He looked down at her hand, and stared at it for a moment. "Er...I'm Tsurui, pleased to meet you?"He shook her hand firmly, his own were cold as ice. Tsurui wasn't used to greeting people so polietly, or at all. "I'd offer you something to drink, but most people don't like DragonsBlood." He sipped a bit more from his goblet, and set it back on the floor next to his chair.

She blushes a bit embarrassedly with how forward she must have came off as. Pulling back her hand she grins sheepishly, shoulders shrugging a bit as she admittedly replies, "I actually used to work here. Haven't been here in a long while though. I'm sure I'll still be able to find myself something to drink though." With a more at ease smile she continues, "Thank you for the offer though. I think I might try some of that. I've never tasted it before but I do enjoy human blood every now and then. I'm sure dragon blood is very different than human's blood but hey," she shrugs, "it might taste better and if it doesn't, well, then I'll know for next time." Wincing a bit but not losing her smile, she inwardly chastises herself for her incessant rambling.

Tsurui just shrugged and offered her the goblet he'd been drinking from. "Knock yourself out." He smiled and placed it infront of her. "I mean that literally...DragonsBlood is real strong." He chuckled to himself as he waited to see her reaction to the drink.

"Gotta say though, there are some interesting demons coming in and out of here." He picked his scythe off the floor, and laid it across his lap, and inspected the blade, flicking off bits of rust off the metal. His blood that had poured onto it earlier, had dried and just added to the decrepit look of the old weapon.

Gracefully accepting the goblet, she takes a small sip as a precaution to his words. She lets out a little cough and a slight grimace and she squeezes her eyes shut, quickly returns the goblet, and runs to the bar to grab a nice, cool glass of human's blood. She greedily sucks it down.

With embarrassed and slightly dizzied steps she returns to plop onto the couch. She takes a pillow and places it on her lap and with a meek smile she asks, "Oh? What kinds of demons?"

He couldn't help but laugh as she winced at the acidic taste of the drink. "I told you it was strong, though if you'd drank the whole glass, you'd probably be on the floor by now." He smiled and took the goblet back, he smiled again and drank what was left in it. "Never been partial to humans blood though..just didn't like the taste." He leaned back in his chair and stared up at the ceiling.

"Oh, just demons that i didnt think traveled out of their own realms. Most are hunted by humans, or...they hunt the humans." He laughed and swung his scythe around once, then returned it to the floor. "Hell, i was pretty cautious when coming in here. Even demons are after the bounty on mine, and my associates heads."

"Oh? Well, I'm not entirely sure what I am but I do enjoy the taste. I also enjoy the taste of apple juice, pomegranites, peaches and marshamallows, so I don't know what all that says about me exactly." She smiles in a friendly manner. "In reference to that being felled to the floor, I think I'll be grateful that I hadn't downed the whole glass."

Upon hearing of the bounty, a look of intense interest leaps into her eyes. She'd always had a thing for wanting to know about past experiences people had gone through and what acts they had committed to bring themselves to what they face in the here and now. A curious expression on her face, she asks, "A bounty? What for?"

Tsurui just fell silent, he looked up at her, a serious expression taking over his face. "Heh, i'm a killer. Plain and simple. I'm what the masses call a 'Death Jester.' We hunt and kill for no reason, the bloody hand prints you see on my body are of all the people whose blood i've spilled." Even his tone had changed, it sounded as if he was a mixture of happy, and sad to have such a reptutation about him.

"We don't have a reason to kill mind you, just that we do. Any who've gotten in our way, has met their end by our hands." The other two jesters appeared behind Tsurui, looking at the girl. Suzaku the female jester had her arms crossed across her chest, a cold glare in her eyes. "It's best not to associate yourself with a jester, our reputation has a tendancy to flow over to those who get close to us." Tsurui let out a laugh and waved her away. "That was my sister; Suzaku, and the one in red, next to her is Paranoia, they are...my family. Don't worry about them." The other two wandered off into the bar again and he and Kittie alone again. "There are millions who'd like to kill the three of us and claim the bounty."

Her eyes sparkle with mirth and amusement. "Oh! That sounds like so much fun. I could never really kill anything though. Well, I suppose not never kill, but, as I am now," she shrugs, "I don't kill. I couldn't harm a fly on a wall, or even purposely step on a budding flower, let alone a weed. I don't know." She sighs wistfully as her vision unfocuses. In her mind she forms an image of a beautiful, deep blue flower washed away under a sky of dark grey and a flood of water filled with deceased and mutilated bodies. A sea of muddy red to wash away the spark of fresh and vivid color. Fixing her gaze back to him and the objects filling the room, she smiles, though with less vibrance than before. "I don't mind killers. In fact, I enjoy their company. I find them to be...exciting." For an instant lasting less than a fraction of a second, her eyes sparkle with a deadly malice then return to their normal friendly cheer.

For the brief moment he saw that malicious sparkle in her eyes, Tsurui seemed fascinated with this inner malic. "Heh, just to be called a Killer is a compliment, compared to some of the names we've been branded. Though, we do so much enjoy the name Death Jester, it suits us quite well." He said with a vicious grin. Most would be detered, by knowing of his past, and in most cases he would have had to kill her. This one was different, she seemed to be interested with their blood-soaked past.

"You're odd, i'll tell you that much. So long as you don't try and turn us in, we won't have to do anything...more like, I won't have to do anything. I don't wish to harm one such as you." He said with a sarcastic smile. "So, you know my story, how about telling me yours." As he waited for her, he got another goblet full of DragonsBlood, this was his third tonight, and still it had no affect on him. He sipped at it slowly, waiting for her story to unfold.

