"Maple, that's why we all came here. But we need to be prepared, properly fed and rested before we go out there. We also need to stick in groups. You're not going alone." Vanilla said as she catched her breath "What the hell was all of that?"

"Wait a minute. Are you saying that the scream from earlier wasn't one of ya'll? Look, if there is some one else out there, we need to make ourselves known to them to at least let whoever and where ever they are that we are here. But if that was just another ghost. . .well, let's just let them know we aren't leaving with out a fight."
Naomi thought about it a bit, then grabbed a cross from the duffel bag and opened the door. She faced the hallway.
"IF THERE IS ANYONE OUT THERE, PLEASE FOLLOW THE SOUND OF MY VOICE. WE ARE IN THE SAFE ROOM, I WILL KEEP THE DOOR OPEN FOR YOU. IF YOU YOU ARE A GHOST THEN LISTEN UP! WE ARE NOT AFRAID OF YOU. AND WE ARE NOT GOING TO LEAVE. WE CAME HERE WITH A JOB TO DO AND WE ARE GOING TO FINISH THAT JOB. WEATHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT."

The voice caught Brandon, and smacked him across the face.
There are people here... Good, okay. He thought to himself, and then he walked over to where the voice was, and slowly came to an open door with several people inside, or at least that what he could see all the way from the hallway. Walking more he saw a woman in the doorway, and he smiled to raise a hand.
That smile faded away as the woman in the Kimono materialized in front of him. Grinning savagely and holding a tanto, she started getting closer to Brandon, and then disappeared. Just completely disappeared. Brandon started to walk forward again, and suddenly he got the most ominous feeling, but he continued forward anyway.
He got about four feet away from the door when it slammed shut, making the hall completely dark. And when he turned around, wouldn't you know; the crazed b***h was right there. Brandon turned around and tried to open the door, but it wouldn't give, it just wouldn't open. "OPEN THE ******** DOOR!" He screamed, and looked back, the woman was getting closer and he had a feeling she didn't want to give him a hug.
She got in striking range, and assumed the impaling stance.
"Oh ******** me..." He muttered.

Naomi was surprised at the door slamming, but got over the feeling, realizing the other person was just outside the door.
She tried as hard as she could to get the door open. On the third try she was able to get the door open.
Pulling the boy into the room, she pointed the cross at the women.
"In the name of Jesus Christ, I command you to leave this place!"
The woman didn't leave, and went for Naomi.
Before she could attack, Naomi pulled out her gun and shot her. She disappeared on the spot, but Naomi could still feel her presence.
Closing the door, Naomi leaned her back against the door and slid down.
"Is there anyone else out there?" she asked the newest member.

"Whoa!" He uttered in surprise being pulled in, and falling on his a**. Getting back up and opening his book, the woman shot the ghost and so disappear once more. The woman turned to him asked him a question, he looked at the ground and thought hard, then looked back at her,
"No, it's just me, as far as I know." He said, then he looked around, "What're you all doing here?"

".... We are here on an investigation." Maple spoke up from the floor. She was drawing again as she had caught a glimpse of the woman. To Maple that woman was special compared to the other ghosts, but, she couldn't tell that to the others. They would think her crazy. She stood up, drawing pad still in hand. "We have to go to the bottom of this crap. I'm not tired and hunger is something that's easily helped with...." She pulled something out of her bag. "... this!!" Holding up her hand she showed them the energy bars that she pulled out from the bag. "They are yucky but they fix the hunger and are nutritious. I got them from a friend." She opened the bar and took a bite, shuddering at the horrible taste. "As long as we can go out there." Another bite went down.

Vanilla nodded, "Let's get this show on the road, we've been here long enough. "We don't know how many ghosts there are or what they're capable of, so we do need to stick together. Does anyone have a map of the shrine? We should make a plan. If we go out there unprepared, we're done for."
She reached into the bag of crosses Naomi brought and started handing them out to everyone. As she did so, in her mind she spelled each one, "In the name of the goddess and the god, and in the name of all things good. Please protect the holder of this cross."

Maple took one of the crosses and put it in her shirt-pocket. Then she looked at all the others with a grin. "Let's rock!!" When she finished the sentence a moan floated through the shrine making her grin take a duller turn.

"Whoa, Not so fast speedy. Like Vanilla said we need to make a plan. But first, now this is just a suggestion, but maybe we should introduce ourselves to everyone. Reason being is that we just got a new teammate and to be honest I don't know the other guys name. No offense."
