Weak point of Necrons are C'tan, as they are few and contrary to popular belief, mortal. Weak point of Bugs is biomass reliance.

Jason Kharo The Necrons have made a planet sized battleship you know, see the Space Marine Codex. No one knows how many more of them inhabit the galaxy. *Stops walking away and turns dramitally* And where in the marine codex is this?

There are some pretty small planets, too. wink
But I have the new SM codex, and although I haven't gone through it too thoroughly, I haven't seen the Necron bit. Got a page number?

Jason Kharo The C'tan are mortal? Show me. from original dozen or more there are only 4 left... It would be great to see each of them go against one Chaos god, though chances of surviving witnessing such battle are, slim to say the least razz Deceiver vs Tzeentch Nightbringer vs Khorne I know not enough of the other C'Tan to pair them up with Slaanesh and Nurgle. The one problem is C'tan cant enter the warp and Chaos gods cant enter reality so the battle is waged by proxies. C'Tan harvesting Chaos worshippers (and even non worshippers who still add to the Chaos gods thru their actions) decrease the power of the Chaos Gods, Chaos gods killing off the Necrons and decreasing the power of the C'Tan armies.

I meant that C'tan are immortal, to everything except other C'tan. No one knows what would happen in a Chaos Gods on C'tan fight, but it will never happen.
And thank you Winnie. smile

And thank you Winnie. smile AFAIK at least some of them were nailed by the Old Ones, and their pupil races (which might include Eldar and Orks)

ork will win given time they fight they get bigger and stronger the more races they pound the new and more powerfull tech they get there hands on, they are not hung up on silly things like love, philosophy, or rank its all about finding a good fight. Even the Imperial scientists have admited that the orks will eventualy take over the galaxy tho that was just before being tried for harisy but they where right. As other have pointed out the orks are the only ones to have taken on a nid fleet head on and stopped it in its traks and as for the necrons you pound enough of them and the rest disapear orks we fight to the last boy and then some. in short
Da Boyz Is Gonna Rule

I think the Tau have a very strong chance as they grow and adopt more of the lesser races they will be the first to unify the galaxy and a universal good shall decend upon us all, Chaos will fade into a past memory, the fallen emperor will be buried with honour with the last of the orks and necrons forced into hiding like cowards. And through various trade agreements the Eldar will be the only relic of the past still waging their war against the decrepted chaos and having all their maiden worlds given to them freely.
now lets see how many people I've pissed off.

Actually that would be a good ending... sadly unlikely. Tau just lack the numbers, Imperium alone would crush them if deemed really dangerous. Plus their warp travel is very limited. And no psykers to manage galaxy-wide comms.

they send messages via transport and the Aun caste keeps the planets in check as well as every time they expand they grow and get more people so as long as they keep growing they have a chance...

Tau technology just isn't fitting for anything more than their compact empire. how do you call for reinforcements in case of major invasion? and then shallow-warp jumps slow down deployment of reinforcements. Get one major Hive fleet to assault Tau empire and watch it crumble. Get Imperium to launch real crusade with full dozen or so of Marine chapters - the same.

And lots of Guard, and yup, they would be finished. Their Empire is tiny compared to the Imperium, Chaos controlled areas, Ork lands or Necron dead worlds, hell, even the Tau's home planet could be a Necron Tomb World, no one knows.
