Raine tried to think of something to entertain himself while he worked, if he was going to this until Tsuyosa told him to stop, which could be eternity he wanted the to at least have something to be interested in. He thought about earlier and all Lavi had taught him while they were walking along. Riane pulled himself up and down, up and down. "huh" he breathed through the effort. If only Lavi were here now, or if he could play a cd or something while he worked. The boy pulled himself up and down for a few minutes harmlessly working himself with ease.

"1.... 2..... 1.....2..." He counted up and down as he went. Maybe there was something that he knew that he could teach himself. That would at least keep him interested. The boy's mind flashed back to a dimly lit room, filled with way too many people for it's own good. There was fear and anxiety all around him, until rose petals started to fall, and an oddly light tap on the table as a man jumped on to it. A rose between his teeth. Raine smiled to himself. "I am the fog that rolls in the early dawn." The man said, "I am the courage that wells up in the afternoon sun!" All the poeple were now interested and between gazing in awe and breaking out into laughter. Hatchi.
Raine thought of the old friend who had taken him to see the world, or part of it... He had looked up to his sensei so, but... Raine stopped as he got to the top of his crunch and help his legs.
Hatchi had never come back....

Raine looked up at the clock in the wall of the training room. A good time had passed by and still Raine hadn't felt too bad about doing these crunches. He smiled, apparently recollecting lost memories was great for getting through a training. Raine never had used a bench like this, he only ever lay on his bed with his feet under the headboard and done it like that. Or he would have Heisei hold done his feet, while they traded between spotting each other and training. Those were truly great times, however a little fuzzy. Raine was so small than that he could barely lift a 10lb dumbbell. He lay at the trough of his crunch and laughed at all of the crazy things he had done with his brother.

He rose and fell constantly, breathing deeply each time. His tummy burned with the effort, but Raine welcomed the pain. It would make him stronger. The pain. He cringed to himself, "What a battle wound that was." He whispered as he fell back tot he bench behind him. If there was anything that Raine remembered from his little trip with Hatchi an Shif, it was the pain. Like no pain he had ever felt, or ever wanted to feel again. Obviously he had just passed out, when the jounin hit him.
Raine looked over to his shoulder while pulling himself up.
It had shattered every bone in his body. All because he had picked a fit and tried to throw a bunch at him. Raine laughed at his stupidity, thinking that if it had happened again he wouldn't change a thing. After he blacked out though he only remembered little spots of light that came with extreme agony. His shoulder must have been a mush of bone and muscle. Raine didn't know how he had even survived or gotten better but that was something that he figured he would never remember. ]The boy pulled himself still, it became harder and harder each time, but he pushed through. There was nothing he loved more than pushing his body. Raine this time let his head fall to left of him, where the rest of the equipment was. He saw another bench with gigantic weights on it that he couldn't even comprehend lifting. Tsuyosa could probably do it. Raine clenched his teeth and pulled himself up with more enthusiasm this time. What is that guy's deal! He knew that kicking was hard for me, and still. He wouldn't even give me help like he did with the others. It's so unfair!" Raine thought to himself, his childish tendencies not bothering to think into the problem. He set his attention back to training, and pulled himself up each time with a face of anger and frustration.

The boy took deep hard breaths now, he burned with success and pushed himself just as hard. His fist clenching even harder each time he rose. Raine checked the door to see if anyone was near. No one. Raine liked, just being alone to train. He wished that he could have been outside though where he loved to work. Like in his spot by the tree in the rice fields. When he rose though and looked through the window in front of him, the day looked hot and the villagers looked cooked. Inside was the cool escape from the Suna sun. He missed his home for a moment and dropped down to the bench once more. Raien lay there for a second too tired to continue. He had to rest, staring back at the corner of the room where he was angled.

After a few second, the boy smiled oddly for the situation. He struck his fist up next to his cheeks again and pulled himself up again. Newly energized, Raine gazed out blankly as he thought of all the promises that he made, so that he wouldn't give up. And so that he could be strong and protect people like Heisei and his mom. Like Hatchi too. He would become even stronger than Hatchi the legendary sannin. So that he would not have to go and die with his big wolf. That way Oto would always be home, and everyone would be happy. Raine thought of this peaceful, beautiful world and his eyes lit up while his expression was blank and his mouth parted to breathe deeply. He thought of Hikaru, maybe he too could be a kage someday. Raine pushed himself harder with this thought.

