Glitch grinned happily as she shovelled more food into her mouth, then realised she was grinning with her mouth full so stopped and concentrated on eating. Yuki came and sat at her table and she looked up expecting Freya to be right behind Yuki, afterall the three of them had been going to the cafeteria together. But Freya wasn't there. She swallowed the mouthful of yoghurt she had and looked about.

"Hey wheres that teacher Freya? Wasn't she just with us?"

Glitchs bright green eeys scanned the room and as she was looking for freya she spotted Kora. She waved as the girl moved away from teh cafe line with a breakfast tray.

"Yo! Kora over here!"

As if it had been impossible to see a table with a goth looking guy, a girl with wings and another girl with shockingly red hair waving frantically.

Dr Essex had finished administering the last of the drugs to his creations for this morning. They were as good as ready, he had the controls and so everything was in place for this afternoon. He had locked each specimen in its cell and was just removing his surgical gloves when a monitor on one of the lab benches flashed up the CCTV footage of the hallway outside.

"hmmm what is this we have here?"

He was watching the door of the room he was in, but from the outside. The door handle seemed to be glowing hot.

"Switch to infared"

The camera obeyed and a human shaped figure could now be seen. Sighing he pinched the bridge of his nose in frustration. People sticking their noses in things they really shouldnt be were only going to be a problem later down the line. He activated his armour, which shimmered and gave him his usual everyday appearance. The less scary version of a man in his late thirties dressed in an almost stereotypical teacher fashion.


He gathered up a couple of books, he checked around the lab to make sure his creations were hidden from sight. Yep it looked like a laboratory alright, but nothing questionable going on. He walked to the door, paused a moment to straighten his tie out a little, and then opened the door with the swipe card.

"Miss Steele I presume. May I ask what you are doing, being that you are a faculty member and vandalising school property?"

As he said this he stepped into the hallway and closed the door shut. It hissed then clicked closed.

He kept his voice light and polite, but he was curious as to why she was randomly trying to get into his lab. She was still invisible but he knew she was there. He had after all hand picked all the people in this building and had read documents on each individual. the only current invisible ability mutant he had picked was Freya.

Freya stood there mouth agape at the fact that he knew she was there, she looked around in a desperate motion, still invisible she remembered a trick she had taught herself at school, she looked up the corridor and picked out a door, she focused on where the lock should be and slowly heated it, the metal expanded and the lock clicked open letting the door swing open, she remained silent barely breathing, hoping that he thought she had gone in that room.

"Now that you mention it, I didn't see her after I came in here" Yuki said after swallowed a mouth ful of pancake, "Wonder where she went?" Yuki looked up after Glitch had yelled to Kora.

"Hey" she said, smiling.

Even though Alisha had decided to explore today, she was not particularly interested in meeting anyone. It would be so much easier to judge the difficulty of the competition if I had a few classes with my peers before hand. she though, scanning the room. She sighed, piled her food stuffs onto the tray and walked it over to a garbage bin. The tray was dumped of contents and placed on the tray pile. She went back to her table and gathered up her book, notepad and pencil. As her hands did this she watched the room, curious.
She left the cafeteria, and began walking down a different corridor than she had come from. I wonder, with these become bothersome to hold, or will I be glad I have something to do when I find a nice spot? She smiled to herself, or both? She paused, looking into a partially open door. Tables, the chairs stools are all on one side. Sinks? Oh, a real science lab. she stepped in after a quick glance up and down the hallway. The shelves caught her interest. So many jars, only some labeled. I wonder what is in them? Or what they are for? She brushed her fingertips against the glass, scanning the jars' contents and labels intently.
She heard a noise and jumped back, looking at the door. As she did so her book and paper fell to the floor. The notepad softened the sound, but the text was still heavy and the floor still hard. She cringed and bent down to gather them up.

Yuki looked around, and saw the floating tray.

"Not crazy because I just saw it too, and you are lucky that you don't have wings all the time. I keeep getting them stuck on doorways and branches" she said noticing that Chaos didn't have his wings anymore. She finished her pancakes quickly.
