I have had this dream for several weeks now, but I couldn't find out what it means myself and I thought someone here could help. Anyway my dream was about someone, someone I'm supposed to know but don't. Anyway, she/he was running away from something but running to something as well, but scared of what they were doing. Like they knew that what they were doing wouldn't please someone.
Please help so I can figure out who its about.

idk if it will help or not but i just looks through a dictionary
People
To see people you know in your dream, signifies qualities and feelings of them that you desire for yourself. If these people are from your past, then the dream refers to your shadow and other unacknowledged aspects of yourself. It may represent a waking situation that is bringing out similar feelings from your past relationships.

To see people you don't know in your dream, denotes hidden aspects of yourself that you need to confront or acknowledge.

Runaway

To dream that you are a runaway, indicates that you are struggling with issues of belonging and acceptance. Alternatively, the dream means that you are refusing to confront some issue or situation.

To dream that you are chasing someone, signifies that you are attempting to overcome a difficult goal or task. You may also be expressing some aggressive feelings toward others.

I hope it helps

I've been having nightmares, and they scare me so much that I won't sleep for fear of them occuring. I collapsed from exhaustion today, due to said lack of sleep. Can someone help me?

Nightmare #1

Me and my friends are sitting under this huge Weeping Willow tree. We're laughing and having fun together, playing, teasing, sharing stories, etc. Suddenly, the conversation begins to die, and they get up and start to leave. I try to get up and go with them, but I can't move. They get farther and farther away, and I'm calling out to them, but it's like they can't hear me. After a while, I can't see them anymore. I'm scared and crying from loneliness. Then the tree falls on me.

Nightmare #2

Me and my boyfriend are walking in the forest. He hears something and tells me to wait there while he checks it out. He's only been gone for about a minute when someone grabs me from behind and drags me into a pool of black muck. It's kinda sticky, and I can't get out. I scream, and my boyfriend crashes through the brush and sees me. I'm sinking into the muck, and he grabs my hand, trying with all his might to pull me out. But I keep sinking, until it's over my head. He still hasn't let go, and I can vaguely hear him shouting my name. His shouts are suddenly cut off, then he's gone.

OH! I think I can figure this one out! I think it's a bit obvious that you're afraid of being alone, which means you're probably in a situation where it's likely that you and your friends will grow apart. This could be college or differing summer plans or just realizing that you have different interests while you're growing. It seems to be the same for your second nightmare: You're afraid that events you can't control are going to separate you and you guys wind up clinging to a damaged and/or thin relationship that eventually ends in a painful or emotionally scarring break-up. Are you going through a major change?

Fictional Truth
Alright..... So I've been remembering my dreams more and more frequently lately. About a week ago I had a dream about this guy. I never got a clear look at his face, but I remember he had dark eyes that felt like they were looking deep into my soul everytime I saw him. Otherwise I would see nothing but his long dark hair. That or he'd bee looking down. Anyway, everytime this man is in my dreams I remember almost every detail as vividly as if it were and experience I'd just had seconds before. And almost every night since the first dream, he's been there.

Now I just had a close friend of mine (On gaia) leave. Now, I've never met him or anything, but he always seemed to be around when I needed him most. He might be online for a few days to a few months, but when my problems weren't bothering me so much anymore, he'd leave. And I have no idea why he came back around last week, but one day I logged on and I had a message from him saying goodbye. He deleted me form his friends, and hasn't been online since as far as I can tell.

I think my dreams had something to do with him, but in my dreams I feel I have a soul bond with the man who is always there. I can't get him out of my head. I think about the dreams constantly. I want so badly to know who he is and why he keeps coming to me in my dreams. And why I remember everything that happens. I remember what every touch feels like. Every smell and every sound. I remember bumping into walls and my arms are sore the next morning because I can still feel where I hit them.

I would LOVE any advice on why my dreams are so real to me right now.

Well, it could be the idea of meeting your soul mate, or it could be a coping mechanism. I've actually just read something on how people 18 and younger (I don't know if you fit into that age group, but oh well) tend to make representations of the people they've lost until they don't need them anymore. The reason why they're so real could be because of a subconscious need to have someone who's always there for you in the physical (sort of) world that you perceive as real. Since your mind can't just produce a guy in real life, it might be giving you the comfort you need via this subconscious projection of the friend that abandoned you.

Well, this is my first year in high school, and most of my friends don't share any classes with me. This is my first relationship. He knows I'm scared of being alone, so he's almost always with me. But lately, he's been acting more distant. Would that cause these nightmares?

Before he got thrown out, did you, when you got to know he was going to get expelled, in anyway try to help him stay? What was he thrown out for exactly?

I did not know at the time about the infraction that got him expelled, so no, I couldn't try to help him stay. He was thrown out because an airhead cheerleader 'felt threatened' by his Myspace page photo. Prior to this, he'd gotten in trouble for having a Pseudonym Myspace page that "seemed to threaten the safety of the students and faculty of the school" because he'd posted a blog or journal that demanded a change in leadership of the school because the current administration was bungling it. The whole school was terrified it was an assassination attempt in progress or something... It was utterly asinine. I turned him in because I didn't want somebody else to wind up beating the hell out of him or killing him. He forgave me for my actions, and understood I did it to protect him. He also understood when I told him (after learning the reason why he got expelled) that he was an idiot.

