'd like to see more interaction like the old Greek tales have of their deities.

I think we should use Finnish, the language is (unfortunately almost dead) odd sounding, that or Russian which sounds AWESOME!!...

anywho, Cronos, 4th edition sucks a** in my opion, though admittedly i DO like the Shaman class....
i love the Spell Points variant with the Vitalizing subvariant for spellcasters that is displayed in the Unearthed Arcana book though! xd that rocks. smile so does Magic Rating.

Well I have no clue what your talking about... hehehe. The unearthed arcana I have is from 1st editon.
Personally I never really liked the idea of 'memorizing' spells to be able to cast. I preferred the alternate method of a more 'spell point' type thing where you do a spell on the fly from your repertoire. Must be why I liked the sorcerers from later editions.
I need to find the list of stuff I have in PDF form to see if I have any of these books. I sort of got a crap load during a period of major downloading on usenet and haven't really looked through it much since then.

Yes, fourth edition makes D&D into strictly kick in the door style, story is removed. Also, wtf dragon=artillery unit? And the shaman was just a revamp of the spirit shaman class from complete divine/arcane (can't remember quite exactly), which was quite mission specific in abilities...
I personally prefer 3.0 and for one reason alone pretty much... THE BOOK OF VILE DARKNESS!!!...
