Today is not my lucky day.
I dropped my phone, and it broke in two. I almost cried. I hate AT&T and their flip phones.
Funny thing is the bottom part is fine, but the top part is dead .__.

Sanguina Cruenta Yay classes! What are you taking, Raven? I'm thinking of applying for a diploma in photography... but I'm unsure I'm good enough!... sweatdrop Mostly basic prereq stuff so I can get to the good stuff in a year or so. Algebra, Biology, stuff like that. But there's a cool sounding history class. The History of England to 1688. Though the class title is a little misleading. It's actually the history of England, Scotland, Wales, and Ireland to 1688. The basic deal is that I've been out of school for a few years, having never really done anything but mess around during my previous attempt. So I'm starting over at local college level to build a new and current accedemic record that I can take to the Universities I would like to go to. I'm taking the boring prereq classes because they will transfer to most Universities, so I can get going on my actual feild of interest right away. And I can get the tedious classes out of the way where it's cheap. The whole goal of this it to hopefully end up with a degree in anthropology and/or archaeology.

Oh dude! we're on the front Guilds page! xd *dances*
Anthro's pretty cool. 'cept, at first year level, all the male lecturers are dead inside and will drone at you. The female ones are overenthusiastic. I have this theory that they suck the life from the male ones. This one guy went on for two weeks about seeds. ******** seeds. No lie. I wanted to shoot myself.
BUT! Anthro is awesome because of palaeoanthropology (the stories of finding early hominids are some of the coolest stories in science. Lucy just blows my mind) and forensic anthro which is also madcore. Can lead to lots of different places, can anthro.
I'm going back to school soon too, maybe. Photography. It's exciting but also scary because being a student sucks xd No money!

How in crap did I miss your last chat post responding to mine? Anyway, yeah, paleoanthropolgy is awesome. I'm also big into cultural anthropolgy. It's good to know the context for the physical bits.
And by the way, photgraphy is wonderful. I love it but can't take pictures for crap. If you're passionate about it then go for it and good luck to you!

Hey all! Whats up! Just wanted to say thanks to the Guild at large. You guys are an awesome wealth of information. However I come bearing sad news. I hate Florida. There is a church in a large college city that is being out right hateful and ignorant. They have deemed September 11 Burn-A-Koran Day. They are going to burn hundreds of Koran's in protest of the building of a Islamic Culture Center, that will foster understanding, near Ground Zero, as well just as "a warning". Such stupidity!

Burning of books, even books you disagree with is never a good thing, and it makes me both angry and sad. I really wish people could try to be a bit more tolerant.

So...I am thinking I might take my demonspawn of cousin trick-or-treating. His parents wont take him, cuz he will the eat candy which would be very bad. But I want him to have that experience...so ideas?

If eating lollies will be bad, then don't take him. If you can't actually eat the lollies it's totally irrelevant and no fun and all.

Hmm. Time to clear out the GD, I think. Some of those threads could probably go in one of the subforums.