Raine felt invigorated by the thought of being a kage. He wasn't sure that it would work very well though, him being a Tekkenseisai and all. They had some suicidal tendencies, the villagers probably wouldn't like that. So maybe he would just stick with with the dream of being strong and protecting people, maybe someday it would take him somewhere. He thought this as he fell backwards, and hit the bench like many times before. He simply pulled himself up, all the way up as if he were sitting in a funky chair. At this point he didn't really mind if Tsuyosa or Lavi, or anyone came to get him. He was happy here, alone with his thoughts and his training. It was all that he wanted in life, besides a good fight. He fell back once more, Raine didn't even try to pick himself up. The boy lay there with his eyes closed and his chest heaving, his nostrils flaring, and his abs burning beneath his skin.

Raine pulled open his eyes, taking in a deep breath, he pulled his head up and the rest of his upper body followed. He was definitely starting to feel the training more now. It didn't matter though he had worse. He actually didn't feel half as drained as he would have usually. Raine thought back to all the times he had just passed out right in the middle of training. He did it at least twice on the first day of the academy, one during bunshin, once while walking on his hands(that training had been particularly painful). He remembered smacking his head on the ground when he fell off that building playing with Shikome. He passed out learning Henge as well. With each memory Raine pulled himself up off the bench and fell back down thinking about how awesome each one of those memories was.

His trip down memory lane had Raine smiling and giggling between deep gasps for breath. He remembered all the friends that he no longer really knew. They just sort of moved on like friends do. He missed Mashida especially, after nearly dying with him Raine felt a bit of a bond between them. There was Rosie, Akeru, and Kira too. He had never really talked to Kira much, but he remembered accidentally walking in on her making out with some guy in the back of the ramen shop that one night. Raine laughed as he breathed out on his way back to the bench. She was an Uchiha too, just like lady Saiya, now that he had thought about it as well. He hadn't seen the Kage in forever. The last time he had seen her was when Lavi first came that one day a few weeks ago. He didn't even see her to tell her that he was leaving Oto. It was an odd thing, and Raine worried about being able to come back to the village. After few moments of worry, Raine figured that his oms would have taken care of it. She would never let him leave and not come back.

Lavi had finished putting what little he had in it's place and had explored the top floor of the complex other than of coarse this Tsuyosa persons room. He had even managed a little nap. Feeling refreshed and chipper Lavi hopped the stairs and found himself in the sparring room. The man from before was still there now watching some kid fumble around himself. Raine wasn't around though so he kept moving, finding his way through the lower floor, Lavi stopped in a hall filled to the brim with books. It was so beautiful. he knew he would have to spend some hours down here reading these amazingly old and exotic treasures. The teen had to pull himself from the books to search for Raine. Not in the kitchen, but he was quickly found in the weight room of sorts. "Ah hey little buddy."

"Hmm?" Raine pulled himself up and held him there for a little while. "Hey Lavi. I'm just training. Tsuyosa-sensei told me to go until he tells me to stop, so I think I might be here for a while." He panted this a bit, before falling back and pulling himself up quickly. "Actually, Lavi. Would you mind staying here with me and letting me listen to your teaching?" He asked this before going down and coming up in another crunch. He kept going slowly though still watching Lavi think.

Lavi wore a worried visage, he didn't really feel like sitting and talking for who knows how long. "Sorry, Raine I needed to go and clear our stay with the kage, and I also needed to get your mom a new knife." he said, pulling the knife blade out of his pocket that Tsuyosa had snapped off in his hand. "But here you can use this." Lavi stepped into the room and pulled form his other pocket a small square like object that had a little screen and headphones coming out of it. "This is my ninpod. I have some books recorded on there." He scrolled through it and found a history lesson in it. "Just press play." He handed it to Raine and turned to leave. "See you Raine!"
