Aylana eyes widen in shock her mind going blank as she saw the doors moving toward them. Shaking her head she growls "This can't be happening, what dream did I fall into?" looking at the others she frowns. Turning she looks to Amaris then the others "Move it, head into any of the rooms, they'll let you in I promise." lifting her hand from under her wing she watches a piece of furniture lifts into the air flying towards one of the doors.

It was in hopes to distract the thing so the others could get away. She glances at Morty as he appears frowning "Mind if I get some help with these guardians, or were gonna have some serious problems when they get eaten." lifting a lamp she flings it also toward the door.

"Oh crap," Amaris said glibly, pulling her stiletto from its sheath and throwing it at one of the panels on the floor. She tore away from Aylana for a brief moment to stomp on it, but zoomed back after 'defeating' it and retrieving her weapon.

"Don't just stand there!" She glibbered angrily at Morty, then took off one of her shoes and chucking it at another door panel. Today was NOT a good day to be her.

Kumoru glanced quickly at the door, at Aylana, and then back at the door. She had told him that he was supposed to be the guardian of her unborn child, whether he liked it or not, so damned if he could not start guarding now.

"Aylana, I must be the gentleman and tell you to go first," he told her, positioning himself between her and the attacking wooden monster. "I won't let it touch you." It was great that she was trying to keep him safe, but really, she was placing more than just her own life on the line.

Keeping his focus on the door, Kumoru started to mutter the words of a small firebolt spell. With any luck, when he cast it, it would hit the door and leave a burn without actually setting it on fire; if not, the mage counted on the slimey walls being too damp to burn. When the spell was complete, he flung it towards the door with a gesture of his hand, then immediately touched his fingers to his lips where the words of the spell had burned him again.

"Oh crap...." Why, whenever she did something when things in the HQ went crazy, she only made things worse? On the ground now, Nima fired jets of water at the door panels, trying to blast them away from her.

Wait...what did that girl say? The mage heard a sharp noise as Cere slammed her head on the floor. "Omigod! A-are you okay?" She kneeled next to Cerena on the floor, hoping the girl was at least concious. "The room's making everyone crazy!"

Morty was only knocked out of his frozen nature when Aylana and this other woman adressed him. "Huh.. uuuhhhh?" He kind of whimpered, orange eyes staring at the freaky a** door monsters. "M... me?" One claw poked at his own chest, gulping.

"MORTIMER, is just door, do not be a, a, Weichling!" The vampire woman hissed and took the umbrella, silver eyes narrowing on the closest panel. With a bit of a sigh she elbowed her son in the gut before pouncing down on it. One whack with the umbrella and the umbrella cracked down the center from how much pressure and strength she was putting into the motion, and regardless of the fact that her poor umbrella was now broken she continued to pound down on the wierd creature.

The fa'e was still dumbstruck by the surroundings. He didn't know his mother had lived in worse places, and was even more stunned by how comfortable she looked. Hell, she looked more at home here then she did at home! He, however, couldn't just stand there looking like a dumbass infront of all of these people. He couldn't be a whatever the hell a Weichling was. "Okay, okay, okay!" Morty squeeked out, but didn't move.

Cerena didn't reply for a while, but finally lifted her head from the floor. "I want my lawyer," she told Nima dazedly, "And tell Mr. Froofroo not to put jam on the crumpets, alright? oooOOOooo look, the door wants to be our friend!..."

Amaris tore her attention away from beating up the door-bits to look back. "Cerena!" She cried aggrivatedly, then rushed over to her side, skidding on her knees. "Stupid, don't you dare pass out," she growled and shook her hard. "Keep it together, woman!"

She looked back at the others and wrinkled her nose. "All who find it in our best interests to get out of this room, raise their hands," she said, and raised her own. After a moment, she raised Cerena's too.

Under attack, the doors show no fear and frightening adaptability.

FWOOSH, fire was flung at one creature. It hit the sap and lit ablaze, the monster absorbing the fire eagerly and burning away. The entire burning thing leaped to Kumoru, trying to grapple him in its fiery embrace.

SHUNK, a stiletto landed into one and stuck; and a wooden chunk broke off and reattached, the stiletto's handle now firmly stuck at its end and presenting a brand new weapon, which it wasted no time in slashing towards Amaris.

