 Azra blinked in surprise before falling asleep on the floor, and Claris narrowed his eyes in rage. How dare this obnoxious creature pull such a trick on them? This one was going to suffer for it, he may actually capture it after all. He was of the mindset however, to keep the Gastly a little busy himself while he waited for Azra to awaken. "Come on Azra.. get up..." He jumped to his feet and a hand vanished into his pocket for a moment before withdraw a Red and White ball, which he promptly flung in the Gastlys face. It may not buy them much time, but it would certainly give Azra a few more seconds to work with before the Gastly started attacking. He was pretty certain he wouldn't be lucky enough to capture the Gastly with this ball however.

Sighing with relief, Sam threw her Pokeball and picked up Sparx. "Good job little guy. We'll see what happens when we get back to TRP. We'll get you healed in no time!" She whispered to him, petting his short fur with relaxation sure that the Pokeball would stick.

 After rocking for a few moments the Poke Ball was still and gave a satisfying ping.
@Ryoushen
"Gast?" The Pokemon frowned as it was sucked into the Poke Ball. The ball landed on the floor, twitched once and popped back open, releasing the annoyed ghost.

Sam smiled smartly and picked up the Ghastly. She knew that if the Ghost Pokemon had broken free that she would have just fought the darned thing herself. No use in letting poor Sparx fight a battle that he clearly wasn't able to. Trotting off to TRP, the Grunt hoped that this victory would be a sign of things to come.

SEA arrived back at the group's original meeting place and went up to TRP. Both her and her pokemon shared grins of triumph as she handed the duskball over to her superior. "Of course not, ma'am," she answered TRP's first question, ducking her head slightly. She moved away again towards the disorderly row of vehicles and jumped into a random one.

Dante, I'd like to bring in my trainer -- should I have her make it into HQ and wait for the others to return from their mission, or would you rather say she managed to make it there on her own, and have her start the mission too?]

The trainer, while young, was no fool. It was not uncommon for particularly inventive trainers to keep a wild pokemon at bay in their own manner while the partner recovered. However, as he had forgotten his Poffins in his room, that was not an option. This Gastly was smarter than he had anticipated and that had been his error in judgment and thus Azra suffered for it.
"Wake up Azra!!!"
He growled as his Pokemon rolled over in his sleep, leaving them exposed to an attack for another few seconds at least. Claris was well aware of his type advantage however, but he wanted Azra in virtually top shape for when early evening arrived.

Sam found her way back to the group and smirked at the others. "Well, seems we're all fine and well. Would anyone have a potion I could borrow to help Sparx? He took quite the punch out there today." She asked, looking around at the others. What a group they were! Some were disobeying the dress code and others were just odd looking. She seemed to be the only normal one out of the others.

@Three Tailed Fox: If you'd like your character to run the mission that's perfectly fine. Assume she tagged along from the trip over and write up her ghost hunt. =3

"Gaassstlyyyyy..." The Pokemon moaned, glowing faintly. An odd knocking noise echoed through the room and the gastly winced, drooping slightly. It had just laid a curse.
 TRP accepted more caught Pokemon, directing the returning Grunts back to the jeeps. She sighed and eyed her watch, "..wonder what's taking the others so long.."
Meanwhile Furin drifted over to inspect Sparx, looking concerned. "Chiime.."

Seles picked her way through the area, making only a half-assed attempt at finding a ghost Pokemon. She was already sorely disappointed with the Pokemon she'd winded up with. The dark-skinned girl had been hoping for something with a little more "oomph" like a Houndoom or a Zangoose -- something with sharp claws and teeth that could do some damage and, you know, actually be useful. Even a humanoid Pokemon like Mr. Mime would be good for her circus acts, but this... bulbous little grass-type Pokemon was truly pathetic.
"Try not to embarass me, Flora," she told the little Bulbasaur at her heels.
"Saur," the Pokemon said, slightly dejected but with determination in her voice.
"Remember, we're looking for a ghost-type Pokemon. Ghastly, Duskull, Shuppet -- that sort of thing." She frowned down at the almost dog-like Pokemon with slight disgust crossing her features. She could never develop a relationship with something so repulsive. Ah, how she wished for a better Pokemon. Maybe TRP would let her keep the ghost Pokemon she caught on this trip.