I'm not sure how the specifics of the expulsion have relevance to the shared dream...

Well, I think it COULD be because you feel guilty, but he forgives you, but I know it goes a lot deeper. I'm not sure if you approved of his actions, but I'm guessing not. His imagined future, should his wishes for a change in leadership be acknowledged and put through, would mean a better life for everyone. At least, in his mind. That would be his paradise. The people who would benefit from it would be his followers, figuratively. If you saw an entirely different landscape, then it could mean that you saw a negative aspect that he didn't account for, like the fear of him getting hurt, the faculty worrying about an assassination attempt, the cheerleader's thoughts on his myspace and so forth. When he was taking the fall due to his... I don't want to say foolishness, but not watching where he was going I guess? That would be him getting in trouble. You turned him in to try and help him, but he was expelled. I'll bet you feel guilty for that no matter how much he forgives you, so you see yourself as a demon or dark evil figure. He sees it as you saving his behind from something much worse than expulsion (I'm assuming) and sees you as a saving grace. At least, that's what I think. Does it sound about right?

Oh, definitely! New school, different classes, that can cause tons of stuff like this! Things are changing and it won't all be good. As for why he's more distant, I won't automatically go to cheating, though it's a slim possibility. Instead, it could just be that he's worried about school and any extracurricular activities that he's in. He might just not have all of his time set aside for you, leaving life more opportunities to screw with you. Change is always stressful, especially when you're worried that your main support group is spreading and weakening, or is at risk of weakening. Calm down and try to think of positives or schedule weekends with friends and your boyfriend so that you can have a bit more control of your life and try to keep ties. smile

so a couple nights ago, my girlfriend had a dream, it began with a coronation, the male was dark headed and had red eyes, the female was dark headed as well, after the coronation they started to do some X rated stuff, but one thing that stuck out was that he had bitten the females neck like a vampire, she was IN the dream, like physically there, she turned around to leave but stumbled on something and the man noticed her, and grabbed a hold of her. thats when she woke up, any idea wtf is going on?

Okay, what all has been going on event-wise in the days before and after her dream? What I'm seeing right now is some new power that she might think is dark or dangerous, and wants to get away from the new power, but can't. If your girlfriend's working, is she facing a change in management? What is different, authority-wise? The lucidity of the dream may be because the danger is all too real to her. The vampiric biting of the neck could attribute to the feeling of the new power being dangerous, since it's vampiric and vampires that suck blood are seen as deadly and dark. I'll need more information to be certain beyond just vague feelings of dangerous authority and a failed attempt to back out and get away from the influence of this authority (hence the stumbling).

Hmm... I'm not sure what exactly has happened then, but some kind of authority, whether it's a teacher, dean, or even someone in the class, is dangerous to her. I don't know if it's danger as in actively out to get her, or just vibes from them that make her uncomfortable, but she's trying abd failing to stay under the radar.

For some reason, I've been having a lot of dreams about being pregnant lately. I know, for a fact, that I am not pregnant, so there's no way that my body could be trying to tell me there's a little me growing inside of my uterus at the moment. However, it's still starting to bother myself and my boyfriend. I do look forward to the time in my life when I am financially set (or as set as you can be) for children, but I've always been that way. And the dreams are rather strange.

For example, in my most recent dream about being pregnant, my boyfriend and I were living in either the late 1700s or early 1800s in a log cabin with some woman who was apparently my friend. We were all dressed in period costume and everything seemed as normal as it could be. The men were doing manly jobs (stacking and chopping logs for firewood and the like) and the women were sewing clothing and cooking. It was a wonderful dream, even when I realized that one of the women in the group was sitting down and making strained faces. Turns out, she was 9 months pregnant and having labor pains. The woman who owned the house told me to get hot towels and warm water, then to report to her bedroom to help with the birthing. Sparing you the gory details, we delivered a beautiful little baby boy and that was when I noticed I was pregnant. The strangest thing is that I could see little fists pushing against my skin, almost as though it were trying to get out. Or to signal that it was there. Apparently, I had actually known I was pregnant for a month or two, but no one else had. I finally told my boyfriend at that point and he was both nervous and excited. Then I... kinda woke up. Lol.

I wasn't sure if there was anything more to the dreams than me just wanting to grow up and have a family, but I figure that it really can't hurt to get an outside opinion.

I had a dream last night that I was a girl running away from her family with just a backpack of things. A mean neighbour kid was trying to catch me to take me back, but I flew away as far as I could (when I'm even partly aware that I'm dreaming, I LOVE to fly!) and ended up in the city where me and my friends go shopping in real life. I went to a costume shop and bought a wig, then a boy's outfit from somewhere else and started pretending to be a guy looking for a place to live/work. The weird thing is later I think I made a wish and actually turned INTO a guy Sailor Moon style and kept changing back and forth.
Any idea what this means?
