Great show isn't it?? any other Adult Swim shows you all watch?? I love Ghost in the Shell, FMA, Venture bros. just to name a few. say, did anyone else watch American Dad?? Was I the only one that found the show completely not funny?

Yeah, I watch most of those too. Personally I thought American Dad did not live up FG.

i dont know, btu for some reason i really cant get into venture bros....its kinda like.."eh"

but american dad- it was like EXACTLY family guy (not in terms of characters) but there was a boy a girl...and im comparing stewie to the alien. a talking animal in love with the mom. and then a mom and dad. but it was like....couldn't it be more different? i dunno...except that family guy is sooo much better. 3nodding whee

You hit it right on the head. FG = genius. American Dad was probably Seth Mcfarlan's attempt to see if a second show could succeed even though its the same show. Probably thats his angle

But what do you consider an American? Is it merely defined by the locale in which one lives, or by some transcendent identity? I prefer to not consider myself an American, and would glady void my part in the social contract if I could.

....yes we are.. and i dont trly eleive people are stupid, because i try to think the best of others..however, im saying that most tv watching teenagers take pleasure from mindless things..adn even if it the same stuff over and over, they will still watch, buy, or whatever..so it works for the advertisers or coporations....or osmethnig like that. sweatdrop

If I could, I'd be pure scottish...scotland is so beautiful, not that I"m not patriotic! If asked to, I'll die for my country, I'd just love to have grown up in scottland. 3nodding

I love America for the principals on which it was founded and for the original American Dream, but I am upset about America's current state of disillusionment and pragmatism.

YES! I would LOVE to live in the beginings of america, when everyone was an imagrant, and people banded together in villages to survive and actually cared what happend to one another because they needed eachother, rather than just being out for what -they- can get, what -they- want.....and when it was a society bassed on values! Wether or not people are christians, the values this country was founded on were completely biblical, and that's why this country was so different from all the other countries! 3nodding

I am really sorry to have to break it to you, but the principals upon which this country was founded wasn't exactly Christian.
