MistyRose Angel87309 MistyRose Running after Runa, and stopping now and then she finally saw Runa just ahead of her. Catching her breath for she was hurting somewhat she leaned against a tree and thought to herself, "Why on earth did Runa come here and not wait for me?" Walking toward her after she caught her breath, she slowly approached Runa, "Runa, what is going on, why didnt you wait up for me?" Takara asked softly.. I jumped so suddenly and fell out of the hammock. I looked up at her," Takara?! What are you doing here.....", I asked stunned at how she had caught me so quickly. "....go back....go back to the dragonlands where you belong", I said quietly and turned away from her, I could not look at her and say that without crying....for deep down I didn't want her to go and I didn't want to leave. Looking at her with a shock on my face, Takara grabbed hold of Runa's shoulders and turned her to face me. "I'm not going to leave you here alone. Do I have to remind you that I really dont belong in the dragon clan, and you mean too much to me for me to just leave you here. If you don't go back with me then I'm not going back either. Do you understand me." Takara asked Runa with a serious tone in her voice... "No....you don't understand. I had to leave....its the best for everyone...", I said sadly. "I....I don't want to hurt you....or them...and one day I will. I can't do that to you....you hurt enough already....so please just leave me", I said looking down at the ground so I coundn't see her as tears started coming from my eyes once more.

"Runa you are crazy, I'm not going to leave you and i mean that! As for you hurting me, how are you going to do that?" she asked for she was scared something serious was wrong with Runa and she was going to find out what it was.

"You should sit down, Takara", I said and wiped away my tears. "I....I'm sick Takara. It happened so long ago. When I was but I baby. I was delivered to the safety of my adoptive parents(though I wouldn't call that safe, from all those beatings). But.....it was dicovered by a healer of our village right then....its uncurable.....It's a disease. I'm sorry Takara', I said an begun to cry not even being able to explain the desease.

With tears filling her eyes she couldn't believe what she was hearing, her best friend, friend like a sister to her was dying, "No" she cried...."you can't be dying I dont believe you Runa. Not after all we've been thru lately you cant be dying on me now." with tears flowing down her face unashamed for she cared deeply for her friend..

They can be healed....they can appear to go away and me get better.....but it adds up. They never go away....and with all the fighting we've been doing.....I'm very scared that I don't have long....Thats why I left. I didn't want to die right in front of you", I said and crawled over to her and hugged her sobbing.