The remaining two monsters both turned their attention to the attacking vampire. While one splinted and reassumbled and splintered again as it was forced to disassembled, reconnecting pieces by Kochi's umbrella, the other reared up and lunged for her, mouth seeking a scrap of her flesh.

Amaris cried in surprise as the door piece came hurtling towards her. She couldn't dodge in time and yowled as many curses as she could rememer, some in her old ancient language, as it thrust into her forearm, cutting deep. "You bloody son of a b***h!" She spat venemously and grappled to grip the handle of the blade.

The bad thing about being her was that she was completely vulnerable to attacks without using necromancy.

"Quick, somebody die or something," she wailed, quickly losing her senses as blood trickled down her arm.

"Don't stain the carpet," Cerena offered helpfully to those in need. "Would.. anyone care for a cup of tea?" And with that she began to laugh, long and loud and hysterically.

Feeling definite pangs of fear at being attacked by a flaming door monster, Kumoru threw his arms up in front of his face and braced himself as well as he could before the firey beast crashed down on top of him. How unfortunate, that it burned so much better than he thought it would.

The best spell he could come up with under such pressure and heat was a wind spell; he did not want to chance taking the time to dismiss his own magical flames, for fear that they were no longer under his control. The necromancer practically shouted the two words necessary to generate a gust of wind from the palm of his hand. He dearly hoped it would direct the flames away from himself to keep his robes and hair from catching, and give him more of a chance to counterattack.

With or without the wind on his side to blow the heat of the flames upwards and away from his body, Kumoru put his foot against the door and tried to kick it away from himself so he could stand again.

Okay. When the door was no longer threatening, but actually TRYING to kill people... that was a surefire sign to Arrien that it was time to get the ******** out of the room.

Pulling her cellphone out of her pocket and opening it (the theory being that the light shed from it would be enough to let her see where she was going), the Jack-of-all-Trades backed away towards the fireplace passage. "Anyone who thinks getting out of here is the most ******** brilliant idea anyone's had all night, the ship is leaving!" She announced loudly, then ducked away into the Inner Hallway in hopes of finding a safe haven - or, failing that, the kids.

Aylana growls seeing the door attacking both Kumoru and Amaris. Her eyes narrow rather quickly before turning fully black. The one thing you don't want to do is piss of a pregnant woman. Her eyes narrowed on each of the guardians then the doors as she attempts to lift the very doors away from each person they attacked. She be damned if anyone else got hurt.

Watching one of the women leave she looks towards the other "Follow her now. I'm not kidding, you want to live just go. Amaris and Kumoru you better go. So help me god if you die I'll find a way to bring you back from the dead and kick your asses." she wasn't kidding either, she knew they couldn't get killed.

She turns looking at Morty "Start doing something or Nyoka gonna learn about this night buddy." she knew that was below the belt but if it got him moving she didn't care.

Trying to eat people was bad enough, but now the doors were flaming? Nima drew out a pair of sigils with her wand and hand, creating a glow around each. She swept her arm in an arc, creating a wave off water directed toward Kumoru, hoping it would douse the fire, if not knock the panel off him.

With all the door monsters now being taken care of, Morty decided promptly that he didn't need to fight. Nope. No need whatsoever. So instead, he rushed for the nearest person who needed help who WASN'T being attacked by doors. Scouring the room he spotted some girl with a knife and near her someone who he didn't recognize, but who was on the floor. Even better, there was now an exit, some other woman calling for people to get the ******** out. PERFECT. He rushed over and without Cerenas permission and promptly picked her up, scooping the rambling woman up in his arms and hurrying to follow the woman by the fireplace.

His gaurdian, however, was a different story. She was now confronted by two of these things. And oh, it had been so long since she'd gotten to tear into something. Grinning from ear to ear with all of her brilliantly pointed teeth shining she quite feraly grabbed the little beast that was coming at her and sunk all of her teeth into it. Beneath a mouth of wood one could hear a deep gluttural laugh as she shook her head back and forth. At the same time, her senses flaring up, huge draconic tail flared out and cracked against the wood trying to reform itself.
