Garcian walked down the forested road that led to Oldale town, he felt bad for the professor, and for loosing so much time, he would catch up...somehow.
Somthing rustleling from inside the bushes caught Hawke's eye.
"Cheep!"
"Hmm? What is it?"

A small Wurmple jumped out in front of Garcian and Hawke.A Wurmple? Here's hoping this one will put up more fight than the last guy.
Hawke! Use Scratch.
Hawke jumped at the worm with hsi claws outstretched but the Wurmple dodged and retaliated with String Shot, then followed up with Tackle, knocking Hawke backwards.
"Looks like this one does have some fight in it, okay Scratch it again."
Hawke jumped again, clawing at the Wurmple and throwing it aside.
"That's good, a few more and we've got him. Scratch it one more time"
Hawke attacked a final time but was met head-on with a Tackle from the Wurmple, a bad move, the combined force of the Tackle and Scratch resulted in the Wurmple being knocked out cold.
Garcian and Hawke shared a victorious cheer before moving on.

The Mudkip kept close to Kelsey while they walked. She sighed, looking around at the bushes and trees, then at the blue Pokèmon following her. "Mudkip." It seemed very happy. Kelsey smiled, stopped and picked Mudkip up, holding the Pokèmon in her arms.