Suzaku watched from the far end of the room, untrusting of anyone around them. "Paranoia...what do you think of these strange beings?" She had a smug tone in her voice as she watched her twin. Paranoia looked up at her, his eyes were a deep shade of red, as he peered at her through his beaked mask. He just shook his head and threw a dagger at the wall. Suzaku laughed and pulled it out. "Yea, i agree. Guess if we have to...we can have ONE more companion...for liability's sake." She said with a soft laugh.

"'Odd' you say?" Her laughter sounds like a peal of bells. "I'll take that as a compliment." Holding out her hands as if to stay any further thoughts on the matter, "As for trying to turn any of you in, your lives do not interest me in such a way. That said, I suppose none of you will have to hold any fear of being caught," she flashes a fanged grin, "or, at least, I won't have to hold any fear of being destroyed by the lot of you. As for my story, there's not really much to tell. I don't know how old I am or who my parents are or what they were. I suppose you could call me a misfit. I honestly can't remember much of my past, how I was raised, or how I came to be. I stumbled upon this place a little while ago and befriended its owner. She offered me a job as a waitress since I had taken a liking to the place and had already provided a voluntary helping hand in its daily business. Things slowed and I drifted. Who knows, maybe this will be my return." As an afterthought of the previous topic, she grins again, revealing a full set of very sharp teeth, "As for the name of Death Jester, I find it to be quite....alluring...and oh so fantastical."

"Thats a new one. Our brand being considered alluring." He chuckled softly to himself and relaxed a bit more, knowing that for now his future didn't involve him getting caught. "What is so alluring exactly about our...er species i guess you can call it?" He nodded when she smiled and bore her full set of sparkling fangs.

"Heh, you got a good set of choppers there..." Cautiously, he pulled up a part of his mask, just enough to show his mouth. Like some sort of animal, his jaw spilt in half, and opened like that of a bugs, revealed several rows of jagged sharp teeth. He closed his mouth once more, and pulled his mask back down. "For as long as i can remember now, I've always been the Death Jester, i can't blame them either. From the way we dress, we look like rejects from a medieval festival of sorts." he laughed once more as the sycthe toppled over, it hit the ground with a metallic clang.
PostPosted: Fri Mar 24, 2006 12:02 am

Laughter rings in the empty corners of the room when the clang of the fallen scythe ceases. Trying to stiffle the sound with a hand, between bouts of giggles she manages to reply, "Sorry. I just found that to be funny and the sound just set me off." She makes a little stopping cough to cut off the giggles then continues with a lopsided smile, "I have a bit of an...odd sense of humor. I suppose it was made to go along with my odd personality." Eyes sparkling in suppressed giggles she gathers her scattered wits to the task of answering his questions, "Well, the fact of your name is alluring in and of itself. It's so, well, funny." She breaks up in laughter again. "I don't mean to insult it. Not by any stretch. I merely meant it was amusing in its oxymoronic conotations. I suppose I have a sort of thing for that, oxymorons. Ornate simplicity, if you would like to take that as an example. Just as there is beauty in death, I suppose you could say there is beauty in the clashing of words, in my eyes anyway." She waves a hand to the air as if waving away the statement.

"Mmm, that mouth you got there isn't so bad either." She smiles in amusement at his statement, his attire, and his mirth as she asks, "How was it that you came to be what you are?"

"I gotta say, this is the first time the jester part of my name ever actually served a purpose." He picked the scythe up off the floor, and laid it across his lap once more, holding onto it tighty. "Death Jesters, were given our names from the way we dress. A jester is always seen as someone to make you laugh and make you happy...but unlike our foolish brethren, we chose to kill for no purpose instead of trying to get some laughs. We...clean up the world so to speak. By nature we are psychotic, and never show our faces. We take pride in our ability to kill, and dawn our kills in different ways. Some keep the decapitated heads of their victims, or like me; keep the bloody hand prints of those we've slain." He paused for a moment, trying to gather his thoughts.

"That's as best as i can describe, what i am. There are very few of us, thus the massive bounty on our heads." He drank down the rest of his dragonsblood, and rolled his eyes. Realising he'd started rambling, and had probably lost his killing 'allure.'

"Well, you know the saying: 'There's a first time for everything.'" Beaming with childish pride she adds, "And I just made that saying true. Well, in this case anyway." She smiles, "In any event, I'm glad your title serves the purpose of laughter for me. Though I do admit that many things make me laugh. As for 'cleaning up the world,' I'll see about that one." Eyeing the great assortment of prints he holds, her eyes sparkle as she say, "You seem to have had a lot of fun in the time you've been around."

Kiani quickly noticed that both Usukie and Selena had gone off some where, and so she was very quick to assume control of the bar. She Jumped up and slid the bag of gold under the counter for Usu, and then began to poor drinks as people requested them.

When a newcomer entered she turned to him, and in her Quiet, yet clear and formidable voice she asked: "Care for a Drink Sol?" She had a way of knowing who people were before they announced themselves. She may look like a normal human, but she is far from it, and any thought that some happens to be thinking, eminates from their mind and finds it's way to her.

A moment later a young lady bounced through the door, Kiani recognized her immediatly, she had stayed here before, though it had been a long while, Kiani forgot noone.

She couldnt' help but smile as Kittie bounced past everyone, oblivious to their existances, and took over the couch where she, herself had been occupying just moments before.