Sierra shifted Celeste to one arm, the little Pidgey happily roosting there and resting against her trainer. Meanwhile, Sierra took the Pokeball from her waist and handed it over to TRP. "Another Gastly, ma'am," she responded politely, giving her commanding officer a half bow in respect. Of course, it turned into more of a deep nod, considering she was also trying not to drop the resting Celeste.
Having officially completed her mission now, she headed towards the jeeps, glancing around for the others that she'd ridden with. She caught sight of Nikki after a bit, but no sign yet of the guy who rode in the backseat. From the look of things, Nikki and DarkFeather hadn't had a much easier time of this mission than Sierra and Celeste had. In a way, that actually made her feel better...while she'd been unsure of herself and her Pokemon partner, they'd still managed to complete the mission, despite disadvantageous difficulties.
Sierra had learned more than she probably acknowledged just yet with this simple mission. While, yes, she still considered DarkFeather a more imposing-looking Pokemon...Celeste had proved that her gentle mannerisms covered so much more underneath.
Maybe...Sierra wasn't quite so disappointed anymore with her assigned partner...

Claris was very aware of the dangers of the Ghosts version of curse. This unfortunately upset him more but left him with a better chance of catching the Gastly, as it had just weakened itself substantially. Azra stirred and opened his eye sleepily, yawning as he rose to his feet. As Azra stood up, Claris threw another Pokeball at the Gastly, hoping to end this before the curse had much time to set in and hurt his precious Absol.

 Nadali hid her surprise at the initial throw that 1337 made. She watched, thinking that there wasn't much of a chance, but her mouth did open slightly when the pokeball stilled.
Suddenly, she felt very foolish.
"Ugh...really LEET?" She said more as a joke than anything, but sent him a smile and a nod of congrats. When he explained that the Gastly was behind them, however, she turned and let out a slight yelp at the sudden arrival.
"Senka, look out!" She called out, but it was too late, because the tongue of the creature landed smack on the side of Senka's face. In horror, she watched as the tongue pulled at the raven fur of her pokemon, slime coating it as it finally pulled away from Senka's face.
However, a smirk replaced that horror as something quite lucky happened. Before the Gastly got away, Senka took advantage of her ability static. She tilted her ear slightly and sent a shock to the ghost pokemon, using the physical touch from the lick attack to attempt to paralyze the ghost.
Nadali quickly took out a pokeball, and with faith, threw it at the ghost hoping that it would be distracted from the sudden static (and that the static ability would trigger). Moving off of 1337, she simply took a gamble.

 At first, the Gastly seemed pretty content, keeping a silly grin on its face as its tongue made contact with the little Mouse Pokemon. "Gastly lee!" it cackled, before something shocked it. Apparently the ghost Pokemon did not know electric mice had problems with paralyzing Pokemon upon contact. "Gast?" it asked as it attempted to move and found itself just lingering in the air rather than moving where it wished. Its eyes widened a bit as a Pokeball was hurled in its direction. It was hit on the head. The ghost turned into a red sort of energy and got sucked into the ball. The last thing heard was the shriek of "GASSsssss...!"Like the previous Pokeball, the ball wiggled and wiggled, but eventually settled down, the light on the button dimming down. 1337 didn't really feel like responding to anything until the Pokemon had been caught. Only then did he mention "They were low level, but TRP did not mention that we had to catch anything impressive." He scanned the rest of the room for a moment, with his Beldum lingering around his calves. It was then that he noticed something which seemed a bit off. In the corner of the room, there was a purple egg. Prior to going to the mirror shards, there had been nothing too distinguishable in the room. Rather casually, he walked towards the corner and snatched up the strange egg. "...Ooooo... extra credit..." he almost cooed with a smirk as he then returned to his momentary partner. Once he had returned once more to Nadali's side, he then finally asked "How's yer Pichu doin'?"

Nadali watched as the pokeball stilled, and quickly walked over to pick it up. With a sigh, she was glad this strange test was done, and quickly turned to congratulate her partner.
Her eyebrows raised as 1337 looked over toward an egg, and she watched as he went over to pick the thing up. She had heard rumors about strange eggs hatching into interesting pokemon, but they never mentioned eggs the color of midnight.
"Oh...Senka..." She turned her eyes to see an irritated pichu sitting on the ground, shivering and unable to move, "...it looks like she got paralyzed too..."
She walked over to pick the pichu up, and used the palm of her glove to wipe off the leftover spit from the side of Senka's cheek. Than, she turned back toward 1337.
"Let's get out of here...our job's done...and once we are back to base, I'll make sure to heal Senka up..."
