"Yes, I'll still take the job." Alexander followed Alice for a short while, but then stepped in front of her. "I know these streets. And there's a faster way to the docks. It's this way." He pointed into a narrow, darker alleyway. [[Also I have to go for a short while.]] [[Okay now I'm back]]

((No idea what the hell happened... I'm just gonna do my own thing for this post. Tell me if I've done anything wrong -_- Suppose i shuold be more active))
Before this battle had broken out, Iden had already set off to his hidden residence. There, he said his farewells to the street-rats and gathered most of his belongings (most of which consisted of mechanical tools). He compressed his analysis engine into a small folder like shape which he then desposited into his bag. With everything prepared and ready to go, he opened the valves to the steam tank mounted on the sides of his torpedo-shaped aircraft.
Aerodynamics were completely ignored in the concept of this aircraft as it resembled a propellar plane though with wings that seemed almost deniable to allow the craft to maneuver in the sky. With nothing more than the propellar up front and cockpit further back, the craft was fueled by steam and aether.
With the turning of his wrist and the pulling of a few levers, the aethar in the secondary tank was allowed into the engine before a burst of steam blew out the exhaust from below causing the aircraft to rise suddenly before accelerating at an alarming rate into the distance as the children watched him leave.
Arriving at the docks, he landed his aircraft next to the what he assumed was the crew's ship. Emerging from the cloud of steam swirling about him, he called for help to mount this craft onto the ship. "Hello? Anybody here?"

((It's alright, it is just we were all online at the same time is all.)) Alice followed the man's directions. "You better know what you are doing...." Caleb heard what sounded to be a voice calling to anyone on the ship. He quickly exited his quarters, going up to the main deck. Looking off the side and down at the man....Iden. "Yes, you need some assistance I am guessing?"

"Well if I could lift a mass such as my craft here myself, perhaps not," he laughed, "However, as heavenly as it may to be able to do so, I will require some assistance. It looks like you have a standard buckle system." Iden began to push the light weighted machinery towards the side of the larger airship. "So how are we gonna do this?"

Alexander smiled back at Alice. "Don't worry. I do." He began leading her through a dense maze of alleys.

Alice began to think about whether or not they would be able to keep in pursuit of the captors, since Cornelius was in such a state of disarray. Cornelius sat himself down into the booth, quickly drinking the fiery brew of black coffee. "So then, we are going to Alden, now?" He said, taking a pause from drinking. Rufus breathed out more smoke. "...Soon enough. I 'ave yet to see Alice and that new recruit girl return." Caleb went back into the ship, going through the main hall to get to the doorway. The door opened, and the man wearing the avian mask came out. His wooden heel shoes clicked softly against the weathered planks of the dock. "..I am guessing that the restraints go over the aircraft, then are fastened on the main deck."

Alexander stepped out of an alley and out to the airship docking area. "Which one of these in your ship?" He glanced around at the docked airships.
